What do you think of the Fire Emblem series, personally my favorite is Sacred Stones, which is 7? I think... My favorite character other then the secret character Lyon is Colm, and Colm's stats are more, well insane then they should be, but kinda expected with more then 999 hours on the game time XD! Cause of Angelic Robes, and other items, pretty much all my normally used characters are max level with max stats XD! Colm the uber Assassin of critically effing you up XD! INSTANT DEATH! >> Gaiden, on the other hand, I'm not too far in, just got to story two yesterday but so far its almost as good as SS.

Sacred Stones is 8. I never heard of Gaiden. Which one is that one?
I personally am starting to like Sacred Stones over Path of Radiance. Lute >>> Soren. The only sucky thing is leveling up my priest and my cleric. That is a REAL pain in the butt... and sometimes, for some reason, I can't get my healers over to injured characters fast enough. Luckily now, I have Lute as a Sage, so, that should probably help me a bit.
I personally like Eirika over Ephraim, but that's my thing.
As for Path of Radiance, FE9... I liked it. The mages/sages had some nice dodging ability, and the priest/bishop was awesome. Mist was definitely worth training, 'cause as a Valkyrie, she pwn'd. Give her the rune sword, Ashera's staff, Physic, and Silence, and you've got a big wreckingball for the enemies.
Rolf with Deadeye was practically god on a stick. Inhumane accuracy, inhumane crit ratio, ESPICIALY with the killer bow. It was a pity I couldn't fit wrath and deadeye onto him.
Those are the only two I've played. My friend's played most of them and he said that FE4 is the best. I have yet to play it.

Gaiden is 2 I believe... Its also for the old school nintendo systems. I actually like Ephraim more, although every time I play him, he has more armor and strength but less resistance and speed. Lute is one of the stronger mages, personally, if you're lucky, I think Ewan can be better. As far as archers go, I prefer Neimi, she capped Speed before level 20, and all other stats were pretty good, plus she gets boosts from Colm. Her stats before I upgraded her were 12, 17, 20, 19, 20, 6... (She got a few boosts to defense)

I prefer Blazing swords the best, Path of radiance is awesome, but sacred stones, i didnt like much, i still play it, and yes FE4 is the best, but FE5 is the toughest.
Blazing swords can be be a real pain in the ass, especially when it comes to leveling up clerics and troubadors and that damned level 5 mage you get 5 chapters before the end of the game, Nino is her name, and PWNAGE is her game, she is a bitch to train, but she is definitely one of the best characters (probably the best magic wielder next to athos).
AS for path of radiance, i didnt find mist worth using, i found sothe more useful. in fact i found sothe more useful than volke!!! Astrid, oscar, taureneo, and nephenee, are awesome, titania sucks. I dont like largo, worst berserker ever, and boyd, i love him, and rolf, dont get me started on him, hes awesome. Mia, Zihark, and stefan, are the best sword masters ever, haar and elincia come in handy. Rhys, soren, ilyana, tormod are my magic wielders. I care not for laguz. the only ones i use are lethe, ranulf, janaff, nasir, and tibarn. Ashnard is the best character in the trial maps, litterally invincibe!!!!!
In sacred stones, I use Gilliam, Amelia (Generals), Ross (berserker), Gerik (hero), Neimi (ranger), Joshua (swordmaster), Colm (assassin), Marisa (assassin and favorite character), cormag (wyvern lord), vanessa (falcoknight), Lute (sage), Artur, moulder, natasha (all bishops), l'arachel (valkyrie), Ewan (druid), and Knoll (summoner), And i prefer Eirika over ephraim, ephraims stats go up quicker, which makes him good for the story line, but the creature campaign Eirika is better, as her max stats are much higher, and the improvement items easy to come acroos in the campaign.
For those who haven't noticed the character in my sig is actually an edited pic of marisa.

