If you can't remember, this is one of my old characters. I can't really remember him enough to get a perfect re-do, but here it goes. I probably won't have him finished tonight. He was originally my character for EJP's "Quest for the Un-Holy Grail" RP.
Name: Allen Peden
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Power Level: High-tier low
Timeline: Modern
Appearance: 6-foot tall with an average build. Short black hair. Usually has an annoyed look. Sharp brown eyes. Slowly cultivating a 5 o'clock shadow in resemblance to Indiana Jones. Usually wears a jacket, T-shirt, and cargo pants.
Personality: Slightly annoyed most of the time. Anti-social. Hates being called Al. Pretty clever.
History: Still planning. Will involve mages, demons, a Terminator quote, and a "Flaming Holy Lead Pipe +3".
Powers: He can use a variation of the "Black Blade of Disaster" spell from one of the Baulder's Gate games. Basically, he can summon his very own black, wavy light saber. Technically though, its a sword-shaped rift he can use like a sword.
Whatever the sword touches (besides Allen) gets a one-way trip to another plane of existence where it's not likely to come back. However it only affects what it immediately touches, giving it the appearance of the incinerating-quality of the light saber. It is a little over three feet long, from "hilt' to tip.
The sword's activation is like a switch. Allen activates it by concentrating on an image of the sword extending from his grip. It usually takes a second. He pictures this in his head, so it is interruptible. To deactivate it, he concentrates on picturing it receding into his hand. This also takes him only a second.
Practice with it and and long sticks has made him skilled with it, somewhere between "master" and "above-average".
Allen is also pretty clever and has above-average intelligence. Impromptu weapons come easily to him, along with other skills.
Weapons: The sword and anything else he can use to fight with.
Weakness: His sword is constantly draining him while activated. He would slip into unconsciousness with 2 straight hours of using it. It deactivates immediately if he is knocked unconscious, because it could otherwise drain him to the point of draining his internal organs of all their energy.
