(This is a Modern Timeline RP with a maximum power level of Mid-Tier High. The minimum is Mid-Tier Medium.)
Glenn's hand held a firm grip over Cassandra's, the pair sitting down at the long table. Cassandra had her white bridal gown still on, but as usual, Glenn was being a complete joke with his suit. His tuxedo now had a plaid print jacket and pants, with a hawaiian print tie. Glenn leaned back and smiled. Today was the best day of his life, bar none. Cassandra was happy too, but of course, why wouldn't she be? The reception was going along smoothly, and as he promised, he waited until after the ceremony to fiddle around with his tux. Yes, today, his wedding day, was the best day in his life. And no one would be able to ruin it, not a soul.
*Meanwhile,*
Karen sat at a lonely cafe, brooding quietly. She slowly drank her coffee, sadly staring down at the dark liquid. Her cheesecake was relatively untouched. The scientist merely sat, sighing depressedly. The occasional tear ran down her cheek, which she immediately wiped away.

*Reception*
A bodily-gifted girl in her teenage years with blue skin and white hair approached the newlyweds with a smile, absently pulling on her bridesmaid's gown that she wore. "Hey, I just wanted to tell you two congratulations. It was an honor to be here and see it."
*Cafe*
A man's hand set a glass of what looked like liquid sunset before Karen as he moved to sit down across from her. "Drink up," Jeffery said. "It'll help."

Glenn raised an eyebrow. "Thanks.... Luna, right? I'm just glad you decided to be there for Cassandra."
Cassandra smiled. "Besides, we should be congragulating you, right?
*Cafe*
Karen shook her head. "No thanks, not interested." She said sadly.

*Reception*
Lloyd walks into the reception hall and sits down very calmly. He was there because he could see that there was a gathering of very strong people in one place for some reason. "It just seems like a plain wedding to me, expect the groom’s poor taste in clothes," he mumbles to himself. "I will just stay in the shadows and see if anything happens with all these strong people here."

The girl frowned in confusion at Cassandra's words, not following. "For what?" She looked down at her free hand. "Oh! The bouquet?" She seemed to panic a bit. "Really, I didn't mean to catch it ... I was just trying to get out of the way, but they were all jostling and shoving, and it just sort of ... fell into my arms ..."
*Cafe*
The Olympian propped his elbows on the table and rested his chin in his hands as he looked across the table at her. "It's either that or tell me what's bothering you. What's it gonna be?"

*Lloyd*
"You realise that it's not exactly the best of manners to show up to a wedding reception uninvited." A man said, this man appeared to have no power to him, yet he carried himself with authority. He had greying hair and had a black tux on. Beside him was an Arab around the same age, appearance wise. He wore a beige buisness suit and a white turban over his thinning hair. He seemed to have a large amount of power about him.
*Reception*
Glenn smiled a bit. "Well, to each their own." He said snidely.
Cassandra just grinned. "Just ignore him. We know you didn't mean to grab it, but what can you do?"
*Cafe*
Karen sighed. "I guess I can tell you what's wrong. Talking seems to be the only thing I can't screw up. I'm getting out of the buisness." She said, wiping another tear.

Not too far from the reciption hall two men are looking at a map, one is trying to help the other find his way to a nearby area, although neither of them are too familiar with the area, they stop outside of the building of the receiption hall and approach one of the men outside. Jack was the one to get the mans attention,"Excuse me sir, I have a question." Jack was wearing an all white suit as was his fashion taste, and Chase just so happened to be wearing a white dress shirt with black pants.

The man, a rather burly fellow with blonde hair and innumerable piercings, turned to face Jack. "Sure, go ahead and..." The man raised an eyebrow when he saw Jack. "Shoot.... Hey, aren't you two supposed to be inside?" The man looked back into the building. "Hey, Dennis! They showed up!"
Dennis turned out to be a Middle Eastern man in his early adulthood. He smiled wearily at Jack and Chase. "Ah, good to see you two found the place! Please, come in! Come in! I think everyone was just about to eat!" He said cheerfully, forcefully grabbing Jack by the hand and almost dragging him into the hall.

Jack struggled but was too caught off guard to fight back, he called back to Chase,"Hey alittle help here buddy?" Chase followed after the two as Jack was being pulled along

*Reception*
Lloyd just turns to the man with a black stare and says, "I really don’t want to turn this in to a fight it is wedding after all. You don’t really look like you are very strong so if you’re picking a fight you really don’t want to fight me so don't bug me." Then Lloyd turns around ignoring anything he had to say and walked away.

Luna shrugged as she maneuvered a bit awkwardly into a sitting position with the dress across the table from them. "Let's just hope it doesn't come true. So, what are you two going to do for a honeymoon?"
*Cafe*
Jeffrey tilted his head and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. "Quitting the business? You don't mean giving up on your dream, do you?"

*Outside Reception Hall*
Dennis looked back at Chase. "Come along! Come along! We gotta get rid of this food somehow!"
*Lloyd*
The Middle Eastern man seemed to walk in front of Lloyd almost instantly. "Now you are just being rude. I asure you, Ruban and I had no intention of fighting someone, least of all you. If anything, we were hoping that you would like to enjoy this dinner with us and our friends and family, considering you've decided to drop in on us."
*Reception*
Cassandra couldn't help but smile. "It's not easy, is it?" She asked. After the mention of the word "honeymoon", though, both Cassandra and Glenn paused, furrowing their brows. "Uhh, we... haven't thought of that yet." Cassandra said honestly.
*Karen*
Karen frowned more and took a very long drink of her coffee before continuing. So long, in fact, it seemed more like she was hesitating than drinking. Finally she seemed to calm her nerves and tried to mouth a response, in the end, all she could do was nod.

*Reception*
"You haven't thought of that yet?" She leaned forward, squinting uncomfortably as she forgot to adjust for her upper torso, and then spoke again after she had readjusted. "What are you going to tell people come tomorrow morning when you're still here?"
*Karen*
He remained silent for a bit, not pressuring her, then when she didn't seem to intend to say anything more, "I don't suppose there's a particular reason?"

*Reception*
Both Cassandra and Glenn hemmed and hawed, it was Glenn that spoke up. "Get out of our house?" He suggested before being elbowed in the ribs by Cassandra.
"I'm sure we can think of something before tommorow." Cassandra said confidently.
*Karen*
Karen sniffed a bit. "Of course not! Why would I want a reason fro walking away from something I've dedicated my life to? This is just a whim! Give me a few minutes, and maybe I'll decide to be a clown instead!" She said angrilly, before sobbing and lowering her head. "I'm sorry, I'm just... really going through a hard time. I'm giving up. I'm sick of the failures and I'm sick of people always there putting salt in the wound. Every. Single. Time. No matter how obscure the mess I make, someone hears about it...and then everyone hears about it." Karen sighed. "I'm a failure. My sister was right. I can't accomplish anything."

*Reception*
Luna tilted her head a bit in silent thought for a moment. "Well, I'm sure you two do a lot of hopping, but if you're interested, I know of a nice, quiet cabin. It's on the edge of the woods and a nice, wide field, with a small river running past."
*Cafe*
"Now, I wouldn't say that," Jeffrey answered quickly. "How many people do you know of that have single-handedly overthrown a plane of deities? And think of how many people have had to gang up each time to stop you when they do?"
