Name: Julia Gillam
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alignment: Lawful Good
Timeline: Modern
Appearance: Julia dresses in a gothic style. Her hair has been dyed black, braided to her left side and decorated with white bows. She wears a short black dress with a white, lacy trim. She wears leather boots that go up to her knees and black rimmed glasses that are shoved up high on her nose. She wears black nail polish, but has no makeup on her face, claiming that she thinks it's "icky".
Personality: Despite her gothic look, Julia is extremely upbeat, optimistic and cheerful. She always has a smile on her face and is
easy to make friends with. She's a very doting and caring person.
However, she is extremely devious and deceptively dangerous during battles. She's quite calculating, and is completely befitting for the title of Gym Leader. She has some extremely bizarre tastes, as well, considering how her outfit clashes with her personality. Her odd mannerisms are also conveyed in how she believes ferocious and terrifying pokemon like Gyrados and Tyranitar are "adorable and cute".
History: (Pending)
Powers: Amazingly good at training pokemon, and is capable of accurately gauging an opponent's experience and skill.
Pokemon:
In Official Matches:
Honchkrow
Dark/Flying
Male
Bio: Julia's first pokemon. Honchkrow is still rather lazy and bitter. However, he's a hard worker when he builds up the ambition, and when he actually does start something, he makes sure to finish it.
Houndoom
Dark/Fire
Male
Bio: Houndoom is very territorial and loyal. He displays the valued canine attributes of bravery and steadfast determination. Like many of the team, he views Julia as a mother, and goes through everything to please her and protect her. He's an honourable fighter, and makes sure to keep the rowdier members in line.
Tyranitar
Rock/Dark
Male
Bio: One of Julia's first pokemon. He was caught as a Larvitar, and Julia actually made sure to start training him to counter the inevietable weakness he would have against fighting pokemon. Tyranitar is one of the most battle ready pokemon Julia has, and revels in every violent moment he can see.
Cacturne
Dark/Grass
Male
Bio: Cacturne claims to be a naturalist. He's a bit of a researcher at heart and investigates every little thing equally with invigorating gusto. This can be distracting, though, as he sometimes gets more interested in exploring than fighting.
Absol
Dark
Female
Bio: Absol was one of Julia's later pokemon. She seems detatched and morbid, and for one reason or another, only quotes lines from the Shakespearean play Macbeth, though only other pokemon know that. When not fighting, she keeps her movement to a minimum, almost being mistaken for a statue.
Weavile
Dark/Ice
Female
Bio: Weavile is mellow and relaxed. She rarely shows a temper and is quite carefree and lax. Despite that, she has a competitive spirit that burns brightly. When she sees a challange, she tackles it head on.
On the Road:
Gyrados
Water/Flying
Male
Bio: A childhood dream come true, Gyrados was Julia's favourite pokemon as a little girl. She found an ill Magikarp, and despite Sven's fears of her forcing it to evolve, she treated it with the utmost care and affection. As a result, when the pathetic fish pokemon finally evolved after two years of blood sweat and tears, it was as gentle as a lamb. Or at least, towards Julia it was. To everyone else, it might as well be a wild Gyrados.
Glameow
Normal
Female
Bio: While she used her as a fighter as a child, Glameow has become more of a housepet than an active fighting member. She often takes her for companionship, and has tried one or two contests with her. Glameow is a bit spoiled, and super-affectionate. She sort of epitomizes the stereotypical house cat.
Steelix
Steel/Ground
Male
Bio: Another of Julia's childhood favourites, Steelix was actually caught much later. He's quite young and childish, and doesn't really seem to grasp the fullness of most situations. Nonetheless, he's reliable and trustworthy.
And many more. But those are the ones that appear the most.
Weakness: Julia's easily worked up, and she's quite naive outside battling. She sometimes makes a habit of undergauging an opponent.
