Shawn thought carefully as the message ended. He had heard of Ted Enstix before, of course, but had never worked closely with him. Like most executives, he usually worked solo. Midnight ... it could take some timing, but it could be done. The shift change would occur at that time. He could get Ted assigned to the shift after his and Domino's, which would give them a rendezvoux, and then it would be a simple matter to leave Section B7 and go to the outside of the complex. Of course, the tricky part would be talking to the executive.
A few minutes later, he was outside Enstix's door, and he pushed the button to activate the door bell that would sound inside his quarters and alert him that he had a visitor.

*Tristan*
The fly flew onto Tristan's shoulder. "It's Glenn. Of course, if you want to say that mouthful when adressing me, be my guest."
*True*
The young man shook his head. "Oh, no no no. I'm just a helpful kinda guy. You seem like a competant leader, heck, I'm suprised you haven't conquered the world already? Someone keeping you from that?"
*Shawn*
A few seconds after Shawn had alerted Ted of his presence, the door opened. A Medicham was staring up at Shawn, holding the door open for him. His trainer was sitting crosslegged on the floor a little while away in what seemed to be some meditation of his own. He had combed his hair and was in a presentable uniform. "What can I do for you?" He asked, his eyes closed the entire time, not knowing who he was adressing. The Medicham closed the door behind Shawn and sat beside his master, sitting down in a similar stance.

"I was told you also received a message," Shawn answered. "Is this true?"

"Oh, it's the grumpy guy. Yes, I did find a similar disc when I came back here. I was just contemplating further action when I finished watching it. I suppose you're here to find out what my answer is?" Ted said, still not budging.

"I am," Shawn answered simply, keeping his face neutral and unresponsive and crossing his arms over his chest. He did not want to betray a decision one way or another until he knew where this man stood. Of course, even if he did answer first, it would be a simple matter to make it seem as if it were a ploy designed to make the other one confess if Ted double-crossed him.

"Ohhh, I could name a few, actually. The Dark Red Dragon Ranger, Star Peacefire, Phillip... and Iron Man once. And some body-stealer guy, and some other people I don't remember." True gestured in the air with a half-eaten slice of pizza. "It's not like I don't understand their point of view. I am a villain after all, but even villains gotta eat. Usually." She punctuated the statement by taking an impolitely large bite of the slice.
After a moment's consideration, she added: "But the main jerk is this red ranger named David. I dislike him, and his morpher refuses to come off. I think everyone named David is like that. You aren't named David, are you?"

*Shawn*
Ted's Medicham looked over to Ted. He's suspicous. The psychic said telepathically.
Ted nodded at the silent comment. "You blame him?" He said aloud. He directed his attention back to the offer he was given. "If you intend to meet this Glenn person, I assure you I will be coming along. Now, do you have some method you want us to go through with for our little escapade?"
*True*
The young man shook his head. "Nope, my name's not David. But you have got my promise that these people will never bother you again."

True frowned as she reached for a fifth slice.
"How do you know? Are you gonna kill 'em or something?"

"You'll be taking the midnight shift in Section B7 tonight. Domino and I have the shift prior," Shawn explained. "I'll send Domino off to file the paperwork from our shift while I stay and debrief you, as is standard operating procedure. After she leaves, Alakazam can take care of transport."
*Silvite*
Jeffery sighed as he stepped out onto the street, shutting the door behind him. Inside, he had just seen Karen to bed and had left her in Epsilon's capable hands to head home, himself. It had been a rather long day, and he was realizing just how much the loss of her teammates still hung on her.
He hated seeing her when she was down in the dumps. It was painful to see the once-cheerful teen he first met suddenly bursting into tears because a subject came up or a location reminded her of something. All his power, and he couldn't bring the dead back to life, but what he wouldn't do to give her back the friends she had lost. Maybe if he had been there the day they died, he could have done something, protected them, given them some cover fire.
It was ironic in a way. They were a group of villains. He was supposed to be a superhero. They should be at blows. In fact, when they first met, they almost were, but the kids - and they were kids then - were so full of hopes and dreams, so full of aspirations, so full of life ... Whatever the dreams, whatever the destination of the life, he would never be able to bring himself to snuff out something so full of ... he couldn't even explain it, but he knew it was what he had always wanted to protect, never destroy. So instead of stopping them, he grew fond of the little rag-tag group, and when he first met up with Karen and Epsilon after some years had passed, he, too, had been hurt when he heard of Heihachi's passing and Ixion's turning.
Sure, they had been up to no good. Sure, they were trying to take over the universe and rule it for themselves. While Heihachi was dead, he had no doubt died honorably, giving his life for his friends. Jeff was as sure as he could be that the samurai would not have wanted to go any other way. But Ixion ... What they had done to Ixion ... twisting him around and turning him into a mockery of what he had been to serve their own ends ... What was worse, that or calling it good? It was nothing but brainwashing and enslavement, and it made the Olympian's blood boil just thinking about it.

*True*
The young man holding the pan shrugged. "If that's what it takes. Or, I can just give you the power to do so yourself."
*Shawn*
Ted nodded. "Alrighty then. That's fair." He stayed in his meditative stance. "Your opinion oin the subject, Medicham?"
If this is a trap, the probability of us defeating the executive Shawn Rae and not being noticed is 10%. The probability of defeating both Domino and Rae is 3%. The probability of this being a trap is approximately... Ted held up a hand to stop Medicham's information flow. "Alright, we've got a deal."
*Silvite*
The sound of footsteps echoed behind Silvite. A faint imgae flickered in and out of sight. The transparent image of a young man Karen's current age approached Jeff. He was dressed in black Japanese clothing, two swords were slung at his side, the weapons showing deep age and use. The man's blonde hair was tied back, a few wisps of a beard were growing on his face.
Silvite, old friend. It's been far too long... The shade echoed, his voice was calm and reassured. He looked upon the superhero with a look of admiration. You've just been with Karen. Please, tell me, how is she faring?

Sixth and counting. True squinted her eyes in an attempt to look sly.
"How much type power are we talkin' 'bout?" She said, not seeming to notice her mounting crimes against the English Language. She considered it one of her more subtle forms of sabotage.

The man rubbed his chin. "This requires a demonstration." He pointed to a tall, abandoned apartment nearby. "You see that building?"

The man nodded. "Right." He held his arm forward and snapped his fingers. Right when they snapped, the building collapsed in on itself as though there was an earthquake. "More than that much power."

Eyes wide, True retreated a step, subconsciously snatching an eighth piece of pizza as she did so.
"Dear Mogg, we'll take it!"
'What? He just teleported the foundation out. Big whoop.'
'Quiet, you.'
