Alright, to my knowledge, we've NEVER had an RP like this! Wild West! But there's a catch! (Isn't there always?) This isn't the original Wild West. No, this is actually in the future! A century ago, after human development came to a point where it threatened the continuation of the planet's life, everything involving electricity was abandoned, returning the culture to that of the old west. Guns are even back to revolvers and ranchers are the primary business owners.
But what happens when somebody attacks with the weapons of the past? Will the reversed culture survive, or will it be wiped out? Come and find out!
Some of the cast (Primary NPCs only):
The Mayor: A rotund, cowardly man that bends easily to pressure. He constantly is wiping off his sweaty palms and is always nervous about decision-making. Rumor has it that he is under threats.
The Sherriff: An honest, determined man that is a childhood friend of the mayor. He's always there to reinforce the mayor and push for decisive action. He doesn't tolerate injustice, but there's some stories that he wasn't always a lawman, stories quickly followed by a quick-draw reputation that makes people who hear them want to stay in line just to stay out of his way.
The Teacher: An elderly woman that loves children dearly and seems to be an excellent source of knowledge, as if she's memorized all of the textbooks in her small schoolhouse. Some say she's so old, she remembers the days before technology was villainized, but when her students ask this, she just laughs it off and tells them that no one is that old.
The Pastor: A man looking to just be entering middle-age. He is the town's spiritual counsel and manages the church business. He knows his verses in and out, and hardly anyone can remember a day he wasn't there to listen to anything anyone wanted to say. Even this man of the cloth has stories circulating around him, however, things saying that despite his passive nature, he's actually quite skilled in a fight, and unlike the others, this one actually has some backing, as many times in his line of work, a fight must be broken up before peace can be sewn.
