AKA: Legendary Pokemon are for bedwetters. I'm hyped as hell, and ready to pick up my copy of Pokemon Diamond. New pokemon, evolutions of some of my favorites, and a more strategic battle system will make this ridiculusly fun. I hope to see you all packing wifi capability so I can show you up. Also, this has been sittin on mah HDD for awhile, and floating around in your sigs, so I'll post my own.

Indeed. I saw all the new pokemon a week or so after the game came out... I'm looking foreward to the new Gardavuair Alternate Evolution ( A Fighting Psychic) And the Dusclops Evoltion ( Which will probobly replace my umbreon on my competitive team, as it serves the same purpose but is strictly better)
Sadly the new starters are getting uglier and stupider looking with each generation, but the grass one is so powerful this time I might actually train it, unlike abandoning my starter as I do in most ruby and gold games.
There was a large hoax before the game came out of a group of fighting, psychic and dark starters, but they turned out to be fake... it would have been awesome if they were real.

I really, really, need a DS.
Hell, I really, really need a GBA... but with the DS, who needs a GBA?
But anyway, I've been anticipating this for a WHILE now. I'm thinking about using some of my money I was supposed to use to buy my new computer on a DS and this.

I would suggest it. For a hundred bucks you could probobly get a used Phat DS and Pokemon Pearl ( sans tax, of course)
Used copies of Ruby and Saphhire are probobly 5 dollars, fire red and leaf green are probobly 10, and emerald is probobly 15. Not that you want to worry about the GBA generation right away, but you'll be able to transfer teams off of the pokemon in that game when its in the GBA slot of the DS, and some pokemon only appear in the wild when you have a certian gba game plugged in.

Game came out today! So far I have Turtwig ( The Grass starter) and Shinx ( A three stage physical electric type) ... I might train the new bird bugger or an Abra. I havent decided yet.
Edit: I've beaten the game now, using Lucario, Torterra, Alakazam, Weavile, Garchomp, and Tyranitar
I trained a Rampardos for a good portion but ditched it when TTar became available. Now I'm done with the game and my team is just TTar and Lucario, and a PorygonZ I'm training. I know just what I'm going to do for my other pokes though.
Anyone around intrested in link battling? With no Ubers, mindja

I would be interested in battleing, but I have a slight problem of a WiFi connection. If everything goes well, I should be able to reach a WiFi area this summer though, if your still interested in the battle, and I can assure you that no legendaries will come with me. As for what was my main team, Rapidash, Lucario, Girafarig, Empoleon, and Luxray, but now that I've beat the Elite Four it's changed to being only a Lucario, Gallade, and a soon to be Gardevoir.

Yeah, I already have all of them transfered up, but it's just taking some time to train them. It would seem after defeating the Elite Four I became completely distracted with training them up, so I've yet to even explore the battle tower or so. Though I am curious to know where you resurrected your Rampardos, I have two fossils, but no clue as to where to actually work with them.

I did the same thing. The first thing I did after beating the elite four is finish training my weavile... then start training porygon Z.
Theres a museum in Orborough ( sp?) Town where they'll resseruct fossils

Alright thanks. My original plan was for the party on the card, but now that I've obtained a Reaper's cloth to evolve Dusclops that could be hard to make... Oh well, things can be changed.

I'm training a Dusknoir myself... I always loved Duskull ( hated Dusclops) and my current 3 pokemon are all weak to fighting, so he fits in perfectly as a pokemon I like that counters a weakness.

Duskull and Dusclops were both alright to me, and now that they have an evolution that seems pretty good the whole line looks great. As for my team, I really should pay attention to weaknesses and such when forming one, but I have a tendency to lean towards one or more similiar types instead of forming a balanced team, as you can probably tell from my trainer card with most of them being fighting types. As it stands though, I'll probably also try and raise a Dusknoir, with a Lucario, and I think I'm going to leave Gallade as well. I'm considering a Flygon to join them as well, but I'm probably going to leave my trainer card alone until I can finally stick with a team for a while...

With eight badges my pokemon are: Lucario, Lugia, Luxray, Empoleon, Mew, and Dialga.
I'm on my way to pwning the Elite Four, ^_^.

I don't know about that, to me the Elite Four seemed harder than they were in the past games, but then again...Dialga, Mew, and Lugia should give you an advantage. I just hope you don't plan to battle people on Wi-Fi with them. Personally, I consider them handicaps, and actually released my Dialga, allowed the three psychics to escape since I only needed them for Pokedex. So now the only legendaries I have are Giratina, and Manaphy. Giratina, I'll probably release within the next few days, and Manaphy was simply too hard to obtain to release, not to mention I actually do want Fione.
In any case, I'll stop ranting. Good luck against the league.
