Ariel stared at the opposing suit as it just fell over, the metal sizzling hotly at the impact point. It was a conjoined decision to keep the weapons systems at ready status.
"That wasn't our doing, was it, Striker?" she asked, data of the Omega's estimated hull density and composition scrolling down her vision beside their cannon's output levels and point of contact. It was just a confirmation of her disbelief. The answer was plenty obvious.
No, it wasn't, the answer came. Sensors indicate commands are no longer being successfully issued to the suit. Whether this is deliberate on the part of the pilot or if there has been a malfunction is unknown.

"Omega Res Novae re-start... modding internal configuarations.. activating full pre-start commands.. locking OS.." the pilot stated to himself.
The mech then lifted itself up and stood. The right arm then came forward and gave a swipe infront of itself. Over the front speaker the following could be echo'd..
"It is time that you died now.." the voice boomed in the whole testing facility. "Phase Transfer Cannons repell." the pilot spoke again.
On the Omega, two cannons seemd to be revealed from a sleet of armor that was pulled back from the shoulders and extended out. "Primary firing sequence activated."
The unit seemed to clench it's hands and from the cannons it seemed that the wings on the back of the unit raised up and started to glow a deep red pulse. "Die.." it came out over the speaker again. The cannons then jutted foreward yet again and released two massive beams that were about 20 metres in diametre toward the Striker.

The two saw one opening. The moment the cannons came out, the Striker dashed toward the suit. The only hope they had to avoid getting hit was to get between them, into the cannons' "blind spot," so to speak, where they wouldn't be able to angle toward them. The gatlings on both arms sprung to life as it peppered the visor area of the Omega, hoping to cause, not damage, but contact flash to disrupt the visual sensors and buy the suit a little more time to close the distance and reach safety from the cannons.

As the gattling guns started up the Omega unit twitched and the projectiles then passed through the unit. The Omega then phased out like a Hologram and unexpectedly, the Striker might not even be aware of the actual Omega in it's cloak, using it's Weapon X as the generators. After it uncloaked the unit would try to bring it's claws across the side of the Striker, with enough force to rip off it's left arm.

(I'm sorry, what just happened? One moment, it was firing massive cannons, the next, it's cloaking? Did I miss something?)

( Dude. It's called being decieving. A reason why it stood still. It created a hologram and still in it's own phase, the thing cloaked itself using the generators on it's back and then stepped out of the hologram, making it look exactly like it never moved. Then it used it's own program to simulate the phase-Cannons. Understand? )

(Oh, okay, I think I'm with you now. I've got a few more questions just to make sure I've got the right idea, but I'll ask those over IM so I'm not cluttering the thread.)
