Alright everyone, I wasn't sure whether to start a new thread or not, but here we go! I'm currently in Salzburg, Austria. Tomorrow we go to Vienna, then on to Prague.
Day 1 consisted of the plane ride and the ride to the hotel. Fun? 'Twas an awful long day...or two...We switched planes in Amsterdam, got delayed for like an hour and a half. Ich! My group didn't get to go to Munich, as Group 1 had already gone by the time we got to Munich airport. So we went straight to Salzburg...then sleep.
Day 2 was a walking tour of the city. Gorgeous. It was Palm Sunday, so we didn't enter any churches, but wonderful nevertheless. The Alps overlooking the city are beautiful...The city itself is a masteriece. I'll put up pictures when I get back. Lots of amazing fountains and stuff, and an absolutely stunning cemetary. I never thought cemeteries could be so...pretty. Or decorative. If I remember correctly, it's the oldest one in Austria...There are churches slash chapels in the rock! Catacombs...We didnät get to go in because ti was Sunday. Awww.
Later we drove to Bad-Ischl. Stunning church. Freezing cold though. We had a concert that night after mass...It went wonderfully. The people used a word to describe our two groups that means 'godlike' in English. According to the German cello player in our orchestra, that's really good. We ruined a tuba though, earlier during rehearsal...@_@ It was brand new...And apparently 5000 dollars...Ouch for the girl who knocked it over.
Day 3 started off with a Sound of Music tour through the countryside. Pretty, but uneventful. We came back to Salzburg and had free time, which my dad and I used pretty well...We went and got me a dress from H&M (in Europe! Gasp!), then went to see the giant catehdral we hadn't been able to enter the day before. It was huge. It's also the most beautiful building I've EVER seen. Amazing, amazing...
Later we visited the salt mines. Eh...that was okay. We returned to Salzburg, and after dinner returned to the hotel. Now I'm here in a net cafe while my dad is out eating kebabs. We're getting tired of having schnitzel every night...xD Hopefully more of variety of foods will come later! So far we've only been able to choose lunch ourselves...
And that's the report for now! I have lots of pictures to show you guys when I get back. Keep watching for (hopefuly) more on KT's Trip to Europe!

Salt mines... Austria... did you see some Chapel of Bones thing? I remember seeing something about it in a Rick Steve's video. They had hundreds of decorated skulls and such. The place was near a salt mine. Didn't you get to ride the carts down the levels of the mine?

I knew she wouldnt have time, but she told me other wise. Oh well, this is what I expected. I'm stupid for hoping otherwise.
