Name: Urnab Regned
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Species: Nu Mou
Timeline: Medieval
Power Level: Varies
Allignment: Neutral
Appearance: Urnab is a Nu Mou, which are dog-like humanoid creatures with long floppy ears. Urnab is a greyish brown colour, with an overgrowth of orange fur on his tail. His outfit reaches the ground, so all his features save his face, ears, hands and half of his tail are hidden. He has a gold ring on one of his stubby fingers and his ears each have a large hole in them, which is used for his grey, bell like earrings. He wears a black hat that is made to almost look as though he has a pair of horns. He wears a green robe with a black jacket on top.
Personality: A very smart man, Urnab is the guiding voice of experience in Cassandra's Clan. He is the Ivalice equivalent of her father, Ruban Degren, though he has no memory of being the girl's father and she does not recognise him. He is very calm and looks at all sides of a situation. Despite his thoughtful exterior, Urnab is a man of action and dislikes being in situations were taking action is not an option.
History: When St. Ivalice was transmorgified into Mewt Randell's dream world of Ivalice, pretty much anyone he knew was morphed as well, taking the forms of the people of Ivalice. Of course, they are not the sole population. The forms these people took were often based on Mewt's standing with that person, explaining why his friend Ritz got her wish and why three of the people that constantly harassed Mewt wound up as mindless undead. Mewt met Colin's father a few times, but found him to be a fairly intelligent and competant individual. As such, Ruban was granted the form of a Nu Mou. Urnab studied to be a White Mage "at a young age". And soon worked as such, alongside the role of a Beastmaster. He wished to be the owner of his own monster bank "all his life". Cassandra's clan met him in the Nu Mou city of Cadoan, where he fought alongside them after a small group of crazed Chocobo broke out of a nearby ranch. Urnab, seeing Cassandra as a troubled youth in need of some elderly guidence, joined Clan Masfem. He pledged his services as a Morpher and soon became the trusted confidant of almost all of the Clan members. While not exactly old by Nu Mou standards, he is the voice of experience in the Clan, having worked in several other ones before.
Weapon: His weapon as a Nu Mou is the soul of an Ahriman. On first glance, it appears to be a black and navy blue glass orb. Upon usage as a weapon, it takes a firey and almost energy like state. It has multiple uses, the most important being a type of third eye.
Powers: Morphing: Urnab can take the form of several different monsters, acquiring their powers along with it.
Goblin: Not exactly the best transformation, Urnab becomes a small, humanoid creature with big ears. The power of the Goblin lies in its mana draining Magic Hammer attack, it's sharp fangs and its mean right hook.
Flan: The Creme, Ice Flan and Jelly are all strong, amorphous, semi-solid creatures. The yellow Creme is alligned with electricity, the blue Ice Flan is alligned with ice, and the red Jelly is alligned to fire. Attacking one of the three flans with their respective element will only heal them. Flans are practically invulnerable to physical attacks. The best way to harm them is to attack with magic, but not of the same element. In addition to powerful spells, Flans can use a status inflicting Acid.
Bomb: The Bomb and Gernade are sentient fireballs. The Bomb is red and the Gernade is blue. Bombs are fueled by fire, so attacking them with it is useless. Gernades work in the opposite, operating off cold energy. Bombs use powerful flame attacks while Gernades use the icy Chill attack. Both of these creature have one thing in common, the explosive Blowup maneuver. Blowup is a powerful strike, but will of course leave Urnab hurting.
Dragon: Powerful reptiles, the Dragon uses Fire, Electric and Freezing Breath. Dragons also have access to three powerful spells, Dragon Force, which pumps up all attributes, Mighty Gaurd, which greatly strengthens an ally's defensive power, and Gaurd Down, which lowers an enemy's defense.
Lamia: Odd women with several body features like a snake, including a cobra like attachment on the back of the head and a snaky lower body. Lamias are rumoured to be able to become full human woman and full snake. They have suductve powers, but their true ability comes from the skill to poison enemies and turn them into frogs. Lamias can also use a spell called Twister, which works similar to Demi, a gravity spell that cuts an enemy's health in half. Lamias also have a spell called Night, which puts everyone in the vicinity, friend and foe, to sleep.
Antlion: The Antlion is a giant, thick skinned spider with powerful jaws. Antlions can blind enemies, lower their defense and conjure a powerful sandstorm.
Panther: Panthers are good for offense, they can raise an allies speed with a move similar to Cassandra and Dennis'es Haste spell, they can use Poison Claws, they can turn an enemy into stone with their Blaster attack (not going to do in RPs), and their claws and teeth are very sharp. On the downside, they are a bit frail.
Floateye: Floateyes are giant eyeballs with dragon like legs, wings and a tail. They use their eyes and powerful Dark element magic to weaken an enemy with blindness, confusion and silence.
Nu Mou Powers: Control: Urnab can place a temporary mind control spell over any of the species listed above, as well as the undead. This is not garunteed, and is only for a short time.
Astra: Confers a one time immunity to unnatural status effects, like poison or induced slumber.
Meteor: A powerful energy attack, a very expensive spell.
Rasp: A spell attacking an enemy's voice.
Flare: A powerufl spell striking with an intense temperature spike and explosion. There is a more powerful version called Giga Flare.
Poison: Unleashes noxious gases.
Toad: When sucessful, temporarily turns the target into a toad.
Shell/Protect: Protective spells. Shell reduces damage from magic while Protect does the same for weapons.
Cure: Heals wounds, the bigger the wound, the more magic required.
Life: Revives the unconcious and the very recently dead.
Fire/Thunder/Blizzard: Three spells of the thunder, fire, and ice elements each, each one varying in intensity.
Prominence: A heat based spell that has a large attack area.
Tempest: Summons a powerful thunderstorm that covers a large attack area.
Freezeblink: An ice spell that uses a blizzard with a large attack range.
Star Cross: A holy/light element spell that covers a large area.
Stardust: Calls down a meteor storm.
Deluge: A water spell that floods a large area.
Soil Evidence: An earthquake attack that flings up dirt and rock everywhere.
Drain: A spell that attacks and absorbs health from an enemy.
Ultima Blow: Focuses powerful magic into the Ahriman Soul, which is then released with a large blast of energy.
Weaknesses: Nu Mou: Weak against strong physical attackers, once his magic is used up, he can't fight well.
Goblin: The goblin is a weak creature, it's attacks aren't impressive compared to the other monsters. Ranged attacks can take it down easy.
Flan: Magic attacks can decimate a Flan, easy. Also, those that are strong against magic won't have much trouble bringing it down.
Bomb: Water and ice attacks. (Or in the Gernade's case, fire.)
Dragon: Dragons are a tad slow, and they can be overpowered by a faster enemy.
Lamia: Female enemies fare better against their seduction, and resistances to their status effects can mean an easy win.
Bug: Fire attacks and magic can topple the Antlion.
Panther: Panthers are frail, a few strong hits can take on down.
Floateye: Holy magic is strong against a Floateye, and of course, the eye is a very sensitive organ.
Also, Urnab can't just change from any monster at a whim, for example, if he becomes an Ice Flan and is encountered with a fire enemy, he can't just swap over to a Jelly immediately.
