You see, KT? That's lawyering. He's refusing a case based on that it doesn't fit the absolute letter of the definition. The fallacy of composition is taking the argument " A and B help proove C" and saying " A is wrong and B is wrong there for C must be wrong" Your argument was " A helps proove C" You lacked a B, there for, the fallacy is untrue.

A was the definition of discrimination. B was the benefit the rule provided in ensuring everyone is treated fairly and equally. C is that the rule is important and should remain as is.
This is part of the problem of your argument. You do not wish to see a B, therefore you don't see a B, and proceed to lecture us on why there should be a B and how we are all fools for not providing one for you to nitpick.
And regardless, you have a nasty habit of disregarding the point of a post just because its wording isn't quite how you'd like it. Ironically, I think this was something of Donut's point, and yet you turned about and did it to him, acting as if you were so smart because you thought you could ignore what someone was trying to say to you just because you didn't think they were saying it right, instead of actually trying to put forth a modicum of effort to try to understand what is being said to you and why the person is saying it.

Defining a word isn't a premise.

That would depend on what role defining the word serves. If it serves to clarify a point by illustrating what one means, then yes, it is. However, once again, you are simply nitpicking in an attempt to show your imagined intellectual superiority.
And before you try to nitpick that, no, I'm not calling you stupid. I'm pointing out that you aren't as vastly superior to us in intelligence as you have been trying to make yourself appear.

In order to give everyone an opportunity to cool off and get some sleep, this thread will remain locked until morning.
*edited*
Now that we have all had time to cool off, the topic is unlocked. Let's please try to keep it civil; as Kainus said, this is an intellectual discussion.

Shockingly, I'm going to have to say that while I discriminate against certain people joining my Rps (when I have one) but I'll find something about the character to use to deny the character. (And have done so on more than one occasion, but not many times on here. Also, never with a true zeal.)
