Name: Greg Matthews
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Species: Human
Timeline: Modern
Allignment: Lawful Good
Appearance: Physically, Greg looks a bit younger than he really does. He wears black jeans with frayed ends and a dark red t-shirt. He wears a burgandy cowbow hat and carries a dark blue backpack over his left shouder. The pokeballs containing Lucario and Charmander are attached to the belt holding up his jeans.
Personality: Greg can easily get worked up, and while he is energetic, he does have confidence issues. Despite his underconfidence, he's surprisingly presistant, and can bounce back quickly from a sore loss. He typically accepts defeat gracefully, but he can be a sore loser if he really gets his hopes up on a match. He's clever, but unorthodox.
History: Greg is a young man from Floaroma Town in Sinnoh. His parents were both gardeners and florists, and while the boy grew up with a respect for plantlife and the hard work involved in gardening, he had more of a passion for pokemon and raising animals. He had found an abandoned pokemon egg as a small child, and with some urging, his parents allowed him to keep it. The egg soon hatched into a Riolu, and the two soon became inseperable childhood friends. Eventually Greg's parents urged him to set out and become a real pokemon trainer. Greg and Riolu immediately set out for Eterna City. Much to the shock of the beginning trainer, the trust Riolu had in him was immense, and in a few short brawls, the pokemon had evolved into Lucario.
Greg has only one badge, the Eterna City one. It was earned with the assistance of Charmander, who Greg had captured while training at the base of Mt. Coronet. After winning one badge, Greg has thirsted to seek out more gyms and gather more.
Pokemon:
Lucario
Male
Steel/Fighting
Bio: Despite being a second tier pokemon that is typically regarded as a powerful force, Lucario has the same confidence issues as his trainer. Nonetheless, he's eager to impress and doubly eager to improve. Despite his pride in evolving quickly, he's ashamed of his weakness.
Charmander
Male
Fire
Bio: Despite his cute appearance, Charmander is a violent contender with some serious bloodthirst issues. He lives to fight, and oftentimes exercises overkill to the extreme. He's fiercely loyal, and only takes orders from Greg, no matter how much more experienced the other trainer is. His ultimate goal is to evolve to his final stage, and he contantly urges Lucario to improve along with him.
Weapons: None
Weaknesses: Without his pokemon, he's around mid-tier low. He's an inexperienced trainer, and while he has potential, it means little in the face of a pro.
