Name: Gabriel Cortez
Age: 25 when he was cursed
Gender: male
Race: Cursed Human
Alignment: True Neutral ['Cause what does it matter.]
Power Level: 1
Timeline: Pre-American to Present
Appearance: Gabriel was a monk in his home country of Spain. He dresses the same in a sense even after renouncing God. He lived through the years as simply as he could. He wears a white pocket T-shirt and worn blue jeans most recently. He is bald, tall and tan with a nearly amorphous muscular build. At one look he may seem like a mucsclebound freak, but upon a second glane he may look like a high school geek. The only other possesion he wears with him is his oaken quarterstaff, which he wears slung across his back.
Personality: Gabriel is the most drab human in existance. His curse has caused him to give up on a game he can never win or lose, so he chooses not to play at all. He speaks rarely and conveys his discontent with an array of overused sighs.
History: Gabriel's history is mostly a lot of nothing, whatever he did after the Curse went back to normal. The only thing of importance in his life was the events leading up to and the laying of the curse.
Gabriel was raised in a monastary as an orphan by a brotherhood of monks. He lived a painfully boring life and kept up the legacy of boredom when he joined the brotherhood. He lived a normal life for a monk and herder.
One night when he was out herding the sheep when, unbeknownst to him, a raider group killed his whole brotherhood. He returned with his sheep to find fifty corpses laid about the monastary. He felt guilty at first, but his guilt quickly turned to anger, at God. He questioned how God could let that happen to his servants, and soon the enraged questions turned into a whirlwind of blasphemy.
God was apparently appauled, for Gabriel fell unconscious mid-sentence. He heard a voice as he was asleep. "you will know the wrath of that which you have insulted. I will grant you eternal life but punish you with the inablility to change your environment. You will know monotony in and out."
Gabriel awoke after the words stopped and immediately tried to kill himself in spite of the words. He fell unconscious from bloodloss, and woke up fully healed and with the knife laying where he had picked it up from. He stood up, despondent and began his eternal trek across the globe.
Powers:
~Cursed Perfection: As a part of his curse, Gabriel is as strong, fast, intelligent, etc. as the strongest, fastest, smartest, etc. person he comes in contact with.
[Example: If he touched the Hulk he would be that strong on contact.]
~Cursed Stealth: Gabriel can only be seen by those he wants to see him or those who have touched him. He uses this only in extreme cases to avoid conflicts.
~Cursed Immortality: Gabriel is immune to any disease or poison and if he dies, the secod he loses consciousness he is fully healed.
Equipment: Quarterstaff: His only possesion. It is a symbol of his love for his late Brotherhood.
Weakness: Gabriel's only weakness is likely the most crippling weakness ever. He is unable to change his environment permanently. After he goes to sleep, everything he changed in his waking hours goes back to how it was before. He is required to sleep when the sun goes down wherever he is.
[Even people he may have kiled spring back to life when he goes to sleep.]
