Name: Kay
Age: Mid-twenties
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alignment: Lawful in respect to her dedication to Vemor, but Chaotic Neutral in all other aspects.
Power Level: Mid-tier Medium (5)
Timeline: Modern
Appearance: Chestnut locks fall like brown chocolate around her clear face with impossibly perfect features before curling up at the ends just below her head, giving her face a cute look. A black chocolate velvet gown covers her from just below her shoulders down, leaving them and some cleavage visible. The velvet hugs her figure before splitting just past the waist to reveal long, smooth legs in thin, see-through black stockings and petite feet strapped into heels with supporting buckles. A velvet choker wraps about her neck with an emerald in the middle.
Personality: Aggressive and competitive, Kay has the mentality that if she doesn't fight for what she wants, she won't get what she wants. While this isn't always true, it is so ingrained into her mind from her youth that she has difficulty thinking outside those terms. As a result, she has troubles accepting others as equals, not because she is arrogant of her own abilities, but because if they are on her level, then they are competition for reaching higher levels, whether the situation be social, authoritative or power. It isn't because she wants more than anyone else, only that she wants her share and she doesn't trust anyone to just let her have it.
History: Kay was a homeless child living with her bum parents in the back alleys of the city, getting narrowly by on whatever they could find. She learned early on that the world was a harsh place where you fought to survive or you died in some drain pipe. She became vicious and all but feral as she would steal and fight for the slightest edge, the smallest piece of food, the most modest shelter she could find. She quickly developed a mentality where she had to look out for number one or end up dead last.
This got her into trouble frequently until she tried stealing from Vemorites. When Vemor and several followers cornered her, she thought they were going to take it back, but instead the machine led her back to the food and encouraged her to eat her fill and then spend the night in one of their beds.
She had been with the Vemorites for ten years when, while she was out one day, a colossal crash drew her attention as a train derailed and crashed down on the road below. She rushed over to find one of the cars had landed on a vehicle. The older woman inside was already dead, but the younger one was still alive. She was able to pull the other girl, about her own age, out and carried her all the way to the enclave the Vemorites were staying in and immediately brought her to Vemor's attention.
It hadn't been long after the girl had been tended to that soldiers after what Kay had been out after stormed the facility and, in the confusion, sent Vemor out over the balcony. But Kay had been clever in hiding her stash and they hadn't been able to find it. After they had interrogated her for several hours, she was free to go. She waited a couple days to avoid drawing attention, then gathered some of the other members and packed the weapons in the back of a van, telling them the money she got from selling them would be going to the Enclave. It was true, but still ...
She also went to Dee's house, hoping to get her support. What she got was being dragged on an adventure that cost her her stash and, in her eyes, the sole position of elder sister that she had enjoyed until then. Since then, she has shared the position with Dee, and though the two are as close as sisters can be, Kay still frequently feels as if she is being one-upped by the goody-two-shoes girl.
Powers: While most followers are just normal people in terms of power, as an elder sister, Kay has been granted superhuman abilities to allow her to act in defense of her family. She is capable of forming and directing emerald energy from her hands much like a sorceress, as well as letting loose with an incredibly destructive sonic wave from her vocal chords.
Equipment: None
Weakness: Aside from her powers, she is completely human and isn't really physically powerful. Also, her powers are negated by the power crystal embedded in Dee's hands, preventing Kay from using her powers against her sister.
