-Name: Gabriella Sabrina Fizzart-Sequillo (First Name, Middle Name, Mother's second surname-Father's second surname)
-Age: 238 mentally; 23.8 physically
-Gender: Female
-Race: Human
-Alignment: True Neutral
-Power Level: 5
-Timeline: Medieval
-Appearance: Gabriella has long grey kair that she keeps up in two pigtails with black bows with metallic rosaries on each of them. Hair clips adorned with black roses help hold spare strands that may have gotten loose. One of her brown eyes seem to be as warm and as captivating to look at as chocolate, while the other one is hidden behind an eye patch that has a red X on it.
She has a fair complexion complemented by a sturdy body-type. Her buxom figure is often accentuated despite her gothic lolita clothing style. Gabriella is a rather short girl, measuring at only 5' 2", and is rather light-weighted at only 103 pounds.
She wears a somewhat loose black dress with a red rose embroidered on the front. Her nails are painted a deep, vivid red. Her left wrist is covered with many bangles and bracelets of varying shades of grey, as well as a few bangles that are black-colored. Her right wrist is covered with a black arm guard made of what appears to be leather and metal (the leather overlaps the metal on top and bottom... like the filling in a donut!)
Her dress continues down past her knees to nearly her ankles, billowing out with even the slightest breeze. She wears two inch high heels which are ruby-colored, although they seem to have no sheen to them.
Gabriella's attire is rarely varied. When it changes, though, it can range from t-shirts to blouses and from skirts to jeans.
-Personality: Gabriella's personality is quite an eclectic type. Many find it hard to tell whether she is a die-hard Negative Nelly or if she just has an extremely morbid, dark sense of humor. Most think she has both. Pessimistic? Oh yeah. Cynical? Definitely. Nihilistic? Of course. Either way, Gabriella is one of the few people who can predict doomsday with a smile and be able to tell a joke in the same sentence.
Silent and mysterious, Gabriella tends to draw attention to herself. She does occasionally speak to people but mainly she will wait for a person to approach her first. However, once you gain her trust, you will find out she really isn't as different from other people as her appearance may first imply... that is, if you can get past her many negative, nihilistic quirks.
Gabriella may be doomsday-predicting and obsessively morbid in her jokes, but she's highly-intelligent and level-headed in her logic and decision making. Oftentimes, despite her morbid, pessimistic, sardonic, cynical view of the world, she tends to treat everyone indifferently. She has a habit of sitting back, watching people with interest as they most likely ruin their lives trying to be different... if anything, just for the purpose of saying, "I told you so!". Most likely, she sits out because she believes that she can hardly get herself into a worse situation if she doesn't do anything.
In the somewhat rare occasion she is in conversation with people, she is often insensitive to other people's feelings. She can be blunt about her own thoughts and feelings, valuing truth over someone's happiness. To her, the truth must be told, even if they hurt the feelings of someone else.
In return, she's impulsive and emotional. Oftentimes, she'll play practical jokes and continues to act in her macabre, eccentric ways just to pass the time. She doesn't hold grudges and she doesn't think too negatively of other people, simply because she believes that in time, everyone dies and a simple crush or grudge will not change that.
However, on the extremely rare occasion Gabriella does make a friend, it is a friend for life. Once the trust barrier has been bypassed, Gabriella is a trustworthy friend who will keep a secret until her death, unless there is a very important reason to divulge it (to this day, she has only divulged one secret, which has actually saved the life of a friend and a few others). She enjoys writing poetry, reading books, and has little experience with a bow (not enough to use as a weapon... as she probably is more likely to shoot an ally than an enemy). Her manner of speech, while sometimes concise and morbid, is formal. Her voice is rather high-pitched, and her laughter can occasionally bring shivers up a person's spine (much to her saddened displeasure).
