"No problem," Max responded genially, offering to shake his hand. "Maxwell Fueller. I'm afraid we have to be going, though. From the sounds of things, our aid is needed rather urgently."

"Nice to meet you," taking his hand a shaking it politely, "Mind if I help?"

"The more help, the better, sure," he answered, then turned to Nova, "if it's okay with Mr. Nevar, of course."

Nova watched as the instance occurred, where Veros colided with the knight and fell down. It seemed normal, he was lost and that made sense, but to suddenly want to help them, that seemed... sudden.
"Why are you interested in aiding us John? Are you aware of what we are doing?" He questioned, he was suspicious of the newcomer.

"Nah, I just got this feeling... and you guys are the only things with an energy sign--..." Veros says, acting a little embarassed, and with a slight grin on his face, like he was keeping something from them.

(Veros, you and I need to talk, and I advise that it be done before you post any more.)

Valdimar sat back in his chair with an approving sigh and pushed back his now-empty dish; it had been a while since he had any time to sit and enjoy an actual meal, and he had more than enjoyed it. Now, though, he really had to get back to his search.
He stood and brought his few things along with him. He was on his way to walk out the door when a sudden thought occured to him, and he turned to approach Yulgar once more. "Excuse me, mind if I ask a question?"

"Not at all," the large blacksmith answered. "Ask away. Did you get enough to eat?"

(I apologize for the exceptionally long delay. I cut my exposure to a computer over this spring break. I am back and on a normal schedule now. Sorry for holding everyone up.)
Valdimar nodded and reached into his pouch. "Yes, thank you. It was quite enough, and well prepared to boot. Ah, here we go..."
He withdrew two worn pieces of parchment. On each was drawn, in exceptional artistic detail and this not Valdimar's own handiwork, the likenesses of a princely young human male and an plain robed elven female (Igashu and Nevina, respectively). He placed them before Yulgar on the counter. "Well, have you see either of these two? If you have, would you happen to know where they are or where they went?"

He looked them over and nodded. "The miss looks familiar. I think I saw her probably a fortnight ago, came through, spent the night as you did, and headed on north with some group or another. Thought she was something of an adventurer, myself. We get a lot of those through here."

"I see," Valdimar replied. A fortnight; he wasn't too far behind then. But, only her? Maybe his lord had found a way back already? Doubtful; if they knew of a way back, then he was sure the witch would have gone along with him, or he would have stayed with her, whichever way one decided to view the situation.
In any case, he had a clear lead. North. Thus, North is where he would continue his search, if only for another fortnight...
"Thank you for your time and the hospitality," he said as he replaced the pieces of parchment in his pouch. With a nod and a grin, he continued, " If I come back this way, I'll be sure to drop in again." With that, he turned and exited the inn, headed in the only promising direction he had: North.
