I am following the character guides written by True Blue and Ninmast to construct my profile.
Name: The Strategist
Age: Mid thirties
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Faction: Space Command
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Power Level: High tier medium (I am unsure of this, please look at the profile as a whole and let me know if I am incorrect)
Timeline: Modern/ Near Future
Appearance:
Personality: Amoral, cunning, keeps to himself and hates crowds and direct confrontations unless he is confident that he has the upper hand. He can be friendly and cooperative, if the situation demands it. He can be a nice, charismatic guy one second and stab you in the back the next. He doesn't care for notions of love, justice, and saving the world. He only cares for himself, and will play any role that could help him reach his current goals. He studies his allies and enemies from a distance in order to figure out the best way to eliminate them should they turn against him. He never truly trusts anybody, not even his subordinates.
History: In a world torn by war, the Global Forces attempted to subdue the uprising of magic users, super powered entities, religious groups and anyone who opposes them. In the tenth year of a terrible world war, the Global Forces established a space initiative. After a series of tests, one soldier who had been reconstructed after a brutal defeat by the hands of powerful beings was chosen to be deployed into their space station, the Goliath, and sent on a mission to destroy the opposition from space.
The Strategist had grown tired of the war, and decided to take matters into his own hands. In less than two hours, he had rallied his most loyal allies in the ship and took control. He then turned the Goliath against the Global Forces, and played a large role in their defeat from outer space. His desire to end the war won him many allies from all factions, many of who ended up outcasts. They joined his cause and shared their knowledge and technology with him. In one year, he had obtained both technological and magical resources to help him, and he has used them wisely alongside his manipulating schemes planetside.
The two most powerful factions came together in order to eliminate the threat of the Goliath, and launched consecutive attacks into space. The Goliath vanished. A few months later, reports of signals from outer space came in. I am the Strategist. We are Space Command. We are salvation.
The war rages on, no matter how many die or get twisted. The Strategist has a long road ahead of him.
Powers: Teleportation and manipulation through use of nano machines. There are additional powers such as shape shifting and infecting others (implanting reprogramming nanomachines into someone's body to control and change them as necessary,) but they require a great deal of concentration. He could alternatively teleport his target directly to Space Command, where they would be modified according to his needs and brought back when he sees it fit.
Weapons: A pair of modified guns. He has access to an arsenal of additional weapons if he needs to. He can also call on Space Command for orbital strikes and strike teams at any time.
Weakness: He cannot last too long in direct combat. He is also cut off if his communication with Space Command is severed. Finally, since he is infused with nanomachines with several functions, anything that can interfere with the nanomachines can either kill the Strategist immediately or control/reprogram him.
If the Strategist is killed, he can be brought back through a cloning facility located at the heart of Space Command.
