Name: Joshua Johnson
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alignment: Lawful Good
Power Level: High Tier Low out of jet, Low Tier High inside.
Timeline: Futuristic
Appearance:
Joshua: Joshua usually just wears the shirt, and the belt only carries the holster.
His piloting uniform is a dullish gray.
F-125 Interceptor:
Personality: Most people would say that he's mostly an amiable fellow; he's not particularly aggressive. They would also say that he's got something of an acid tongue; unless he has a heck of a reason not to, he'll say what he means and he won't sugarcoat it.
History: Joshua was born into a military family; they had all made their livings and lived their lives as generals, soldiers, sailors, and pilots in Man's military, and Joshua was no different. From a young age, he was taught in strategy, with his introduction being through the game of chess; when playing, observers and he himself described his strategy as odd. Johnson didn't play to win; rather, he played so as not to lose.
When he came into his adolescence, they subtly(at least they thought so) began to screen him to see where he would go.
During their screening for Man's Marine Corps, he proved, that, while capable, he was overaggressive, often gambling the mission on one move; it was a good thing they screened him with simulations disguised as video games.
Their screening for Man's Navy proved that he wasn't patient enough for Navy life; he had a habit of advancing too far into enemy territory, often causing battles and skirmishes that had no need to be caused; again, he was still capable, just too aggressive.
The screening for possible admittance as a general of Man's armies was a bit more productive, though he ultimately showed a bit of a deficiency as a strategy maker. While under pressure he could make good tactical deductions and could predict ambushes very quickly, here he proved too passive; he preferred to let the enemy come to him and simply use clever tricks to isolate and exterminate them as they came; while this could be effective, it tended to cause battles to become more drawn out than they might otherwise need to be; these were conducted by allowing him to sit in and comment during strategy meetings. A fair amount of his commonly seen ambushing and defensive strategies have actually come into use by Man's current generals.
The screening for enlistment into Man's Air Force proved most successful, as he showed a knack for flying, and was a pretty skilled dogfighter. These were also conducted as simulations.
So, as expected, on his 18th birthday he applied and was accepted into Man's Air Force, and, after completing their training course, began his career piloting the F-123 and made his way through the ranks piloting the machine. About 2 years ago he completed an application to be transferred to piloting the F-124, and, after completing the requisite training course, began piloting the machine.
Occupation: Major in Man's Air Force
Powers: He's pretty normal; he's a fair marksman with his pistol, and he's in good shape and trained in CQC, specifically a style almost identical to the U.S. Marine Corps Martial Arts Program.
He also tends to sneeze when people talk about him.
Equipment: He carries an M9A1 equipped with visible laser sights in a side holster; beyond that he doesn't have anything except for a pair of gloves suited to piloting and driving; he's also got his aircraft, the F-124.
Weakness: He's a pretty normal human, so he can be beaten up, stabbed, starved, dehydrated, shot, exploded, poisoned, eaten, maimed, mutilated, and all sorts of nasty things.

Name: F-124 Interceptor
Age: The aircraft is a 5 year old design; Joshua's has been in service for about 2 years.
Gender: None
Race: None
Alignment: See Joshua's alignment
Power Level: 7
Timeline: Futuristic
Appearance:
Personality: None, but Joshua's a pretty aggressive pilot.
History: The F-124 was the result of Man's observations on the Sonic Sparrow and the F-123. The decision was that the F-123, while capable, wasn't as capable in air-air combat as it needed to be. So they commissioned the building of the F-124, using the Sonic Sparrow as inspiration, as it was well suited to air-air combat. After several failed attempts to replicate the Sonic Cannon, they settled for going with machine guns, gatling guns, and a laser cannon. They also added a payload of micro missiles, as they could travel through the air faster, and, as aircraft were naturally more fragile targets, could remain effective in use against them. Due to the nature of the design, while it was possible to field the design in large numbers, it wasn't effective at all when used as a bomber, so it never grew to replace the F-123 by any stretch of the imagination.
Powers: As the F-124 was inspired by the Sonic Sparrow it was meant to function as a high speed interceptor and air superiority fighter. As an air superiority fighter, it is equipped with high performance afterburning turbofan engines and has high maneuverability, as the engines allow thrust vectoring and the aircraft itself is light to begin with. It also has a high combat ceiling and can move a little faster than the F-123, though it's a lot more nimble than its hulk of a cousin. It also retains the F-123's VTOL capabilities.
Armament:
Above the nose there is mounted a single laser cannon; it fires pretty slowly, at only about a rate of 2 shots per second, but is able to turret around; it uses an automated system or a technician for this; the technician does not have to be inside the aircraft to operate the system. The system is also made to have failsafes in order to keep the pilot from blowing itself up.
Machine Guns x2:On the wings and near the laser cannon lie two machine guns; they're a bit smallish, but they make it up in the fact that they can put out large amounts of shells. Attempts to mount gatling guns there proved to unbalance the craft, so machine guns were used instead.
Gatling Guns x2:Also on the wings, but mounted on their underside and farther away from the laser cannons are dual gatling guns. While they're larger than the machine guns, they're not as big as the gats on the F-123, as attempts to put guns of that size on the F-124 proved just as futile as before, as the aircraft could not handle that much weight on its outer wings, and simply couldn't fly. They're just as dangerous as the machine guns, if not moreso because they put bigger bullets into the air.
Micro Missiles: In the belly of the ship lie a fair sized payload of micro missiles, specially designed to be tenacious heat seekers, refusing to let go of a target until the missile's been shot down or has made contact.
Anti-missile machine guns x3: Mounted on the tail and away from the engines are 3 small machine guns mounted on turrets, meant to serve as anti-missile defense. These can also be operated by an automated defense system or a technician.
Weakness: The F-124 was meant primarily to engage air targets, so it is unsuited to bombing and defending itself againt ground-based anti-air units.

To all others looking to join the Goddess of Battle rp; the F-124 aircraft was meant to be generic, so feel free to use it. Just know; it doesn't have a modular weapons loadout. The bomber spec died in a paper shredder and was recycled, where it now rests as part of a newspaper somewhere.
