Daedrious nods his head towards Einwyn. "Your turn, of course."
Einwyn taps a finger against her lower lip, offering a small, slow nod, before speaking. "Universally acknowledged are these words of old--"
Daedrious 'hmms' softly to himself as he puzzles out something to say, before nodding his head. "Even when they're loony and should be sold."
"Good one." The lady smirks slightly, shaking her head, wrinkling her nose as her platinum locks come tumbling down over her nose and forehead once more. "Ungh. I believe it is your turn, anyhow."
"But of course." He nods his head towards the lady before giving a grin. "When given the option between defeat and retreat--"
"It really doesn't matter, as one's likely dead meat." Einwyn quipps, without hesitation.
Daedrious nods his head lightly towards the lady, giving a faint grin. "Alright, your turn once again."
Einwyn nods once, before speaking. "A poem is a song if sung to a tune--"
"Just as water is a soup if eaten with a spoon." Daedrious shrugs his shoulders lightly, grinning gently towards Einwyn.
"Fair enough." Einwyn smirks quietly, tossing her hair over her shoulder once more. "They -sound- as if they rhyme. And now, it is your turn."
"Because they did rhyme, of course." He smirks a bit, leaning forward a bit. "Shoes should be worn on the hands and not on the feet--"
"Especially for those who adore looking--" She pauses, smirking, as though placing emphasis upon the sarcasm in her words. "--neat."
Daedrious gives another grin towards Einwyn and nods his head, leaning back and then actually laying on the ground. "Alright, your turn."
Einwyn sighs quietly, turning to look at the other for a moment, before scowling just a little. "For those of patience, a contest means--"
"That one will have to change up their routines." Daedrious isn't so oblivious to notice that his opponent is getting bored of this little contest. Considering it has been going on for hours now.
Einwyn blinks placidly for several short moments--then, finally, decides to speak up. "...truce?"
Daedrious sighs a bit and then nods his head. "For now."
Einwyn nods slowly, then leans back, releasing a somewhat unlady-like grunt as her head hits the grass. "Good."
Daedrious turns his body so that he can get a better look at the lady. "I'm surprised you lasted as long as you did."
"Oh? Why's that?" She pauses momentarily, wrinkling her nose, as she turns her head to look upon the other, grass upon her cheek. "Do I have the demeanor of a brutish woman with all the brawn of giants, and all the brains of fools?"
Daedrious laughs a bit at this and simply shakes his head. "More like... you seem to be one to tire of things easily."
Einwyn shrugs mildly, turning her head once more. She clasps her hands together over her middle, and releases a low, long whistle as her eyes fall shut. "I -do-. But this was... a little different."
Daedrious blinks a bit at that, and sits up on the ground as he looks towards the lady. "Different how?" He crosses his hands over each other in his lap, looking at Einwyn a little more closely.
"It was less boring than usual." Her voice is crisp as she answers, though, for a moment, it seems as if there is a smile upon her face--which quickly disappears into the lines of a somewhat smug smirk.
Daedrious leans closer to the lady and nods his head. "Perhaps it was because you had a true challenge?"
"Perhaps." She answers, briefly. "Perhaps not. Summer is near it's end. It is less hot than usual." Here, she pauses, allowing her eyes to flutter open--and grins. "Perhaps the weather causes me less grief now."
"It has been getting a bit cooler." He then moves to lay down next to the lady, staring upwards. "We will have to finish our fight sometime."
"It wasn't exactly a -fight-." Einwyn reasons, her voice crisp. "But aye. We could. Perhaps you may yet lose."
Daedrious gives a bit of a grin as his head turns towards her. "I doubt that. I am much too stubborn to lose."
"As am I." Einwyn smirks. "Perhaps in a year, Daedrious. I am not so competitive in the Spring, nor the Fall. My Winter self, you have met--and -she- is nothing short of placid and silent."
Daedrious nods his head towards Einwyn lightly. "And what would you consider yourself right now? You seem... calmer than you were even a few hours ago."
The lady chuckles quietly, rolling her eyes as she rolls her shoulder slightly in a small shrug. "It is night. Therefore, it is less hot--and therefore, I am less likely to bite."

Wow. A whole heck of a lot of RP.
Might as well explain it. ^.^ They're having a couplet-rhyming contest.
