Name: Razz Ranston (claims his user name is xXPwnrazZXx)
Age: Looks about very late twenties. Claims that he is actually a 16-year-old sitting in front of a computer. Is actually probably a 12-year-old lying about his age.
Gender: Male
Race: Symbiote-Augmented Human
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Power Level: Low-tier Medium (4) without any pickups. Pickups can push him as far as Low-tier High (7).
Timeline: Modern to Futuristic
Appearance: A large man with an arrogant jaunt, Razz could easily be claimed as a modern Duke Nukem. His taste in style likely suffered from similar knocks to the head when it was a small, defenseless, unaware child, as well. His bleached blonde hair has been buzz cut as low as possible and still show the painfully bright color, while at the same time shaving it down to the scalp in stripes so as to create a sort of zig-zag pattern. His skin is brown, but his features say it is from tan rather than heritage, and he is instead straight Caucasian. He wears a red muscle shirt but corrects anyone who calls it that and instead insists that it be described proudly as a wife-beater. His pants - when he can be bothered to wear them - are dusty brown cargo pants. When he can't be bothered to wear them, they're U.S. Flag boxers. Because real men can't fit in briefs. His accessories include pitch black aviator glasses, a gold tooth, dog tags that claim he served in Vietnam (despite how poorly the dates match up) and a multibarrel, large-bore, semiautomatic sidearm that fires explosive 2.67 caliber rounds, called the Skullinator.
Personality: Razz is extremely impulsive and chaotic. His actions and allegiances shift in time with his mood and desires at any given moment. He likes to fancy himself a hero and will generally move in some vague direction half-heartedly dictated by some barely functioning moral compass, but he's just as easily distracted by whatever may seem to entertain him more. Because he sees the whole world as a video game that he is the lead character in, he does not believe in any solid right or wrong outside of the perception that he can't be wrong and anyone who would disagree can't be right. He is perverse, violent and has a complete disregard for the rights or wellbeing of others since they're all only NPCs.
History: The official history of SSG. Robert "Razz" Ranston isn't impossible to acquire, although it does require a rather high level of clearance. He was an outstanding marine with enough accommodations that he could build a massive statue of himself if he melted them all down. His hugely successful military career, topped with impeccable physical qualifications and weapons qualifications, qualified him for a top-secret super soldier project.
By introducing an alien symbiote to his system, they made him almost immediately stronger, tougher, faster, more enduring and, much to the brass's viewing pleasure, capable of utilizing specialized biomechanical gear reverse-engineered from the technology found with the symbiote.
It also apparently made him unstable, however, because this and other powers he seemed to gain as a result of the fusion led to him believing in a vastly different past.
Though he seems to recognize major figures in his life, he does so with a detachment as if he doesn't take it seriously. Mostly because ... he doesn't. He is under the delusion that the entire world is a video game and that not only is he the infallible main character destined to be the hero no matter what, but that everyone else isn't real.
He readily confesses that he is actually somebody sitting at a computer playing a game and controlling the "totally bitchin'" main character of Razz Ranston. He claims that this person is sixteen, but behaviors indicate that this is unlikely (assuming it was true in the first place) and psychologists that have worked his case have said that their profiles that they have constructed paint him more as a preteen posing as someone older.
He says the game just took his age from his account data.
Powers: Razz's already peak physical condition was pushed beyond the limits of what a normal human is capable of with the introduction of the symbiote, and while he can't lift even a small car, he can easily throw around grown men and shrug off blows that would require body armor on anyone else to avoid broken bones. In addition, and perhaps one of the major traits leading to his delusions, is that he can see the percentage of life energy an enemy has left, represented by, he claims, a traditional life bar.
Frighteningly, perhaps through a delusion-enabled self-hypnosis, he seems to be capable of enabling an Invincibility cheat code. He refrains from using it, however (Read: This will never actually be used seriously) and claims that it is because it takes away the fun of the game. Though he does always seem to be giving a fearful glance for somebody specific who might be nearby when the suggestion is raised. Even when the "cheat code" is on, he still feels everything. He simply takes no physical injury from it. Military scientists believe it is a combination of unconscious self-hypnosis and hyper-rapid healing, but have no evidence to it.
Equipment: One weapon that is always on him is the Skullinator. It has four chambers on it that turn like some grossly mutated giant of a revolver, but can fire faster than a traditional military handgun. This does limit its shot capacity before reloading, but its high damage makes up for it and he seems to enjoy reloading the thing with the shells he keeps on his belt.
Far more dangerous than the Skullinator, however, are what he calls his "pickups," the biomechanical weapons and armors he has "unlocked" for himself. They come in all shapes, but only one size: Large. Magrail cannons, rockets, Metal Knuckles, siege armor, there sometimes seems to be no limit to what he can pull out from wherever his storage is, or as he calls it, his Pre-Mission Equipment Subscreen.
Weakness: He is incredibly arrogant and self-important to the degree of believing himself infallible. This makes him almost boringly easy to lead into traps and ambushes. He is also so embarrassingly ADD that it's almost impossible to keep him focused on a single task for its duration.
