*Bench near True*
Aden spoke softly, "I don't know what you're talking about."

*Caelus and the voice*
Stopping and looking around for a bit, Caelus ventured forth first with a question.
"Is someone there? I'm looking for a wizard or some sort of magical creature or portal so I can get back to where I was."

*In the Burning Building*
The Skull King fumbled, a bit of light and dark speckling his vision for a few moments, Gen on the other hand was absolutely absorbed by the dangerous situation. She verbally commented on the scene before her, as if narrating it would sort the logic of it, "The setting awkwardly enough possesses a sea-dwelling creature existing amidst a burning building. The cephalopod itself seems to be aggressive though there is a possibility that inconsistent wording could be the cause of its aggravation and thus fear of its foreign environment. The solution is to disable it or in the very least separate the alleged store owner from the creature."
"Oh excellent deduction woman, what did that monologue hope to serve?" was his sardonic reply.
Gen withheld the urge to shoot him a look and instead casually looked over her nails and spoke airily, "It was a summation of the situation, what boggles my mind is why you're still dumbly sitting here, I thought you were one of the more intelligent and critical thinking creatures around here dear assistant."
The Skull King's minute grin immediately accentuated into a look of disgust and loathing, it wasn't the implication of forced fealty that bothered him, no it was the quip she added that was demeaning his intelligence. He straightened up immediately, taking on an air of intense focus and raised his hands to conjure the will to perform his task.
It didn't matter to him that he was playing right into her hands, he just needed some kind of outlet and reeling in that store owner's body was a wonderful way of achieving it. He smirked to himself as a delicious afterthought occurred to him, 'Perhaps he can be used as a pawn after this meager rescue effort is over...just you wait.'

[sorry, but he's got more than two tentacles, you know?] After the boy had spoken, Cadaervec immediately realized what the stomp on the skateboard was for. As the board tumbled through the air, Cadaervec yanked the gloved hand upward and smacked the board away with another of his eight tentacles. "Nice try. I must admit that would've worked if you hadn't have opened your big mouth." (Sorry, but you don't get to do that. You autoed me, so I autoed you. One good turn deserves another. Deal with it. If you don't like it, don't do it. Deleting post.)

*True*
The little girl watched Cadaervec soar away, like watching an airplane overhead. When he passed out of vision, True looked up at the enormous mecha.
"I think I feel really sorry for whoever you stole THAT body from!" Shouted she.

The benchwoman inclined her head with a metal creak. "What do you mean? Is your life so exciting that you don't remember?"
*Caelus and the voice*
The voice stopped singing, and all was silent for a moment, except for the winds in the trees. Then,
"Hello?" Asked the young voice, definitively female. "Are you that awful griffon?"
-
"I assume he's pulling on the shop owner's bones." Said a smooth, male voice behind Gen.
True to the disembodied guess, the sweaty fat man started yelling again, being dragged along the floor by an invisible force, still quite tethered to the invertebrate through weighty and painfully suctional means.

*Caelus and the voice*
Smiling to himself for a second, Caelus continued.
"No, I left him and his wife behind. They were mumbling something about an ice princess....do you think that someone like that could help me get home?"

*Bench-thing near True*
"I might remember," Aden said, getting more casual in tone. "What do you want?"

[Fine, if that's the way you feel.]
Cadaervec calmly flew through the air in a reclined position contemplating what to do. "Hm. He can change into more than just the elemental, eh? That changes things quite a bit, I wonder what I should do now. Oh, well. I suppose I could send a clone to watch over True, so long as he has a better disguise. And I still have a disembodied voice to figure out." He continued to sail without worry of being hurt. "Rin, Cho!"
A few blocks away a boy not much older than Terry appeared in a cloud of smoke. He was dressed in a black hoodie and dark blue jeans with a baseball cap on under his hood to cover his brown hair. He scanned the horizon and immediately ran for where True was last seen.
Cadaervec, satisfied with the clone, did a mid air backflip and stopped himself mid-flight with some help from the natural iron and nickel in the Earth's core. He floated down like a feather to the ground and looked around at his new surroundings.

The towering form of Metal Head decreased until the size of a large human. "I didn't steal any of these forms," it told her in a metallic voice. "They all came with the watch. If you have a problem with that, bring it up with whoever made it."

*Caelus and the voice*
The unseen creature hummed. "No, I don't think so. We're all rather normal in this town."
*Bench-thing near True*
"Don't play coy with me, I'm the bench princess." It huffed. "I just want to borrow you for a little while."
-
His new surroundings were the same as the old ones. Brick buildings, old asphalt, and chipping paint older than most pedestrians.
"I need to discuss something with you." That voice sighed, speaking for the first time in a while. "Have a seat."
*True*
"Oh, it shrinks." True observed, ignoring him. "I guess Mister Roboto didn't have too much trouble adjusting to his new stature, then."

"Metal Head can change his height at will," Terry answered. "He also has a few more powerful tricks up his sleeve. He's perfect for when I need to smash something big."

*Bench Princess & Aden*
"Borrow me?" Aden scoffed, trying to keep himself calm. "I hope you aren't planning to try and break me or possibly kill me. I'm not up for that today, sorry."

"Fascinating." Stressed the child. "How do you steal all those bodies, anyway? Do you just take them when the owner dies?"
*Bench Princess & Aden*
"You do remember!" The Bench Princess chimed. "It's nothing like that this time, don't worry. It's because I know you're mature enough to handle it."

"I'm not one to forget things, you know." admonished Aden, "And would care to explain?"

Cadaervec mused at the voice. "I'll stand. what do you want?"
*True*
The teenager finally rounded the corner where Metal Head and True were. "What was that?!?" He stared at Meatal Head with the fascination ot a kid in a candy store. "Oh! Cool!" He darted over and immediately began to scan the robot as if inspecting a new toy.
