Appearance: Joker has a white face and naturally gray hair and eyes. He stands about six feet, and wears a black suit with a red shirt. He guns are hidden in straps like the police wear, and his whip is rolled up and hung from a clip on the underside of his jacket just out of view. He appears to be Cajun in origin.
Personality: Joker is very calm, and has a strong unyeilding loyalty to his companions. He never lies, hates lying, but fully endorses the use of half answers and manipulation to not lie or answer truthfully. He also has an odd affinity to the abstract language. "My love, darling, beauty," and other such words commonly used only for couples of intimate natures. He has a soft accent of what appears to be a Cajun-French. He can never pass up a chance for chess. He commonly breaks the 'fourth wall' and talks to the audience, or rpers.
History: Eric was born in New Orleans as a normal kid. At the age of twelve his parents, heavy drinkers, overdosed and he was sent to live with his uncle, a former police officer. He learned to shoot as they went hunting, and bagged his first deer two years later. During a hunting trip there was an accident and he was caught in a rock slide where his uncle died. He was rescued by some nearby hikers. He went unconscious and comatose for a small time, waking up with memories of his past lives and new abilities. He was soon met by a creation named Queen. She began teaching him and explaining the lives of all the cards, eventually leading him to a base in France where they would reside. The next six years have been spent recruiting and training the new generation of the Cards, or Chess as they used to be. they became a mercenary organization with close ties to the church, who has knowledge of Queen's existent, and have been allies and buyers of the Card's skills. They are exclusive to Christian based countries, like France, the U.S., and Great Britain. During this time, a gene inherited from his grandfather caused him to go completely gray by the age of twenty one. Joker, Ace, King, Queen, and Jack are the five key Cards, 2-10 being grunts or transport specialists.
Powers: Joker has excellent agility and hand to hand fighting abilities. He is an average marksman, and he is a decent strategist. He has low mental resistance, but is adept at illusionary magic and what appears to be Blue Magic, adapted to learn techniques Humans use.
His illusion magic can be used to cloak, create mirages, or affect the five senses. It only lasts five minutes, but that is more than enough for him to plug you with his pistols and/or choke you with his whip.
His blue magic is used like normal, if he sees the attack used enough he can eventually do it himself. This is adapted to humanoids, so for instance, if he sees the Flash use his super speed enough times at a very close up range he would be able to use it, but where as the flash can create a tornado, Eric would be closer to creating a Dust Devil.
Equipment: Dual Pistols Harle and Quin, and a simple leather whip.
Weakness: As a Human he is able to be killed by many things, and has a low mental resistance. He, while trained, is still pretty inexperienced and relies largely on Queen for guidance and support.
