"Apparently, " He turned to Star before replying to the previous statement."That mask is what maintains his possesion of that humanoid, he's obviously demon. As for you," He turned to the girl in front of him." It's actually Plains, not Flames. I'm afraid that I'm not familiar with where you're from either." He scratched his chin.

Somewhere around the time the bone demon chose to begin to scratch his chin, a dark skinned man with a well kept ponytail fell out of a portal appearing nearby, his clothing rather torn up; it was revealed that he was wearing a pair of apparently tough leather pants, and a simple looking shirt, made of the same materials; the arrows had mostly destroyed the shirt, with an arrow pinned to him at the left shoulder; a red splotch showed that it had drawn some blood, though its size indicated that it wasn't really serious. The wound was evidently a few hours old, as the splotch had obviously had time to spread out and dry; the sweat marking Obadiah's face and saturating his clothing, along with some of the woodland shrubbery attached to his clothing made it quite apparent that he had been pursued, and for a long time. The accompanying heavy breathing made it quite apparent that he was still being pursued when he fell through.
As he began to get up he took a sharp breath in, closing his eyes as he removed the bolt from his shoulder with a grunt; his shirt had loosened the impact a fair bit, though it had still penetrated, and judging by the sharp inhalation following the grunt, a fair bit. But, before Obadiah could have time to lick his wounds a bit more, he opened his eyes and looked around. Judging by the darting motions his eyes were making, he had no idea what was going on, nor did he know where he was.
His head beginning to mimic the motions of his eyes, his uninjured arm quickly moved, unsheathing the zweihander, using the time the motion took to switch it to a sabre, which was easier for Obadiah to handle one-handed.
Getting into a defensive stance, he began to spin around, doing his best to assess all the threats and keep as many of these strangers in his sights as was possible, exclaiming "What trickery is this!? What is this place, and why have I been brought here? "
He was having a bad day.

As the sword came from Obadiah's sheath so too did Zulon's sword come from his, the words to a fireball spell already spoken, it smoldering in his right hand, and by the time Obadiah had spoken, so too was Zulon in a stance. His was different however, he still remained crouched down, his left foot out front, but his sword was pointed at the newcomer ready to attack, while his right hand, holding the flaming ball just inches from his palm, was cocked back ready to throw. It was a reflex, born into him from centuries of combat and backstabbing, and treachery in the shadows.

The pink-haired girl stepped between the two of them immediately. "Hold it, hold it, hold it!" she shouted. "There's no need to be fighting! Everybody just calm down!"

Toriji turned away from the girl "Excuse me, but I have something to attend to." He walked up slowly to the man as unthreatening as possible. "Now relax, sir, there is no need to be in such a panic. It seems you have a wound, would you care for me to heal it?" He reached out his hand to show he meant well.

Growling, Obadiah let the man approach, though by no means did he relax. "I would recommend you drop the sword, fool. I have no fear of wizards, and I see no reason to fear one such as you."

Star faced Obadiah, focusing her attention on him. "Calm down," she repeated. "We're allies here. No one will attack you if you don't start something first. You have my word. Now, do your injuries require treatment or not?"

"Oh, great, crazy witch burner..." The young woman said in mock enthusiasm. "And I bet as soon as he figures out I'm a vampi-" The girl froze, staring back at the others. "....I've... said enough."

(To GB: Who she call witch burner?)
IC:
The fireball doubled in size as anger rushed through Zulon. " I warn you, human, I'll do more than any wizard could ever conceive." His voice was again dark and had the distinct sound of a demon's. The eyes behind the mask showed true red as he looked over Obadiah, searching for any signs of an attempt to attack.

(Obadiah. He seems to dislike wizards and the like, so it'd be a logical jum for her.)

"You be quiet, too!" Star wheeled on him, raising her voice. "You're not helping matters any!"

Zulon reversed his sword in his hand so that it would not be pointed at Star, yet he could wield it like that, with the same intensity. " Handle him first. I don't want to alongside someone who's scared when he first enters a portal and sees people ... but then again, he is human." He said wickedly, taunting the man.

The pink-haired girl narrowed her eyes in annoyance. "So am I, genius ..."

" No, you're chosen one of heaven, not human." Zulon corrected her. " You may have been born a normal human, but your no longer one...are you?"
