Name: Mitchell Connors & Anavra
Age: 30/2500
Gender: Male/Male
Race: Human/Esper
Alignment: Lawful Good/Neutral Good
Power Level: 1(Separate)/5(Fused)
Timeline: Modern
Appearance: Mitchell is a generally handsome man of his time. He's tall of dark complexion with tidy dark hair and a chiseled body. He is a professional exorcist and general ghost hunter, but rarely dresses so. He is usually wearing a nice suit that consists of a pale blazer, equally pale slacks, a white pocket shirt, and a pair of light loafers.
Anavra is a fallen angel trying to regain the Lord's grace and looks much like it. He has a generally humanoid form except for the six skeletal wings that jut from his back and the fact that he is wrapped in ashy-gray cloth bindings over most of his sickly looking body. His head is almost completely covered by this binding except for his right eye which shines an eerie vermilion.
While fused, they take on Mitchell's appearance for the most part. The only differences are the fact that he sprouts a set of bony wings and that his eyes glow the same vermilion that Anavra's do.
Personality: Mitchell is defined by his work, he helps people when they feel they can't be helped at all. He is kind and generous with any of his worldly possessions if he thinks it'll help someone else. His seemingly only flaw is his overconfidence in his power, and is sometimes seen as cocky in the line of duty.
Anavra who once harbored such hatred in his souls has recently seen the error of his ways when he was nearly banished to hell by Mitchell. He tries his hardest to live up to the moral standards that Mitchell sets for him, but often falls just short of such. He is generally good, but has his moments when his temper flares.
History: Originally Mitchell was a lawyer fresh out of law school when he became interested in the supernatural. He worked during the day and studied supernatural phenomenon at night. He was content with this as a hobby, but slowly found himself being sucked into the spirit realm more and more of his time.
He started to study in his office more as time passed, and he frequented mediums and other sources of interest during the day as well. He found out while speaking with one of the psychics that he spoke with that he had an abnormally well developed energy structure. She told him that with this abnormality he could manipulate the natural energies around him. She gave him the card of one of her associates and told him he could help him develop this power of his. This "associate" lived in Florida, a long way from upstate New York. however, by this time he was so engrossed in his studies that he had no problem moving across the country, mainly because he had yet to start a family.
After he moved down to Tampa, he quickly found this man who he would come to call "Bishop." And Bishop did indeed help him develop his skill. In fact, Bishop was so impressed with Mitchell that he offered him a job as a secular exorcist, who could exorcise and demon or spirit without religious affiliation. Naturally, he took the job to test out his new found skill.
He did well as an exorcist, he was confident and often lent the family courage just from his calm demeanor as he removed their troubles right before their eyes. He quickly became a renowned spiritual expert in the area, and his following spread over the next few years to the point where most spiritualists in the United States knew his name and called him for help.
It was during one of these emergency calls that he was introduced to the most powerful entity that he would ever meet in life. He was called to exorcise a higher level demon, but something had handled it easily before he had a chance to. Anavra turned to face him in the old abandoned morgue and smirked behind his wrappings. Mitchell's associate fled from fear, but the fact that Mitchell stayed widened Anavra's smirk into a grin. He was definitely interested in this host.
Anavra explained what he was to the overly curious Mitchell and proposed the mutual possession as part of his repentance to the Lord. Mitchell accepted graciously, and since that point, the two have been one.
Mitchell was powerful beforehand, but with Anavra's power he moved up to bigger prey. He now hunts high ranking demons and fallen in the name of God.
Powers:
~Mitchell
-Spiritual Eraser: With this discharge of energy, Mitchell is capable of disrupting the patterns of natural energy that spirits use to manifest. this could cause the spirits manifestation to become shaky or cancel it completely depending on its ability to control the energy around it.
-Superior Energy Structure: While normally a passive trait, this can be utilized to double Mitchell's physical capabilities. He can only sustain this form for a few minutes and must fuse with Anavra to maintain consciousness after its effect wears off.
~Anavra(Ethereal Only. Unfused, Anavra can only damage other spirits)
-Rage: Anavra beats his wings several times a second while emitting small amounts of spiritual energy from the tips. This results in hundreds of tiny needles o energy. They aren't capable of flying very far and can only cause significant damage in large numbers.
-Fury: Anavra calls back all expelled energy, which causes the needles shot by Rage to rip out of whatever they are in and return to him.
-Vermilion Cannon: Anavra shoots a highly concentrated beam of energy from his one showing eye. It has tremendous piercing ability, but must be aimed at vitals to do and real damage seeing as how the beam is only the diameter of his pupil. This also has a cool down of several moments because he cannot call this energy back with Fury.
~Fused: While fused with Anavra, Mitchell has access to the entirety of both of their skills. He is also able to take much more damage and stay conscious while fused.
Equipment: Mitchell uses what you might consider usual for a exorcist. Holy water, religious symbols of various religions, and several warding charms from his Cajun friends in the bayou.
Weakness: While being possessed by Anavra Mitchell has all of the weaknesses of a demon, and must shed all of his warding instruments beforehand.
He can easily be killed since he has no combat training whatsoever.
