Name: Terry "Ten" McGregor
Age: 17
Gender: Male ... er ... with a couple of exceptions.
Race: Human ... most of the time ...
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Power Level: Varies depending on the transformation
Timeline: Modern
Appearance: Tall and well-built, with the body of a high school football player, but not something that would go to college on it. He's got brown hair that he wears combed to one side and green eyes. He's usually wearing a t-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers. On his left hand is what seems to be a black glove with a large watch.
Personality: Jovial and easy-going, Terry doesn't seem to take a great deal of things seriously. He's very laid back, but gives a cocky, arrogant persona in conflict. Also of note, unless it's a big, green, three-eyed alien he's threatening, he'd rather do things with his own two hands than rely on the Mystrix.
History: For the great majority of his life, Terry has been nothing particularly outstanding, at least, not abnormally so. He's always been pretty athletic, and has always enjoyed football. But one night, that all changed.
A pulsing light coming in through his window disrupted his sleep until finally, he went out into the woods behind his house to figure out what lame-brain thought it was funny. Needless to say, he was rather surprised when all he found was a strange device with the symbol of a circle with an X in it, each segment alternatingly grey and white. As soon as he picked it up, it dug itself into his wrist and bound itself to his hand.
For better or for worse, he now had possession of the Mystrix, and over time, he has learned to use it in battle against monstrous enemies, finding himself an unsuspecting hero in a war against the forces of evil.
Powers: The Mystrix is a mystical shapechanging device containing the spiritual energies of 10,000 great warriors throughout time and space, all deceased. It was thought by its creators that a hero using this artifact would have the powers of all 10,000 at his disposal. Presently, however, Terry has access to only 11 forms, one of which he suspects is a malfunction. All forms possess a skintight grey, black and white uniform with the symbol of the Mystrix prominently displayed. He's named them, himself, but has no idea what their original identities were.
Form 1: Fangpire
Appearance: A handsome vampire with pale skin and somewhat lengthy hair.
Powers: He possesses fairly balanced strength, speed and endurance, all roughly ten to fifteen times greater than that of a normal human, making him an excellent all-around choice and one of Terry's more frequent forms. However, he grows steadily weaker if used in the daylight, and he gets a power boost (the 15x part) at night. Because it's only a form and Terry isn't actually a vampire, he doesn't suffer the immediate burning death in sunlight or around other such things. Holy items have no effect.
Form 2: Ghost Buster
Appearance: A frightening wraith with a horridly chilling laugh.
Powers: Ghost Buster is capable of passing through solid objects and possesses shadow-manipulation abilities. While this form even freaks Terry out, the ability to go obstacles guarantees that this form sees its use. The obvious weakness is that the less shadows there are, the less he has to manipulate.
Form 3: Metal Head
Appearance: A massive metal, humanoid robot with the only signs of a face being a single, red "eye."
Powers: This is Terry's power-hitting form, packing tremendous physical force, wrist-mounted lasers and a chest full of missiles. It also has the ability to grow giant-sized, making it ideal for taking on similarly large adversaries. While powerful and tough, Metal Head lacks some maneuverability, and as a result, is one of his slower forms, possessing the speed and agility of somewhat more than a professional athlete.
Form 4: Blitzkrieg
Appearance: A thin, yellow being that seems vaguely humanoid.
Powers: Extreme speed. Able to reach Mach 4 in a near instant, about the only way you're going to stop it is to make sure it has nothing to run on.
Form 5: Bird Beak
Appearance: A griffon the size of a small horse with wide, feathered wings.
Powers: Bird Beak flies like Blitzkrieg runs, able to easily outfly even the most sophisticated and advanced fighter jets. He can fire an aeroblast from his mouth to attack.
Form 6: Fish Face
Appearance: A humanoid fish man (think Zora, except more
green). He wields a two-pointed spear.
Powers: High nautical speed, aquatic communication and water manipulation. He can dry out if he's in a very hot or dry environment.
Form 7: Fairy Dust
Appearance: One of only two female forms the Mystrix grants Terry, this is a small sprite girl about the size of a human hand.
Powers: Chromatic magic, particularly good at dazzling foes with the blinding, psychadelic colors. Her small size, unfortunately, makes her ideal for squashing underfoot.
Form 8: Hot Head
Appearance: A humanoid fire elemental, roughly the size and shape of an athletic male human, but surrounded in flames.
Powers: Intense fire manipulation and immunity to heat. He's useless underwater for obvious reasons, but can blaze through ice in seconds.
Form 9: Frog Legs
Appearance: A large, warty toad the size of a small pony.
Powers: Incredible jumping ability and strong kicks. He can also project a green vomit with impressive force. His bulky, frog-like design, however, makes it somewhat hard for him to evade.
Form 10: Hacker Bug
Appearance: A black, insect-like humanoid the size of a beetle, with green, glowing lines running along its skin.
Powers: Hacker Bug can interface with any technology and can reroute power for powerful electric blasts. Its small form makes it even more likely to be smashed, swatted or stepped on than Fairy Dust.
Form 11: Luna
Appearance: A very shapely, attractive girl about Terry's age. She'd seem human if it weren't for her blue skin and white hair.
Powers: None. In fact, she's somewhat weaker than Terry. This is the form he suspects is a malfunction, but it really isn't. He only accesses this form on accident, and rather despises being stuck in the form, not only because she's a girl, but because there's no abilities to make her useful in combat. Her one strong point seems to be dexterity and agility, but this isn't significant, only comparable to an athletic human woman.
Weapons: He only has the Mystrix, but it's always with him, and cannot be removed.
Weakness: His weaknesses depend on his form, but in his human form, he's normal. Also, the Mystrix only stays active for five minutes, no more, no less. This is a for-better-or-worse scenario. If he's fighting as Flamethrower, and suddenly his opponent enters the water, he can't change to Fish Face. He has to make due until his five minutes are up before he can change again. There doesn't seem to be a limit, however, to how many times he can repeatedly use the device in a day's time, and he can activate it again immediately after detransforming.
