Name: Sayesh Graal [Originally Graal. But he made that his last name when the need arose.]
Age: Ancient [appears 40-ish]
Race/Species: Human/Avatar
Gender: Male
Power Level: (Looking for my first legitimate nine. Just for funsies.)
Timeline: From Caveman times to modern.
Appearance: He is a rather large man and with a rough brutish look. His short, black hair is slicked back to show his two most distinctive physical features. His eyes are black with white corona-like irises and pupils and he has two half-inch wide stripes that rise from his eyebrows and disappear into his hairline. Next moving down is his armor. Overall it is a set of thick black plate with a deep purple trim and triangular cutting and edges to accentuate the evil look of it. The two over sized pauldron pieces connect at the corner to the thick chest plate which is adorned with a swirling purple storm insignia which lead to the large tasset at his waist. His greaves cover from the knees down and his gloves cover elbow down, the empty space is occupied by thick mail over a weather resistant rubber suit.
Personality: Despite his appearance as a caveman in nice armor, he is received well even by his enemies. He does abide by the codes Abaddon has set from him, now for honor more than order, and he is always polite and respectful. His rough handsome looks stacked upon his perfect smile and obvious sense of honor and chivalry makes him likable even as you hate him for what he does.
History:
He was originally just a lowly caveman when the humans had just started to appear on Earth. He was the War Chief of a small tribe of nomads and was the strongest fighter of all men within his tribe.
His path to evil began with a wound he sustained in a skirmish with a rival tribe. The injury didn't kill him but it did disable him as a warrior and stripped him of his title as War Chief, but to ad insult to injury his fickle wife left him for his brother who had taken the reigns as War Chief. He was left with nothing but self-pity, rage, despair, and a desperate need to regain his former glory.
One stormy night while he was alone in his cave sleeping, he was awoken by a loud croak. He had heard bullfrogs before when it rained, but never this close, or that loud. He stepped out of his hole-in-the-wall home to find that there was a frog squatting triumphantly at the opening. He stomped his feet and waved his arms, but the frog refused to leave. Soon it croaked again, and this sent Graal to the ground. The frogs mouth opened to a colossal size, big enough to swallow him whole. As he sat there dazed, the frog spoke, "Stand, human!" The voice hurt his ears, but he did as the fros commanded and came to his feet. "I am Abaddon. I seek the souls of you mortals, but I need an avatar to do my bidding on the physical plane." The splitting pain in Graal's ears stopped like something had been placed between himself and the frog. "I have chosen you to be my avatar, Graal. I need you to collect these souls for me." His voice no longer hurt, but Graal wasn't the man he was once. He looked down to his injured leg in wincing at all he had lost. "You doubt yourself? There is no need. I will fix all that ails you, Graal." with these words Graal felt a tremendous pain in his leg as Abaddon set his bone back into its rightful place and healed the shredded muscle. Graal fell down and clutched his leg, but by then the pain had already faded. "Graal. I will instill in you a taste of my power. Use it as you will, just be sure not to fail me." With that the frog leapt onto Graal and melted into his exposed chest. Pain surged through his body and within seconds his subconscious formed the basis of his power. He shook the pain from his mind and stood up straight. "I will serve you well, Master.
Skills:
High Psionics- Sayesh developed this skill to counteract his once lacking intellect. It has helped him adapt through the years as well as learn every new language he has come across.
~Telekinesis- Sayesh is as capable with his mind as his body. Anything he can do physically he can do with his mind as well.
~Telepathy/Empathy- One of his most used mental skills. He can invade the minds of others and read their thoughts and emotions. He can also implant thoughts, memories, and even emotions that the target feel are their own.
~Aerokinesis/Pyrokinesis/Cryokinesis/Terrakinesis- Even the elements themselves submit to Sayesh's will. With these skills he can make any environment hostile.
Physical Prowess- Derived from his original role as War Chief. He has developed his already impressive body to the supernatural standards Abaddon holds for his avatars.
~Strength- Sayesh has the raw strength to tear a redwood, roots and all, out of the ground. The urban equivalent would be one of the smaller skyscrapers in New York.
~Speed- Sayesh is capable of up to Mach III speeds, but with a deal of strain. He can breach the sound barrier without breaking a sweat.
~Steel Skin- His flesh and bones are hardened to that of high-carbon steel. This includes his skin, muscle, and other soft tissues. His bones; however, are much harder. Comparable to diamond.
~Sharp senses- Sayesh has tuned his skills to the best of his own abilities. His hearing, sense of smell, and sight are multiplied tenfold. His acute sense of touch gives him super human balance, and his enhanced sense of taste gives him a second smell sense much like a reptile.
Soul Tide- His most useful and often used skill. Abaddon has given him free reign over the souls he collects for him. He can use this skill in several ways, but his most often uses for them are:
~Ghoulish Hunger- These souls feed on the youth of the living. Basically stripping them of their youth bite by bite. Anything alive could be subject to this skill, but it wouldn't affect someone who doesn't age.
~Replenish- Sayesh has access to the youth that his souls have stolen. With this pure youth he keeps himself alive and heals his wounds. The larger the wound the more youth it takes to heal, and without refilling on some unsuspecting victim, his reserves could run out.
~Archive- Sayesh has access to all of the knowledge and memories of his souls. This makes his quite an intellectual force in several fields.
~Cacophonous Symphony- By ordering all of his souls to screech all at once, he causes an extremely irritating, high-pitched noised to be produced. This would cause sever pain about the ears with most people, but those with heightened senses would be affected more heavily.
Items/Equipment:
~Nebula- His great claymore with the impossibly sharp edge that was given to him as a gift from Abaddon. It is the source of his control over the Soul Tide. It also causes festering wounds whenever it strikes due to its connection with the highly corrosive spirits Sayesh keeps in his company.
~Vortex- His armor. It is of Earthly steel but blessed by Abaddon to posses supernatural defensive properties. It cannot be pierced by any normal blade and has a strong defense against low-level magics, especially dark magics. However, this only applies to the plates as the chain mail is normal steel.
Weaknesses-His most obvious weakness is his aversion to light magics. They cause harm to him on a supernatural level and his armor can't defend against it nearly as well.
Loss of Nebula is another weakness of his. Without it he cannot access the Soul Tide and he is forced to age an heal at a normal rate.
His assisted healing is far below that of others on his level. He can heal cuts and bruises easily, but the length of time required to heal increases exponentially with the severity of the damage dealt.
