Name: Mia Degren/Mia Leustir
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Species: Human with a strain of dragon
Timeline: Medieval
Power Level: High-Tier Medium
Allignment: Lawful Good
Appearance: Mia is a charming young woman with a rather gifted figure. However, she tends to hide it with boyish clothing or armour. She's typically wearing an outfit that is typically considered male in her society. However, there are times where she's willing to compromise. During those times, she wears a sky blue woman's doublet under a burgandy chestplate and a dark violet cape, with a darker blue skirt, though the cut on it can almost be considered at miniskirt level. She has olive green hair that is tied up into a long ponytail that goes all the way to her hips, and almost freakishly bright blue eyes. She almost always has a sword hanging by her hip, in spite of her parent's urges to have her look at least a little ladylike.
Personality: Much to the dismay of a few, Mia inheirited the fiery determination and outspoken brazenness of both her mothers. She has a silver tongue, and she has no reservations about using it. She's certainly not one that likes being judged on anything, especially something like her class or her parent's orientation. She is fairly optimistic and happy, only seeking her personal best and not what others expect of her. She is a very good friend, and the people she cares about rarely recieve the brunt of her temper, just like Cassandra. She also seems to have developed a streak of deviousness and manipulative ability. One could guess that she got it from Farrah, or maybe even the strain of dragon in her veins, but it's certainly behaviour Cassandra's never exhibited. She also has an amazing soft spot for small animals, especially reptilian ones.
History: The biological daughter of Cassandra Degren and Farrah Leustir, in an alternate universe where Cassandra was able to go with Farrah to her world. While this sentence on its own makes Mia's very existance absolutely impossible, there is more to the story.
As stated above, Cassandra was brought back to Farrah's world. With her girlfriend's urging, Farrah came out to her parents, confessing that she was a homosexual, and that she loved and was loved by Cassandra, whom they previously believed to be nothing more than a good friend and bodygaurd. In the complete opposite to what Farrah believed and feared, her mother and father were more understanding than she could have ever hoped, stating quite simply that even though they probably could never truly understand Farrah's choice, she was still a wonderful daughter, and they could certainly do much worse than having an otherwise wonderful daughter with an alternative lifestyle. Naturally, this confession was still something of a family secret. While they didn't exactly go directly out and state what Cassandra's relation to Farrah was, they made her an honourary member of the family. It was then that Farrah suggested that she and Cassandra have a child together.
Like any person with common sense, Cassandra was immediately floored and confused at the claim, knowing good and well that two women couldn't concieve together. It was only after a talk with her "father-in-law" that she found out what the princess meant. Their world, beign quite skilled with magic and the sort, had a very fascinating process, somewhat similar to in-vitro fertilization, where the "signatures" (or magical core, you could say) of two people could be taken, and then worked with to create an unborn child with their own unique "signature" based on the "parents", thus creating a biological child. While it was normally used for nobles that were seemingly hopeless and desperate on getting an heir, Farrah speculated that it could probably work on two people of the same gender that wanted a child.
After a huge amount of convincing and cocering, Cassandra finally agreed to have a child with Farrah. (Though it was very clearly stated by the templar that she would not be the one giving birth, considering the phobia she has of it.) The entire process was kept under heavy wraps, but it was successful... almost.
Unknown to both parents, the mages in charge of the project made a small mistake, accidentally adding part of an ancient signature that was being researched. The signature of a dragon. While there were seemingly no negative affects, and the child looks normal for the most part, there is still the fact that she is part dragon.
At first, everyone tried to cover up the true nature of Mia's brith. However, news of who her "father" was eventually came out, and Farrah was forced to finally expose her secret for good. Fortunately, her parents kept a very firm grip on the social uproar this caused, and by the time Farrah and Cassandra were made Queen, the civil unrest was under control, albeit the public opinion of the two was... critical, to say the least. This was not to say that everyone is in unanimous agreement that Mia and her parents are freaks of nature, but the girl has certainly grown up facing some ignorance and hostility, perhaps fanning the flames of her independant nature.
Mia constantly hangs around people like her uncle Gerard and the head mages, so she's grown to be something of a warrior herself. She accquired sword known as the Wyvern's Talon when she was sent traveling with Gerard. The two had encountered two warring dragons, and after realising that the losing dragon was defneding her young, they helped her in her fight. The Wyvern's Talon was a gift from the mother dragon. Mia goes by both Mia Degren and Mia Leustir, but she prefers the former for some reason.
Powers: Mia's abilities stem from spells and special attacks, like Cassandra.
Balmunc Slash: Creates a saber from diabolical, shadowy flames, and then unleashes a wave of attacks on the enemy.
Jump: Mia launches herself into the air with an amazing jump, and then comes crashing down on the enemy some time later... weapon first.
Knightsbane: Designed especially for armoured enemies, Mia unleashes a flurry of jabs and stabs as her sword becomes progressively hotter, eventually gathering a small, localized temperature spike at the tip. The heat and penetration power on this is amazing, being able to puncture most armour in the first few jabs.
Flame Cloud: Mia brings her hands together and unleashes a large stream of flames from them.
Snow Cloud: Similar to Flame Cloud, except Mia fires off a white mist that deals considerable ice element damage and starts freezing the enemy.
Electric Cloud: Also like Flame Cloud, unleashes a black, electrically charged smoke that shocks the enemy for as long as they're in it.
Flametongue: Fire erupts from the tip of Mia's sword, creating a trail of fire from it when its swung. After a short amount of time, the trail bursts in an explosive blast.
Breath of Wyvern: Creates a whirling fire tornado from underneath the enemy.
Grand Cross: Creates nine white, blinding fireballs in an X pattern, and then fires them. The flames explode on contact and are imbuned with holy energy.
Dragon's Spirit: A spell in constant effect. The longer Mia fights, the stronger she gets. This is also overlapped by how much damage she's taken, adding more and more stamina and power the more she is injured. Thus, staying in a fight for a long time with Mia is very dangerous.
Cleansing Fire: Creates soothing, blue flames that have healing properties, rather than damaging ones.
Vapour Banishment: Creates scaldingly hot steam around Mia, so hot that it can cause damage. Each strike she gives makes a burst of similar steam while she's in this state. Oddly, causes both water and fire elemental damage.
Razing Holocaust: Creates a massive temperature spike and fire pillar around the enemy. The pillar lasts for a long time, and often leaves nothing but ashes behind.
Weapons: Wyvern's Talon: A special sword that Mia wields. It's an elegant rapier/sabeur, crafted from what seems to be yellowing ivory. Despite this look, it is very strong and durable, and quite shiny. It is an empowered weapon, enchanted to be even stronger when exposed to fire. (But not ones created by Mia's powers, that's cheating). It's also enchanted to be cause devastating damage to humans and dragonkin (dragons, wyverns, serpents, etc.). This means humans specifically, not just humanoids.
Weaknesses: Mia's weak against water, aside from her powers, she's a normal person, meaning she has no phyiscal enhancements unless it's required by her attacks. She's sluggish in cold weather.
