*shakes head* Yeah, quinnv, get used to all these English-speaking people fighting over who uses better German...It happens quite often. As far as I know, none of these people are from Germany or speak German as a first language.
*shrugs* You'll learn to ignore it.

I wish our school offered it, too. I would've taken it. Instead, all we had was very poor Spanish classes.
Sorry about the late welcome, power's been out over here. Welcome to the EAB!

I'm surprised a lot of schools don't offer Japanese, it's a pretty fun language to learn. New writing system, different grammar rules, lots of conjugating, etc. =)
I heard though if you know Spanish it's easier to learn Japanese (?) but maybe that's just a rumor
thanks for the welcome *hands you an exploding cookie*

*Ignores Veros' stubborn incorrectness and This One's wrong assumptions*
Meh, Japanese...I'd really want to learn Korean. Or Chinese, since we'll all have to move there soon if we want jobs. I still prefer German, though; actually think I'm better at it than English. Then again, I'm horrible at English, so that doesn't say much I guess... ;D
Easier to learn Japanese if you know Spanish? I've never heard that one. I guess it's because your mouth is moving as fast? I don't know...do Japanese roll their "R's"?

Easier to learn Japanese if you've learned Spanish?! If that's the case I should try learning Japanese right away. >D I was excellent in Spanish (According to teacher! D: ), maybe Japanese too...Unfortunately stupid school here doesn't offer Japanese. When 77% of the school is Asian. T.T (Though of course that might be why?) At any rate, I need to learn Chinese before Japanese. I know how to say "Give me food" and "My name is ___". x3
I'm part German... =D
But! Welcome, my good friend. Don't kill anyone. D:

Haha, I think Korean is really hard to speak... Chinese is ok...and by Chinese I'm gonna assume you mean Mandarin (too many dialects XD)
Actually... Japanese people can't really pronounce r's well... because the "r" sounds like an "l' in Japanese... this is why my Japanese friend confused "crap" and "clap" :') but adorable she is!
I can teach you Japanese and Chinese KT:D! I can't believe your school is 77% Asian! That's more than ours! haha... I didn't know you were part German o.o O.O
your icon is funny KT

Spanish has a lot of conjugation depending on the person of the verb (first, second, or third person; singular or plural). Same way that Japanese have different forms of verbs, and a "polite" version to every verb I can think of. Japanese is a very formal and polite language (and society) and has very little curses.
Your school has more asians than my high school did. I think I was one of the only ones (and I'm only part Filipino).

We should have a "school" board... where members can take on students and teach what they know in master lessons (teaching a group of students)/help a particular member in a one-on-one lesson.
Ah, darn... perhaps I should make a post on this in Suggestions.
