♪ I'd like to be ♪ ♪ Under the sea ♪ ♪ In an octopus's garden in the shade ♪
So, it's been over a month since my last update! Damn. Well, things are still rolling, albeit at a snails pace at some points but that's okay. Things are bound to pick up now that the convergence is upon us. But aside from making it the mermaid equivalent of United Nations meeting, I thought I might do something to spice things up a bit. I never imagined mermaids as being quite as bureaucratic as humans, so odds are there will be feasting and dancing thrown into the mix as well.
All are much more interesting activities to be involved in from an RP standpoint and it says something about mermaid culture.
Also, since it's been so long, sound off! Who's still on board? ^^;

Right on.
Now Terethin, if you want to barge in, I say do it. I'm starting to figure out that some times the best solution is the most dramatic. Instead of Oylandra just waving goodbye to Mairsile and Tassita, you've given us the option of Mukuva intruding on a sensitive discussion and discovering Mairsile safe and sound after "ambassador" Tassita denied ever seeing her. Very tricky stuff.
Plus I feel bad for kind of inadvertently excluding you from what's been going on. =(

I am still very much interested, though I've no clue what to do.
...I can tell you I like Tassita, though. Masks are AWESOME and usually make me love a character. Can Melasine do stuff with Tassita? Just kidding...but that would be cool.

Me, too, but same problem as Kon Ton. We're not quite as aggressive with the main storyline as RPGFO RPers. Very passive, very passive. *nodnod*

Well, if anything, the convergence will give you all a chance to mingle. In the mean time, you might consider making a short "meanwhile" post describing your character's preparations for the event. I.e. Hunting/Gathering food for the banquet or just reflecting on the significance of it all.
Flower will also be able to pitch in and give some of you a character to chat with. It depends on how long Tassita will be chatting with Oylandra and Mairsile, but True, we might have Flower paying the Moon Scale matriarch a visit like you wanted. And if that runs into over time, Mairsile can spent some time getting to know Tassita as they gradually make their way over to the ceremony together. Oylandra will not be attending.
Thanks for the update, every one. And thanks for the complements on Tassita! (^^)

Hehe why not, It'll fun to try and talk my way out of it. And if push comes to shove I can always run like a .... well, run away fast.
I have a couple questions though, Would I be able to see Marisle if I swam from above? And if not, would I be able to just happen by them, or would I have been stopped by guards much before then.

Well, the situation could be alot like marching up to you neighbor's door and asking for a cup of sugar, but instead of having to knock or ask at all the cup you're after is sitting right on the front porch. Or maybe a bit like a UN inspection.
What I'm trying to say is that Sea Fire, perhaps the only clan able to compete with Dark Fathom in terms of muscle and ferocity, has become fed up with their lack of transparency or willingness to help search for a missing mermaid, which it's self is a miniature crisis. Given how few mermaids are left, everyone of them is considered precious.
So, in an exorcise of "big stick" diplomacy, Mokuva's troop goes looking for answers and they don't have to look very far. Am I still rambling?
Well, in short, you just bump into them, and it's there that the guards will throw a hissy fit and want to scalp you. Oylandra however will be there to smooth things over.

Sorry for being gone so long, domestic strife. Cousin on the border of prison and uncle i'm staying with is spitting up with his wife. All good fun in Springfield -.-. Well i'll try posting a response later today, I want to put a bit of thought into it.

I might be putting to much thought into it, But I just can't think of a believable way for Mokuva to just stumble upon The conflict without meeting any other clans members first, And wouldn't they try to hide the fact that Marisle is in the Village? I'd think they'd have tight security.
