Name: Zoe Frois
Age: 10
Gender: Female
Species: Human (Fused with what appears to be Moogle)
Timeline: Modern
Power Level: Low-Tier Medium (Her cymbals grant her a mid-tier medium attack)
Allignment: Lawful Good
Appearance: Zoe seems to be growing into an athletically gifted young woman, as she's a bit taller than what Seth was at her age. She visibly seems to be built after Cassandra, but it's hard to tell, since she's still prepubescent and there's no picture of a ten-year old Cassandra to work off of. There are big differences, though. Zoe has glasses, and instead of Cassandra's sandy brown hair, she has the same carrot top hair as her father, as well as his grey eyes. Her hair goes down to her shoulders, and is always combed neatly. She was privileged to wear her mother's Ribbon, and she always makes sure she has it in a neat bow on her head. On the outside, she looks like a normal human. However, upon close inspection, one can find a second pair of short, fuzzy ears carefully camouflaged in her hair. She also has a pair of small, dragon-like wings on her back that stretch down to her waist. Fortunately, they typically go unnoticed when they are under her clothes. Zoe's cheeks are always rosy, and they have tiny cat like whiskers, but they are all but noticeable.
Personality: A fairly gifted girl, Zoe is quite clever and insightful for her age, especially when it comes to music, where she can practically be considered a prodigy. She typically clues into things adults don't mostly because her solutions to problems are so simple-minded that only a child would bother to bring them up. This doesn't mean that she can only find the basic answers; she just has a knack at knowing how much effort she should put into a problem. She's very bubbly and playful. She shares Seth and Glenn's penchant for mischief, but in different, more "effeminate" ways. Most times her devious acts aren't meant to annoy or amuse, but rather "help". Despite her intelligence, she's still clearly the "princess" of the family. She places Cassandra on a higher pedestal than the young Seth placed Glenn and Cassandra combined.
History: The second child of Glenn and Cassandra Frois. Zoe is, in every way, a complete and total accident. Everything about her birth was a shock, especially to Cassandra, who has an inexplicable phobia of pregnancy, giving birth, and having something inside her. (While the causes of this fear are unknown, Cassandra murmurs something about the movie Alien before going into the fetal position when she is addressed on the subject.)
But that’s not the only way that Zoe was an accident and a shock. Glenn, eventually backed into a desperate corner in the fight to keep his wife calm throughout pregnancy, tried to use his powers to superimpose happy memories and feelings into her mind. However, each time he did this, his powers were adversely affecting both his wife and his unborn daughter. Finally, Glenn had accidentally overdid the ability, and forced Cassandra into a state where her happy thoughts and feelings completely took over.
In short, Glenn had accidentally turned his wife into a moogle, the epitome of her “warm, fuzzy feelings”.
Before Glenn could reverse this, Cassandra went into labour. Deciding it would probably be best if he used his powers only after his wife had given birth, Glenn was forced to personally deliver a bouncing, baby moogle girl. Despite his currently happiness-intoxicated wife’s request, Glenn attempted to change the two back. While his wife made an almost instant and complete recovery, their daughter was not completely turned human. As it would turn out, Glenn’s powers had affected the girl before Cassandra, and her duration in that state had made certain aspects of her body irreversible.
Fortunately for Zoe, most of her moogle features were easily covered up. The wings were easily hidden underneath clothing, and Glenn could create the illusion that they weren’t there on the rare occasion where covering up with clothes was not possible. Her whiskers, while they couldn’t be removed, were certainly shrunk down. The girl’s shortness was cured, as Glenn very discreetly and carefully altered her height. And thankfully, the antennae and bonbon that Moogles are renowned for was terminated.
However, there was still a big problem with the ears. Zoe had four ears, and as such, her hearing was very strange. Certain noises she could pick up so well it was literally painful, while other times she would be receiving noise from so many different points she got sick. This is where her power of audiokinesis originated. Cassandra, not wanting Glenn to use his powers on Zoe anymore, took her daughter and approached the last person she ever wanted to see again, Karen Jameson.
At first, Cassandra thought that approaching Karen, despite her obvious scientific prowess, was lunacy. However, it was Karen that approached her first. Cassandra deduced that the Karen she spoke to was not the same one that had kidnapped her on her wedding day. In fact, Cassandra thought that may even literally be true. Eventually, Cassandra decided she’d find the Karen she had met and try to make a deal with her.
Finding the scientist was surprisingly easy, and convincing her to help was somehow easier. The ex-villainess warmly greeted Cassandra and Zoe with wide arms, completely devoid of hidden weaponry, as well. It was then that she offered to help Zoe with her hearing, ushering a young girl, who Cassandra speculated to be an apprentice, out of her lab and setting to work.
In the few days that followed, Karen taught Zoe some basics on the psychokinetic art of audiokinesis. Once the moogle girl had learned enough to keep herself from getting hurt, she and Cassandra went back home. Karen encouraged Zoe to keep practicing, though, and a few years later, she anonymously sent a pair of cymbals to her as a gift. It was clear to both Zoe and Cassandra who made the cymbals, as they seemed to be specifically designed to be in tune with Zoe’s powers. Glenn however, was left in the dark on the entire thing, and is still unaware what transpired with his wife and the alternate universe replica of the person he hates most in the world.
Powers: Audiokinesis: Manipulation of sound. Zoe can control how sound operates, and can even use it as a "projectile" attack. She will take an object and make noise with it, creating an actual physical attack with the sound. Not to mention, the sound itself is greatly distracting. The attack changes in power and properties depending on the object.
If her wings are unhindered, Zoe can fly for a very short amount of time. Even at full energy, she won't get very far or very high with her physical strength and the size of her wings.
Weapons: Anything that can make a noise. Typically, she won't be carrying her cymbals around with her, but for some reason those seem to have the biggest firepower.
Weaknesses: She's still ten, after all. She's no super genius kid, just clever. Most adults will still be able to outthink her. She is over powered easily, since she's a child. She goes nuts and starts weakly and aimlessly flailing if you grab her by her moogle ears.
