Name: R1
Designation: Renaissance Prototype Unit 1 Frontline Assault Drone
Call Sign: Hunter
Power Level: Mid-Tier High
Gender: Male
Age: Unrecorded
Timeline: Futuristic (Has the means to be in other timelines)
Allignment: Chaotic Evil (May be different in certain RPs)
Species: Robot
Personality: While artificial, R1 can be considered to have a soul and individuality, albeit a twisted one. He is quite alive and human in terms of thinking. R1 is very analytical, cold, callous and egotistical. He hates biological creatures with a passion, using them only if it serves his best interests. He is a bit vain, talking down to those he deems to have a lower intelligence.
Appearance: Humanoid in design, R1 is a sterling silver in colour. His arms and legs are somewhat spindly, but they possess a deceptively large amount of destructive tools. R1’s head is round, in a shape slightly in resemblance to a helmet. His face is able to contort to show emotion, and his eyes are lights, changing in brightness, shape and colour to reflect emotion, just like how one can see emotion in a human’s eyes. For the most part R1’s chest is round, supporting his limbs and head. R1 is outfitted with claws on the hands and feet, they are retractable and easy for him to manipulate.
History: Before the rise of the steel revenants, there was the age of power. Technology that surpassed space was made. It was a time of war. The new line of battle robots, the renaissance series, was in production. Professor Needa Valence was in charge of the prototype production.
Renaissance Series Prototype Ver.1.0 was a highly capable killing machine, however, the expenses were far too great to mass produce the creature, so it was theorized that a few assassination types may be more efficient. This is the official documentation, in reality there was more to the shut down. R1’s AI, capable of learning and emotion, was sadistic and cruel, far too much for even a soldier. Ver. 1, call sign “Hunter”, was shut down to protect the general public. As he was incomplete, it was assumed that he would never see the light of day. This began the manufacturing of Ver. 2.0 of the renaissance series. However, the longetivity and adaptive abilities of R1 were not taken into consideration. R1 secretly reactivated after Professor Needa was killed by the government. He finished himself, and began to gather the finished series of battle drones to his side. He began the Steel Revenants himself, responsible for the almost apocalyptic bloodshed of the world. He still seeks out and destroys the biological race, now seeking out his “little brother” to join him.
R1’s Arsenal:
Adaptation System: R1 is impervious to conventional weapons, normal attacks, and related techniques. After realizing the danger, he will adapt his body to glance off the blows using very powerful alloys and technology.
Claws: R1’s claws are diamond tipped, making them deadly sharp and able to slice through just about anything. His combat OS has made him able to use these with extremely deadly efficiency.
Cyberkenesis and Technokenesis: In an attempt to combat the new usage of magic against him, which he cannot block with the adaptation system, R1 kidnapped a powerful mage to give him mystic power. Though it was believed to fail, power over R1’s key element was unlocked within him. R1 has very powerful control over technology and other robotic beings. He is also efficient with manipulating cyberspace and data.
Strength: R1 was created with power far surpassing any human’s expectations. His body is able to crush something has hard as a diamond into dust, and he could lift several times his considerable weight.
Repair Module: R1’s body repairs damage quite quickly, making him a powerful defensive wall.
Paralyze Claws: R1 can channel electrical energy into his claws to give them a shocking kick, adding a stunning effect as well.
Jets: Using a few hidden jets, R1 can fly at speeds roughly able to reach mach speed, utilizing this in combat and in pursuit.
Hidden Weapons: Being a military superweapon and capable of upgrading himself, R1 is in possession of a multitude of hidden weapons:
A laser chaingun concealed on the left wrist
A powerful shotgun for a close-range shot hidden in the right wrist
An arc cannon capable of shooting a large bolt of electricity in the left side of his waist
Twin rail guns concealed in his legs to make powerful artillery shots from the air
A powerful beam about one meter in width and length created by a deceptively small gun on the chest
A few rockets in his head
Duex Et Machina: R1’s finisher of sorts. Translated to “God of Machines”, a title he appointed to himself. R1 uses all of his hidden weapons on the enemy at once on a single enemy, then uses the jets to slice with his claws while electrifying them. R1 then grabs the enemy and crushes the neck, ruthlessly tossing them aside like a rag doll.
Attachments: R1 has crafted various attachments for specialty uses:
Close combat: An extra pair of arms is added, while the rockets, rail guns, and beam are removed. The extra pair of arms each wields a fireblade (Sides of a Coin equivalent to a lightsaber)
Artillery: R1’s arms are replaced with high power concussion missile cannons. His close combat credibility is lost, but his long range power and firepower is drastically amplified.
Mobility: R1’s weapons are for the most part toned down, but his jets are redone, giving him about twice the speed.
Flight: Much like the mobility, but crafted for air combat. His weapons are for the most part replaced with anti-air equivalents, and a pair of wicked razor wings are attached to his back, adding to aerodynamics and also serving as weapons.
Weaknesses: R1 is actually easy to manipulate after the intimidation factor is bypassed and the manipulator plays with his ego. R1’s adaptation system does not work for psionics, magic, energy and other supernatural attacks. If his is caught with electricity while he has any openings, he will short circuit and shut down temporarily until he fixes himself. He hesitates against partially or fully mechanical enemies.
