Cid Warrison
Timeline: Modern
Power Level: Low (Maybe Mid)-Tier High
Species: Human/Water Elemental
Allignment: Lawful Evil
Appearance: Wears a black leather jacket over a navy blue shirt. Has dark blue eyes and hair. His skin has a somewhat bluish tint to it. He has black pants that are easy to move in. He has a nasty scar down his right eye that glows a dim and murky green every now and then. When in the academy, he wears a long black robe with a silvery blue trim on it.
Personality: He stays very composed and calm in many situations. He believes in teamwork, but will only work with those weaker than him, as he will most likely double cross them once their usefulness expires. He is quite intelligent and knows to use both his head and his brawn as a team, instead of just zealously working on one.
Powers: Cid has total control over water, he can use it as a weapon by crystallizing it and morphing it into whatever shaped he needs. He doesn’t need to breathe in the water and he can also summon water in any of its forms (ice, liquid and vapour) to suit his needs. He can use it as an attack by pressurizing it and it is used in his most deadly attack, Poseidon’s Divide.
Psionics: Cid has a very good grasp on ESP. He can psychically manipulate anything as large as a small school bus (those ones that are about half the size of a regular one). He can manipulate people to a very small point, not enough to manipulate those above a mid-tier low power level. His mind is completely impossible to read by your average psychic. Only a powerful psychic, (like Owen, for example) would be able to read his mind. He can use telepathy and mind reading well.
Magic: Other than water, Cid can also use electricity, earth and plants with similar, but still less, effectiveness. He has no skill with fire, holy, and unholy magic.
Resistances: Cid is immune to dark or unholy magic, and water does more good for him than harm. Weapons dark and unholy properties still do normal damage, but any added details are negated, they just work like normal weapons.
Combat: Cid is a very accomplished swordfighter, he can utilize inhuman speed for multiple strikes, while it may look like he has only made one. Water does not hinder his movement, so he can wield a weapon just as effectively, if not better, when submerged. This is another skill taken advantage of in Poseidon’s Divide.
Poseidon’s Divide: Cid’s deadliest move. Cid will trap the enemies in a large body of water, right before they drown, he will freeze the water and slice through the ice several times before he dissipates the ice.
Weaknesses: Since Cid is much better near a body of water, his performance on very dry land can be lacking. He is also quite weak against fire and heat type attacks, like lasers or energy blasts.
History: Cid was the son of both a superhero and a female villain he managed to win over from evil. Cid was believed to have no powers of his own, and his parents didn't demonstrate their's, so he lived rather normally. One day while Cid was at school, a terrible storm hit his family's small house on the water. Cid's father and mother were thought to have been lost to the depths. It was then, after some poor kid insulted him for now being an orphan, that Cid's powers were unlocked in a berserker's rage. To this day, that same person is still dreadfully afraid of water, even a glass of the liquid horrifies him. Cid went into seclusion, not being tracked down by the authorities that should've taken him to a foster family. The young man honed his power, finally deciding that if that one boy was so rude, the rest of the world should be taught a lesson on his expense. Cid became a self proclaimed supervillain. However, all his attempts of domination were thwarted by the same hero. Finally, Cid did what seperates him from many villains, he started learning from his mistakes. Cid eventually defeated his nemesis, only to find out that it was his father, who survived when his mother used all her power to keep him alive.
Eventually a small group of similarly gifted villains tracked down Cid and asked him to come with them to an academy they were part of so that he can share his experience. Eventually he became a professor, and very recently with the assassination of the former leader, the headmaster of Doomsday Academy.