Gabriella also tends to use larger, more complex vocabulary words in her speech... this is for the purposes of furthering her intelligence even further. The fact that it annoys other people is merely a "casual side-effect in the quest for knowledge". Her appearance may seem untidy at times, because she feels she really has no use doing "girly things".
Gabriella is slow to temper, always trying her best to forgive anyone and everyone of their past misdeeds. She tends to apologize to her friends for anything that might be her fault, no matter how unlikely it may be.
-History: Gabriella was born into a somewhat well-to-do, upper-middle class family. Her mother was a rather famous interior designer for many aristocracies and her father was a famous comedian. Gabriella spent most of her young life traveling around with her father to his gigs. When she couldn't go with him, she'd often watch him live on television. This continued throughout her life until she turned 148 and moved far away to attend a pretegious university of arts. Her parents, although thrilled with her grades and intelligence, found her attitude toward graduation rather irritating. She would often say, "It is simply a celebration of mediocraty. I am simply moving from one level of education to another. There is no reason to celebrate."
Gabriella, despite her straight-A's throughout her entire life, took a dual-major in music education and magic research at the university. Originally going as a magical instructor, she felt her calling toward the world of music. It was her third year at the university when she attended the festival of the newly crowned King of the kingdom she was from. She went to the party more out of obligation than really wanting to be there. To her, the crowning was simply a passing of power from one mortal who will eventually die to another mortally who will eventually die later. Her parents, quite annoyed with her attitude of apathy toward the ceremony asked her what was wrong. She simply replied, "All mortals will die. All kingdoms will crumble. The only constant is death and decadence."
However, Gabriella opened up slightly when she had met a man named Chase Uhlind. He was a trombone and euphonium player for the band at the university and was a magic researcher like Gabriella. The two of them met, fell for each other, found out they shared the same ideals and hobbies, and... when they reached the legal age, he proposed to marry her. She accepted, possibly bringing one of the only true smiles she ever had in her life to her mouth.
One can only wonder that with such positive parents, a fiancée, and a brilliant mind, what can turn Gabriella into such an apathetic, nihilistic person with a quasi-indifference to everyone she encounters. As a child, while traveling with her father to his gigs, Gabriella often read many books, especially history books. At a young age, Gabriella began writing her own stories. As she wrote, she became fascinated with the intricasies of the side of evil and how the two sides of good and evil were really infinite shades of grey and that evil had many different complex histories. Wishing to have a more in-depth feel and experience on the side of evil, Gabriella went through a lot of mental exercises and meditation to somewhat psychologically “trick” her mind into thinking morally wrong or morally grey.
This was done by constantly repeating a mantra of some sort to somewhat try to "overwrite" her current life, morals, and reality with those that she created herself. Through her ongoing transformation, Gabriella started practicing and working with magical spells of the arcane and elder arts, as well as summoning, illusionary, and necromantic arts. She firmly believed that those who were of darkness wielded the weapons of darkness.
However, an adverse side effect of her venture to the side of evil left her struggling to retain her morals as a person. It finally came to a screeching halt when her moral ambiguities and almost split personality caused her to kill her fiancée at the time (hence the weakness) with leaving no traces or evidence. A powerfully crushing blow to her personality and her aspirations, she finally gained control of what seemed to be another personality blossoming in her and managed to barely get herself under control.
Although she had managed to not turn into a maliciously, ill-intentioned villainess herself, her morals and views in life were shattered and she oftentimes found herself on a split decision on every matter in life. To this day, she struggles to find her true identity.
In an attempt to try to balance herself from the evil tendancies she's scarred her personality with, she started to study magical spells in other fields. She started using her powers for the work of good and restricted her more powerful dark spells for dire circumstances. However, during a battle with another mage, two spells that were cast conflicted with each other, causing a portal to open and suck Gabriella inside. It threw her into an alternate universe, not as magically rich as her home world. She could feel it as she felt her life force start to be sucked out at roughly ten times the speed she did at home.
