Name: Dominic de Dracule [Dominic of the Dragon] (Dom)
Age: 21 [Commonly appears to be]
Gender: Male
Race: Cursed Human
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Power Level: 4
Timeline: Modern (Can be used for any though)
Appearance: He is at essence a black shadowy image of a may with a ponytail just slightly past shoulder length, in a set of loose fitting clothes, but he can assume the form of anyone or anything.
Personality: He loves a good joke, most often involving an unsuspecting person and his powers.
History: Dominic, years later and many miles from his pirating lands. He was in the prime of his life, but he defied the gods. He did not stay to fight like he should have, and the navy battle never happened. The gods, angered by this, cursed him, stripping away his body leaving him a shadowy wraith of his former self, but one god was merciful, and gave him the ability to hold and use the forms and natural powers of others.
Dominic was born in 1703 to a ex-soldier-turned-fisherman in France. Dominic was torn between love of his father, and his disgust of his position. His father was granted the title de Dracule for his ferocity during his service, and yet now he was a simple fisherman. Dominic wanted something more for himself, and eventually became an oceanic merchant. He failed horribly and resorted to piracy to make a living.
Years had passed since he became a pirate, and eventually he commanded a small ship under the command of a more famous pirate. As it may, towards the end of his human life the pirates were set to engage a Navy armada in a final war between pirates and the Navy. Dominic deserted when it counted most.
This angered a certain god, Calypso, as Dominic had unknowingly disrupted her plans. Because of this, and perhaps because it was Calypso to begin with, Dominic was cursed and unable to hold the form as a human. He was forced to live as a shadowy wraith until he died, and it would have happened, had another Deity not given pity to him.
Although his original form was not given back to him, Dominic was granted a divine gift to mirror nigh anything he witnessed, granting him a new possibility for life. Years passed and Dominic found he could live forever as a man in his prime, merely by keeping his shape as such. Delighted over the possibilities, he spent his time making appearances as famous people and using that to get things for free.
This in turn led to his prankster nature, as he can assume the form of others, and perform things like 'reaching out of a mirror' or turn into someone like ... oh say Clinton, and ask random questions to the person. He is not harmful per say, but sometimes his jokes do get close to hurting someone.
Powers: Doppelganger- He can imitate any aspect of an object, from texture and heat to sound and natural powers. While he is weaker than the original, Dominic would be able to imitate Superman’s powers. Where as Superman can lift a plane with one hand, Dominic could lift half a plane, using both hands. This enables him the ability to live forever by staying at a certain age forever.
Teleportation- He can travel through objects at will. He uses this mainly to appear move through shadows, or to make himself go into a mirror to play with peoples nerves. This of course can lead to him being stuck in the pieces if the said teleportation tool is broken. If he goes into a mirror and it breaks, he is stuck there until the pieces come back together somehow so he can pull himself out of the object.
Minor Telekinesis- He can not moving anything heavier than a metal chair, but it is still enough for him to bring a broken mirror together to free himself. This is self taught, so nothing fancy. It is merely something he learned after the fifteenth time he was trapped by his mirror being broken with him inside of it.
Minor Enchanting- He is able to enchant some what, mostly able to make someone not examine and ask too many questions Dominic would not know. This is useful if someone wants to ask him about the past, something Dominic is not able to clone when he Doppelganges someone.
Gift of Tongues- He can speak virtually any language, from long dead languages to imitating the sounds of winds and speaking in animal. This mainly is used to accompany his various disguises, from his French cop to his Irish boxer, and anything else he may think up.
Weapons: His cane, which is able to transform with Dominic. It shapes itself usually into a cane or staff, but can be a whip or chain, a belt, or anything that would be used as a weapon, but could also be hidden or disguised easily.
Weakness: He is weaker all around then whatever he doppelganges. Dominic is still a mortal, even though he can technically use his powers to stay one age forever. He likes to run away a lot. He has a habit of making jokes at the worst of times. He also has a self set of laws, and he does not acknowledge the laws of government. He has a little below average mental resistance, and he amuses himself easily.
