Name: Nox Marcel
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Timeline: Modern
Appearance: A stick thin young man with frizzy blonde hair. Nox wears a pair of small glasses that are always low on his nose. He carries a sturdy walking stick with him at all times. He wears desert camouflage pants and a beige shirt. He is almost always dusty and sandy from his constant excursions.
Personality: Nox can be blunt at times, always conveying his true feelings, no matter how nasty. Nonetheless, he is a good partner to have with you. He has the deepest interest in ancient civilizations and extinct and legendary pokemon. Nox is a better battler and strategist than Sophia, though his team is unbalanced and he has less badges. Nox leans toward psychic and poison type pokemon.
History: Nox comes from Lavaridge. He expressed deep interest in archeology at a young age, while showing no particular care for training. His family went on vacation in Kanto, and that is where his father caught his first pokemon, Ekans. Nox and Ekans became fast friends, and it was only the pair's almost mirrored personalities that led to Nox catching more. Nox also met the girl Sophia Zewin while in Kanto. Once back from the vacation, Nox immediately set to work on capturing more companions. While Nox spends more time studying than training his teams, his allies are quite powerful, though some choose not to evolve.
Powers: Nox is fairly good in traversing over rough terrain.
Pokemon:
Arbok / Poison / Male
Nox's first pokemon, and practically mirrors his master to perfection. He has a sharp tongue, and unlike several loudmouths, he's got a nasty bite to back it up. He does soften up with his teammates at times, but for the most part the others are still trying to figure out what's worse, the snake's vicious commentary or his lethal skill
Grimer / Poison / Male
Grimer claims to be Tentacruel's "consultant", and for some strange reason, one can't shake the idea that the two must be part of some sort of bizarre pokemon mafia. Grimer and Kirlia take the cake as the ultimate odd couple, and the sludge claims that the reason he hasn't evolved is because the two are waiting for the right time to evolve together.
Kadabra / Psychic / Male
Kadabra is a strange one. His abilities are quite impressive, and he very well could be the strongest member of Nox's team. However, the poor fellow is a mental train wreck, breaking down in sadness, rage, and everything in between. It's gotten to the point that he responds to only two things, harsh criticism and overwhelming sympathy.
Kirlia / Psychic / Female
Kirlia is fairly giddy and girly in most manners. She's incredibly polite to everyone, even someone like Arbok. She's head over heels for Grimer, and the two seem to epitomize the stereotypical "lovey dovey" couple, despite Grimer's... mobster-like attitude. She's fairly good with strangers, except with other psychics, which she seems to shy away from for some reason.
Starmie / Water/Psychic / Genderless
A truly enigmatic, or just plain wierd creature. Starmie frequently keeps to itself. However, the teammates that do speak to it realise that the star seems to think of itself as some sort of prophet or philospher. Starmie shares its "wisdom" with those who listen, but it usually ranges from the typically obvious ("The more you stomp on a pancake, the flatter it gets."), to the utterly nonsensical ("If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is around to hear it, the stock market is in risk of collapsing.")
Seviper / Poison / Female
Seviper is a thinker and a talker, carrying out a conversation about anything you please. She typically let's the person she's talking to carry the conversation at their pace, and offers friendly feedback when they ask for it. It's because of this openness that Seviper is seen as the team's confidant.
Reserves:
Gallade / Psychic/Fighting / Male
A noble and honourable warrior. Gallade is a knightly figure that seems to be out to prove that chivalry is not dead. Like the others of his evolutionary line, Gallade enjoys dancing, but rather than the graceful movements of his evolutionary counterparts, it reflects his true, battle hungry nature, creating a high energy spectacle that can only be described as a bloodthirsty war dance. Gallade does have a stubborn streak, and tends to keep fighting until he literally can no longer stand, and even then refuses to stop.
Tentacruel / Water/Poison / Male
Tentacruel is a manipulative creature. Where Grimer can be described as the right hand man in a criminal organization, Tentacruel easily passes as the "Don". He is always looking for the right deal to make and is frequently entrusting unusual errands on the teammates he claims to "trust". Overall, he seems about as strange as Starmie.
Roserade / Grass/Poison / Female
Roserade is "tomboyish", if one could actually apply that term to a pokemon. She seems dead set on improving at everything she does, particularily fighting and dislikes dancing with a passion. She views Gallade as her "eternal rival", and while she always loses against the knightly pokemon, she's always back for more, hell-bent on surpassing him.
Weapons: None, unless you count his walking stick.
Weakness: Normal human. Has to rely on his pokemon to do the dirty work.
