Name: H.A.C.S.
Age: N/A/Mid to late teens
Gender: N/A/Female
Race: Android/Human
Alignment: True Neutral/Chaotic Neutral
Power Level: High-tier High (9)/Low-tier Low (1)
Timeline: Modern
Appearance: A hulking white man standing incredibly tall and dressed in casual wear under a large trenchcoat. Never seen without sunglasses to conceal the glowing red eyes.
A fragile teenage girl maybe five foot four inches tall with pale violet hair and china doll white skin, usually wearing whatever she can find.
Personality: It has no personality, it has no heart, it has no soul, and it has no mind. It only has the mission.
She is an emotional train wreck, trying to define all of the sudden "system errors" through logic that no longer seems to apply and is heavily dependent upon others because of her inability to cope with biological matters like emotions, pain, cold or even hunger. Because she has no knowledge on how to cope with emotions, she tends to feel them very strongly, causing sudden mood swings only intensified with her own confusion of what is happening.
History: A H.A.C.S. unit was once deployed to hunt down the mighty Master Link Hunter. It tracked him to a plateau over ancient springs in China and engaged him in combat. The two battled fiercely, Hunter's powerful energy battering against the golem's impenetrable shell as its fists hammered back until the ground, itself, could no longer support the rage of their battle.
The edge of the plateau collapsed beneath them, sending them plummeting toward the waters below, and still, they battled, as if the laws of Nature, herself, would not interrupt them. The mechanical golem had just seemed to gain the upper hand, jackhammering the alien into the spring directly below them, when it, too, crashed into it in a massive splash.
First one person emerged, a female Link Hunter who seemed, save a split lip, otherwise okay and didn't seem to notice any difference. It would seem there was nothing to be seen of H.A.C.S., but a floundering in the spring interrupted any survey the hero might have done as a girl had just broken the surface, struggling to keep her head above the water and failing miserably.
The springs, as they soon realized, were cursed, each one bearing a different one based on someone who had once drowned in them. Their particular one had been the site of the death of a girl many centuries ago. The one way to reverse the transformation seemed to be warm water, but as the android found out soon after, cold water just activated it again ...
Powers: Standard H.A.C.S. unit abilities while an android. No abilities while human, unless one considers the capacity for thought and emotion a power.
Equipment: Standard H.A.C.S. unit equipment while an android. No equipment while human.
Weakness: This sole H.A.C.S. unit has a glaring weakness. Cold water, whether through immersion, shower or a la bucket, immediately changes it into its cursed human form.
If in android form, any damage sustained must be repaired. It cannot heal on its own.
If in human form, any damage sustained must be given time to heal. She cannot be repaired outside of medical care.
