Name: Timothy Donovan
Age: 15
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Side: Good
Power Level: High Tier, Low
Appearance: A developing build. average length and spiky blonde-brown hair. green eyes. Jeans, sneakers, blue and white horizontal striped t-shirt.
History: Timmy used to live in a completely normal world. It was boring and he led an average life. One thing he always looked forward to was the every-other-week release of his favorite comic book, "Multiverse". It told of the exploits of a group of heroes against several villains. One day at age twelve, Tim had bought the latest issue of the book and ran home. When he got there he found the place on fire. Not thinking he ran inside and was overwhelmed by the smoke, blacking out and hitting his head on a fallen two-by-four as he went. When he woke up several hours later, he was in the hospital. Sitting next to his bed was one of the Hospital's council ling staff. The woman broke the news to him...his parents didn't make it out of the house. The news crushed the boy...he was alone now. He spent the next few weeks in the care of the state...recieving council ling and a temporary home until he'd be shipped of into foster care.
It was then that the newest edition of his comic came out. When he got the book home and started reading it...he discovered something very surprising...he was on the cover. Reading through the book he found it was telling the tall of everything that had happened to him up to that point...right down to reading the book he was at that moment. He was afraid and amazed at the same time...turning the page to the end of the book his heart nearly jumped into his throat. The book depicted on the villains featured in the regular story standing in the animated version of that room...the faceless one. Tim looked up slowly, and sure enough...standing in the corner of the room, arms crossed was the faceless villain known as Spectral. They stared at one another for a few moments before the villain's eyes flared up. He greeted Tim who tried to run but the doors all slammed shut and refused to open. The boy cowered in fear as Spectral walked to wards him. The villain laughed and told him to get up...he wasn't there to shed blood. He'd been watching Timothy's world for quite some time..interested by the fact that a comic book so perfectly documented the exploits of himself and those he regularly fought. For reasons he didn't explain, he'd come to present Timothy with a challege. Spectral was going to send the boy to another world...if he could prove himself worthy in that world...he'd be granted something the boy had secretly wished for since the night of the fire...he'd be transported to the worlds depicted in the comic book...but if he failed, he'd be killed. With no further words Spectral sent the boy hurtling into another world. That was three years ago...Spectral went to the world to see the results of his challenge...and was surprised to see that the boy had indeed survived...and proven himself worthy, becoming a warrior and assisting in saving the world from an invader. Spectral burst out laughing...confusing Timothy. The villain explained that he hadn't been serious at all...he'd intended the boy to die minutes after he'd been thrown into this world and the true reason for his return after the three years was to retrieve a mystical item he'd snuck into the realm at the same time as the boy. Tim was outraged and charged at the villain, intending to go down fighting. Spectral stopped the boy by melting his blade with a single touch. He told the boy not to be so hasty...he'd send him to the world he wished to visit...to the heroes he wished to meet and the villains he wished to fight...but first he had a gift for him. Spectral gave the boy the sword, "Nrzyssll"...roughly translated it meant "The Rising Hero". Tim thanked Spectral for the gift, tears streaming down his eyes, and was about to hug the faceless villain when he was reminded of something..."I'm the bad guy, kid. When you get there...I'm one of the guys you'll have to fight against...once you get strong enough anyway"...Spectral then opened a portal, and just like he'd done 3 years ago...threw the boy into another world. Now he's searching for the heroes in the comic book he enjoyed so much...seeking to perhaps become a student of them.
Powers: He's got enhanced strength, speed, and endurance. He heals faster than a normal human. Hand-to-hand combat and sword fighting skills.
Weapons: A sword with a name that translates roughly to "The Rising Hero". Other than the fact that it cannot be broken and that he has to summon it to get it...there's nothing really special about it.
