(Ha ha, Hawkins has that effect on people.)
(This next part cleared by Red.)
*Streets*
The man just kept walking, but it wasn't long before something else caught his eye. People in shades not unlike his own, but in black suits with wires in their ears. He counted three, no, five, as many as eight behind him, alone. He doubted it was coincidence that, while they did daily things, their movements always followed his. And they were closing in.
No stranger to the urban tactic for rounding up a target, when it looked like they were about ready to make their move, he reached into his trench coat and closed his hand around the handle of his right laser.
"I should warn you," a voice from behind him said in a monotone practiced only by government heavies, "we have five of the world's best snipers and twenty ground units with weapons trained on you at this very moment, Miss Sturiesk. Resistance would not be a wise move."
Hawkins' hand fell away from the gun. Those weren't numbers he wanted to test, even if ... "Eighteen," he answered.
"Excuse me?"
"There's only eighteen ground units. Two went into the coffee shop across the street. They're paying for their coffee, which means their guns aren't trained on me."
The voice behind him chuckled. "Impressive, indeed. Yes, you should be just what we're looking for ..."

(Fun fact: Since 9/11 Pennsylvania Ave. in front of the white house has been completely sealed off to traffic with security checks before you can even get 1000 feet close to the white house entrance. So that limo wouldn't have gotten so close to the white house in real life lol.
There's about 2 snipers 24/7 somewhere in the area, and all the buildings around the white house have security checkpoints.
There's also a woman living outside protesting the war. She lives in a box house, actually lives outside the white house and the CIA have almost more protection around her than around the president. Alright that's all for useless info xD)
*Above Mexico* He took the newspaper and glanced at it.
"Yeah I heard it...I didn't have anything to do with it either, but I'm sure you knew that," he said looking back up at the man.
He tossed the newspaper back at the him, then snorted, "and I wasn't hiding from no one. I was just tired of the smell."

*Above Mexico* "I Never said you did my good sir."
He rolled the newspaper up and tucked it under his blazer again.
"I understand, sometimes you do have to discover a place that reeks worse than yours to realize just how good you had it."
*Decorated Office* "So, this is Miss Sturiesk." Said the vice president, looking over several papers while leaning back in his black leather swivel chair. "You can let her go, I don't think she'll resist." The two agents on both sides of Daniel let her go, moving back to the doorway and closing it.
"Now then." Said the Vice president setting the papers aside and leaning forward. "Why are you here?" He said getting to the point.

Once released, the gunman reached down and pushed something they couldn't see. A moment later, it was not the gunman, but a young woman no older than sixteen with blue hair. She wore a gown that was simple but flattering and the only thing from the outfit before was twin guns of an unknown design on either hip, looking decidedly out of place now.
"With all due respect, Sir Vice President," she answered politely with a curtsey in greeting, "if you know who I am, I must doubt that you do not know why I am here."

*Above Mexico* Barret spoke without turning to the man.
"Trust me, ain't no place that stinks worse than America. Stink from slimy government workers, dirty politicians, police who reek of curruption and a rotting population. I still can't get the stink off me to this day."

*Decorated office* "Well, you're right but I have some highly regarded voice recorders that would like to hear all about them." The vice president adjusted his glasses, sunlight glinting off if his bald head.
*Above Mexico*
"Ha" was all the agent said about that, quickly he moved on "The President wants your protection, if they got the sectary they may be able to get him too."

"You kiddin' me?" Barret looked the man over as if he were trying to figure out if he really was, in fact, kidding.
"I'm not exactly a body guard if you haven't noticed."

"Then perhaps," she answered, still with that diplomatic civility, "you would accommodat a young woman and inform her and your recorders why she was brought here?"

*Decorated Office* The Vice president smiled "Miss Sturiesk, you're here because some of our top secret sensors detected an anomaly some time ago, after further investigation, we found that the anomaly had something to to with time... and your cover Daniel Hawkins." He removed a birth certificate from the stack of papers for Daniel Hawkins. "He isn't as old as you made him look. Now then why use a cover when you knew something like this could happen?"
*Above Mexico* "No I'm not kidding, trust me, we didn't expect you to be a bodyguard, we did expect to do a bit of sharpshooting though, we heard you were pretty decent." He smiled, looking down at his hands.

(Daniel Hawkins already exists, and only as, like, a five year old. Nayra Sturiesk doesn't.)

Barret scratched his chin and made no notice of him looking at his hands.
"Probably."

"I like the name," she answered with a shrug. "Danny Bird just doesn't have the same ring to it."

"Joker, Leader of the Church special forces, The Cards. Dispatched by the church to protect her children countries from harm, such as what is now happening in regards to your president."
Joker stood up at attention, wondering if he was finally going to be let in.

*Joker* "Hmmm, I'll need to talk to the flying Nun before I let you in." The man chuckled at this and continued "It's nice that you can give me lip service, but I'm going to need some paperwork before I can let you any further, either that or you can call one of my higher ups to get permission to come in, barring that, I can't let you in, and if i can't let you in you need to vacate the premises immediately."
*Decorated Office* "Well I suppose that's a reason." Said the vice president, flipping through his planner. He seemed to stop on one item and ask "Tell me, have you been employed as a bodyguard before?"
*Above Texas* "Oh so you're modest now?" The man said still looking down "He's paying fourteen Mil and offering to pardon you for your war crimes."

He opened his wallet, handing him his ID. "If that doesn't work then call the Vatican."
