Where they're just talking in the thread, I believe. I think we had one of those threads one time in the General Board... It died, I think. Got too crazy or something.

I remember the Pie factory well... ;D
I should re-create it...I might have most of the initial post here somewhere.
Anywho, talking is okay. In fact, I encourage it, so long as you're not hijacking the thread. However, it's all about preference and context; this example came from a support board, where talking and banter should be reserved for specific boards dedicated to such things, instead of inside people's tutorials, pleas for help, bug discoveries, and the like.

"Surious conversations of epic ness?" What is that? Spurious* And it's when conversations drift entirely from their intended subject and result in something marvelous. *o* Of course if there's no intended subject to begin with, it's not really hijacking is it? It's just a conversation with no focus.

Exactly, which was the entire idea behind the Pie factory. It, unfortunately, eventually became a vessel for people to roleplay horrible horrible happenings. Even this "good" spam, if it results in the hijacking of a topic, is still bad, and should instead be made into a seperate subjectless topic.
