Name: Claudia Chaffee
Age: 31
Gender: Female
Race: White
Alignment: Neutral
Power Level: 2
Timeline: 1920s-1940s
Appearance: She is a buxom blonde with full pouting lips, large blue eyes and graceful curves built up from years of dance classes when she was younger. A high fashion woman, she is always seen dressed in her favorite colors, red and white. Her skin is a creamy color, free of blemishes due to summers spent at a French finishing school from the age of seven to nineteen.
Personality: A femme fatal, she only considers wrong and right when it pertains to her own personal gain. She is willing to take what she wants no matter the consequences to any other person. She has a soft spot for children, though anyone else can go to blazes. Outside of her ‘work’ she is a kind person, very proper and courteous.
History: Born in France, her father was a wealthy man of vision who believed that money was what would make the world a better place. Embracing a common belief at that time, he went to America to further his prosperity. Then the Depression came. His fortune vanished and debtors came knocking at the hovel he now called home. No one knows what happened to Monsieur Chaffee, but one morning his body was found broken and cold in an alley near his apartment. Apparently, he had fallen to his death.
Young Claudia didn’t learn of her father’s misfortune and death until she came to America two years later, having finished her term in the school her father had left her in the care of. Learning of his death, she went into an investigation of WHY her beloved father, the only family she had left in the world, would take his own life. During a long night of searching through his things, she found his Black Book.
This held the names of every man he owed something to. In the distorted reasoning of grief, Claudia blamed these people for his death. However, in the last page of the book, there was the name of one debtor who owed a substantial amount. This man, Hadrian Rilke, became her right hand man of sorts. He now does her bidding to pay off the debt owed to her father.
Powers: None.
Equipment: Carries a small handgun in her bag and a knife under the garter she wears on her left upper thigh.
Weakness: The same as any normal human.