I just beat Sacred Stones. Eirika and Ephraim, as usual, hung in the back while my party decimated the enemy. My charcters were as follows.
Ewan (druid), Knoll (summoner), Lute (sage... I keep calling her goddess, 'cause she is AWESOME... not even the final boss really did much to her), Amelia (General), Natasha (Valkyrie), that annoying princess (Mage Knight)...
I had more, but I can't remember. I had another sage, a sniper, a ranger, and a dancer. Those, with Eirika, were my best of SS. Lute's stats totally pwned the final boss. 2 hits of, like, 20-something damage? Plus, she only took about 30 damage per hit, and the demon king only had about 80% accuracy.
Funny story about this battle. Ephraim had my only Physic staff (with one use left) for some reason. He was on the stairs below the final boss. The only person I knew for sure that could use the staff was on the stairs to the left of the final boss. Lute had just gotten hit by an attack, and I knew she couldn't survive another. I had the dancer replenish Ephraim to make another move (she just luckily happened to be within range). Then, I had my Mage Knight run down to him, take the staff, and use it... which healed Lute. I was like, "OMG, SAVED!"
Yeah, this was better than PoR... well, it would've been, if it wasn't so gol-darned easy.

Nino is her name, and PWNAGE is her game, she is a bitch to train, but she is definitely one of the best characters (probably the best magic wielder next to athos). Ugh, a Nino fan..... Anyway, I've played 7, 8, and a bit of 9. I'd have to say I like them all equally, but 9 has poor replay value.

To me, all of them have virturally no replay value... but then again, I haven't played 7... but if it's anything like 8 and 9, I'm gonna have a feeling it has no replay value either.
I didn't even do the Creature Campaign in 8. When I beat a game, I've beat a game... I don't feel like continuing it. I'm gonna start FE7 sometime soon.

Well, it's the endings you can get. Depending on how much characters like each other, they may get a special ending. Plus it's fun to see the supports. Nine had none of this.

So far Fire emblems 7, 8, and 9 are the ones I've played. Seven was probably my favorite, my two favorite characters being Pent and Karal. My team usually consists of them, and various others. Eight was also fun, but it wasn't as challenging as seven, in my opinion. Nine though, was kind of disappointing since there wasn't any support endings. Lethe, or whoever Ike supported with saying one different line at the end doesn't count as a support ending. Besides for that, nine was actually a really good game, but I usually replay for the support conversations, so yeah.

Anyway, I've played 7, 8, and a bit of 9. I'd have to say I like them all equally, but 9 has poor replay value. Nino >athos Nino decimates all the characters, except the dragon because their are only 4 divine weapns and 3 of them are preffered. i can still defeat the dragon by attacking only with nino though. and reiko, no offense but pent isnt much. in terms of just how cool they are and personality he's my second favorite, next to lyn, seriously, pent strugles against erk, and erk struggles to get near nino. and that actually says alot for nino, cuz pent is still pretty good, especially for a prepromote. athos vs Nino is a good fight, but nino wins in the end. but when it comes down to lord Elidork is still the best character in the game.... alas..... Oh and veros has played FE2, so for people who say Eirkika and Ephraim are the worst lords ever, ask veros how alm and celia are, generally the lordssuck ass, until they get the divine weapons. lief is really the first one who can handle themself. but he's still no match for hector.Celice of FE4, is okay, until he gets his divine weapon which puts ragnall to shame.

^ has a point, lol, the pegasus knight you get was better then the lords, I mean, it did have better stats lol, atleast at levels 3-9... Celia was better then Alm, cause she had ranged attacks, and wasn't in the fray as often... Shockingly, I had a wizard with a natural 13 defense, while Alm had 11 with the leather shield! And the wizard was level 4 and Alm was level 9, too. lol... Lords do suck in that game, but its still fun lol, its not like with some of them, where you can solo the final boss with only your lord dealing the damage.

I got FE1, Gaiden, Both parts of 3 ("Dark dragon and sword of light" and "mystery of the emblem"), Geneaology of the holy war (ancestral crusade), Thracia 776, Sealed sword, blazing sword, sacred stones, path of radiance, and im getting goddess of dawn. But i havent played all of them yet. And for those who think Nino and lute are good, wait till you see Heather, shes good in terms of combat and body*whistles* wait, did i type that *coughcoughcough* any way but she could use elfire and own Nino and lute at the same time while they use Excalibur, and soren using Rexcalibur (im not kidding its really called rexcalibur). any way so yah

As a sidenote, to my understanding Heather is a Rouge so she probably won't be able to use magic, but instead daggers. Overall, the game looks to be great with the third-tier evolutions and such, and some returning characters from Path of Radiance.
