Appearance: Sky-blue hair shimmering with health flows down around a cute face with an upturned button nose, matching sky-blue eyes and lush pink lips, down behind long, slender arms and a full, perky bust clad in and uplifted by a deep blue brassier of clamshells, down past a heart-shaped posterior clad unconcealingly in sapphire scales to the crook in the long, matching, glimmering tail. This is Mairsile, third triplet of Antolia, differentiated from her siblings by the pale birthmark on her forehead in the shape of an upward crescent moon.
Personality: Mairsile is a curious child and, growing up in a monogendered society, possesses little concept off sexual modesty or privacy. This also leaves her immensely curious about the bigendered human race, so differently-featured as they are. Though her curiosity is purely scientific, in combination with her lack of understanding of boundaries, this often results in some rather comic confusion. In environments more familiar to her, she is an intellectual and analyst, preferring to step back and evaluate a situation before going in, trying to decipher the best way to proceed before doing so.
History: Mairsile is a member of the Tide-Water Clan of mermaids populating the archipelago known as the Aaron Isles. A practically unheard-of triplet conception led to the birth of herself and her two sisters, her mother being fond as she was of human men leading to the higher birth rate. Her sisters shared their mother's fondness since their thirteenth birthday, but such a desire never truly awoke within her. Instead, she was one of the rare Tide-Water mermaids to inherit the gift of magic, likely due in great part to her father being a mage of some renown, himself.
Her magic was allowed to develop down its natural course, which led her heavily into alteration magic, which comes in handy for various things, including improving dwellings and creating hunting mounts out of captured fish, but serves little purpose in actual combat. One of her favorite uses is to give herself legs for a time so she can walk on land among humans. She dreams of one day finding her father and learning what kind of magic he knew, as well.
