Name: Gabriel Uchitilella de Los Angeles
Age: 30
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Power Level: 4
Time line: Modern
Appearance: Gabriel is a man of average height. He is dark skinned, of Mexican origins, and resides in L.A. He commonly dresses in a pair of white khakis, clean brown shoes, good for various athletics as well as being able to pass for dress shoes. This is combined with a clean black, purple, and blue Hawaiian shirt. It is patterned with tropical flowers. He had dark hair, which is combed so it is untangled, but commonly flops wherever, and it is long enough that if pressed down the bangs cover his eyes. One eye is typically always covered, and a few stray locks cover parts of the other eye.
Personality: Gabriel is a kind man. He does not have any accents, which is good because he is hard enough to understand when he talks. He speech is thick and sounds very much like he is talking with cotton balls in his mouth. Gabriel is able to bend the laws of nature, but it is unrefined. He can bore a hole through to points and travel instantly to anywhere else, he can rearrange the flow of gravity to himself, and once he managed to do so with others. This enables him to be able to glide and even walk sideways along a building or upside down along a ceiling. He is a very wealthy person, and he leaves a lot of ''I owe yous whenever he gains more money from the bank.
History: Gabriel can trace his lineage back to the founder of Los Angeles, Filipe de Neve. He is part Mexican and Part Indian. Seven generations ago on his mother's side of the family was an Native American translator. She had an illegitimate child with him. The child eventually married another Native American from a neighboring tribe, Generations later, a Native American woman gave birth to a son, who was raised by his Mexican father after she died from childbirth.
Thus being told, back to Gabriel. Gabriel was raised from birth by his father. His father worked for a mechanic cooperation. He was never really around, either working 15 hour shifts, sleeping, or visiting strip clubs. He had never been able to look past Gabriel being the cause of his wifes death, and yet he loved Gabriel for being his son. Times were rough growing up for Gabriel. That does not mean to say Gabriel was deprived as a child. He grew up relatively happy with his dad, until five, when his uncle on his mother's side took him. His father had become catatonic after an accidental overdose for the pneumonia he had.
From five on Gabriel grew up with his uncle. His uncle was an outstanding role model. He owned his own landscaping business, owned a boat and various vehicles and toys, had plenty of game systems, and was liked by the neighborhood. Gabriel got into science, and had one state science fairs at the age of ten. He majored through high school in biological science, plant life, and calculus. His senior year he won his first world science fair. It was a week after graduation when his father came back out of his coma. They came back together in an estranged relationship. His father went though physical therapy with Gabriel's help, and eventually he filed bankruptcy and moved away. He sends letters to Gabriel frequently from someplace in the Caribbeans where he works as a boat mechanic.
Gabriel entered into a university using a military scholarship. He majored in Biology and minored in Physics. He finished after ten years. Having PhD's in these two fields, and a doctorate in Calculus and Chemistry. He rejoined the military, so to speak, and started to serve out his time. He was working in military science, when a group approached him. They offered him a high paying job and had him work immediately.
He was led to believe all his research was being used in an attempt to be able to terraform planets someday. He worked with plants in a zero gravity room, and began genetic, physic and chemical experiments on plants in an effort to enable them to grow without the necessary needs they would have to have on Earth. During such an experiment a red alarm went off. A man broke into his room, and nearly collapsed. Gabriel helped him, and put him in a corner of the room, and relocked the door.
When the man came to, Gabriel started questioning him. He was horrified to learn his attempts were in fact being used to experiment on humans. There were other scientists taking his research and spare samples, and genetically embedding specimen DNA with humans. Gabriel agreed to help hide the man, and had to resume work. Men came in looking for the escaped specimen. The man, in a rage of fear and panic, tried to use Gabriel as a hostage. The men, after manging to get Gabriel away opened fire. Their bullets caused a reaction in the lab, after causing chemicals to spill all over the place. The explosion killed the men, but Gabriel, who was fleeing, caught the lightest hit of the group.
He woke up in a hospital bed somewhere in France with no explanation of how he got there. He managed to get a trip back to the states from the Embassy, and leave to rest. He stayed with his uncle and explained to his what he remembered. His uncle was concerned with this, and enlisted friends to cover Gabriel's tracks and make it seem he was a runaway form the military.
Gabriel stayed low for some time, eventually changing to his uncles last name, and adding in Spanish the name of the city he was born in, and his blood founded. It was then he began noticing odd things. He found he was eventually starting to bend the laws of physics, and was able to affect gravity and space, curiously the same fields he was studying. He faked his death, with his uncle in on it, and remade himself. Afterwords he robbed three banks and invested it. Once he had enough he repaid the banks, and even opened accounts with them.
Gabriel now resides in Hollywood, where he helps in many fields. He has gotten better control to where he can teleport and walk on walls or the ceiling for as long hours with barely a sweat being broken.
Powers: Teleportation- Gabriel can smash his atoms with the Earth in such a way it sends his body flying into what appears to be a teleportation to anywhere on the planet.
Gravity Control- Gabriel worked extensively in Zero Gravity. Whatever happened during the explosion has allowed him to control the flow of gravity. He is able to control it enough that he can walk up walls or along ceilings.
Equipment: Gabriel has no real equipment. He has a pen light and a small pocket knife for emergencies, but nothing else.
Weakness: Gabriel is still human. He knows very little about his powers. If you break his concentration or can give him a neural shock of some kind, he can not use his powers. He is also hard to understand when he speaks.
