Personality: Cold and determined, very focused. When something does manage to tick him off, he can go into a violent rage, but it takes a great deal to do that. He's very confident in his abilities, almost on the verge of thinking himself invincible, but not quite.
History: When the Mother Units kidnapped the heroes of Earth, they took data samples from two of the strongest - Master Link Hunter and Star Peacefire. From this data, they constructed two new units, amplified in abilities but integrated with the genetic data of the originals. These units, it was hoped, would be able to neutralize the parameter breaches and keep the planet secure against otherworldly threats in their place.
Master Zero and Quicksilver entered into combat with their predecessors, but Quicksilver was destroyed and Master Zero was ordered back to Eden for repairs and parameter verifications. Quicksilver's demise put a bitter seed in his heart, for they were as close as brother and sister, and now, he wants revenge on the ones who murdered her.

Master Zero's abilities differ depending on his form, but his power is great. He was, after all, built to eliminate high-powered opponents.
Normal:
Immense Physical Strength - Master Zero's potential force output is extremely high, even by high-powered standards. Blow for blow, he was easily able to outmeasure even the mighty H.A.C.S. mechanical battle golem.
Immense Physical Endurance - Both because of his construction and his midnight-black Edenite armor, Master Zero possesses incredible defense, able to outright ignore what others might consider brutal punishment. Because he is an unnatural entity, he can go longer, further and harder without rest than organic beings.
Immense Physical Speed - While not to the level of his endurance and physical strength, Master Zero possesses remarkable speed, able to easily keep pace with almost any of his prey.
Immunity to Organic Psionics - Because he is, essentially, a construct, Master Zero is immune to mental assaults that would normally affect organic lifeforms. This also means, however, that he cannot receive telepathic messages over these channels, either.
High Density - Both a help and a hindrance, because of his construction materials, he has a very dense molecular structure.
Plasma Generation - The primary tool of battle for Eden, Master Zero's use of plasma allows him to surround a weapon or his bare hands with plasma to increase damage. When used on a weapon, even the most pathetic blade can be given a very dangerous edge.
Superform:
Immense Physical Strength - His physical power receives a huge increase while transformed. What might have given him difficulty before can easily be knocked aside or crushed.
Immense Physical Defense - Nearly invulnerable to all damage, whether this is the form or the rush of energy accompanying it is unknown. What is known is that he shrugs off nearly everything thrown at him; it only lets him know where they are.
Immense Physical Speed - While before only respectable compared to his other abilities, his speed is now absolutely incredible, often moving across an entire expanse before another can even recognize he's moved, virtually giving the impression of teleportation.
Immunity to Psionics - Invulnerable to both organic and mechanical psionics, his mind is too disrupted to be affected by either.
Flight - Through the use of his wings, Master Zero is capable of flight equal to his movement speeds while transformed.
Weapons: Originally, he wielded a simple display sword that he swiped from a store window on his first excursion to Terra. He sheathed this in plasma to use it effectively in battle.
As of Episode III - Deadly Sins, Master Zero wields the experimental Zeta Saber, a plasma saber consisting of a hilt that ejects a stream of plasma so as to resemble a burning blade of energy. While with the normal one, he could still create a razor wind with the rapid swing of the sword, the Zeta Saber also allows him to channel a quick burst of additional plasma through the weapon to cause it to thrust out like a lance for a distanced attack and rapid attacks with properly-timed switching of the plasma generator in the weapon can actually propel plasma blades.
In his superform, he uses no weapons, only his razor-sharp clawed hands and feet.
Weakness: No energy manipulation, incapable of flight in his normal form. Despite the power his superform gives him, his chassis isn't designed to support the stresses and spending extended time transformed can damage it. The longer he remains in it, the greater the stress. Remaining in it for longer than a few minutes is deathly ill-advised.