Struck with the horrific grim realization that one year in this world was ten years taken from her life and the realization she did not know what spell her opponent used opened the portal, along with her already ongoing conflicts with her personality caused her to finally just give up on life. Gabriella finally gave up and wandered the world, doing whatever she feels when she wants to simply to stay alive... though for what purpose, she doesn't know anymore.
-Powers: Gabriella has basic, generic spells, such as a fireball and thunderbolt in her arsenal. However, her more powerful spells are all specific and go as follows:
Non-Darkness Spells:
==Cloud Oubliette Posession-Gabriella conjures clouds that slowly cover the battlefield. However, unlike normal clouds, these clouds are made of thin micro-threads. Although these threads will hardly impede most units, they do prove to be quite cumbersome to high-speed opponents and those who rely purely upon their sense of sight for battle. Gabriella rarely uses this spell unless an ally asks for it or she fights in a battle alone.
==Angelic Glacier-A glowing glacier of ice juts out of the ground. If something comes into contact with it, whether a weapon, an attack, or a person, the glacier will respond by firing a beam of holy energy at the object which disturbs it. It's also cool as a Christmas decoration if Gabriella ever decides to shape the glacier into little Christmas tree ornaments or into other shapes.
==Assault Blazer-Gabriella chants a short, but complicated spell, causing a flaming pentagram to appear in front of her. A barrage of fireballs, brimstone, and globs of lava fly from the pentagram at the target that she is looking at. Allies, be wary that you don't attract her attention! The person she looks at automatically becomes the target for the barrage.
==Flash Inferno-Gabriella snaps her fingers and a white ball of hot fire simply floats in the air in a spot near her that she chooses. It can light a dark sky brilliantly or explode when something comes in contact with it. Gabriella can create and maintain a large quantity easily without much thought or concentration, but the downside is that she can only create one at a time. This can lead to swollen, raw, or painful fingers when snapping too much! Best to be economical and conservative.
==Annihilation Crasher-A dome (or sphere if she's in the air) of electricity conjures close around Gabriella and quickly expands to about a five meter radius from her. As soon as it hits the five meter radius, it disappears. This spell can be cast quickly at the cost of a great portion of magic or it can be cast using a longer spell, which takes more time but costs lesser energy. It's mainly used to push things away from her, which covers her short-range weakness... however, it comes at a cost and cannot be used that much.
==Sun Song/Lunar Lullaby-Gabriella sings a song that has a different effect during the different time of the day. During noon, the song causes the sun's rays to intensify, making the battlefield hotter and more unbearable, temperature-wise. During midnight, the song causes a bit of a drowsy, tiring feeling among those that hear it. Allies best wear earmuffs if battling at night. If cast at times other than noon or midnight, the effect of the spell is split, depending on what time it was sang. The closer to midnight, the less of the heat effect and the more of the lullaby effect comes into play and vice versa. The effects of the spell fade away if she stops singing. Being off-key or sharp or flat, which can happen if she's attacked and she sidesteps, can diminish the effect. The further off she is, the more the effect is diluted.
==Alchemy Mystical Jet: A stream of white energy flows from her fingers and points it at an object. This only works on basic, inanimate objects. As soon as the beam connects, she can choose to transform the object into something else, such as a rock into a golden sword. However, the objects must have the same mass, and since gold is more dense than rock, a large boulder might only produce a regular sized sword of pure gold (or silver). Great for outer space travel and there's not much oxygen left! Just transform a can of soda or something into oxygen for a little extra breathing time.
==Ivoric Seraphic Blast-Gabriella fires a blast of energy with properties of both light energy and holy energy. It's really quite an illuminating attack.
==Radiant Gale: Gabriella summons a white dragon to the battlefield and merges with it to become one entity. While merged with the dragon, Gabriella's eyes are closed and her full concentration is put onto the dragon. A powerful hit to the head will disrupt the spell and return the dragon. This spell requires preparation and casting time, due to the complex chant used to summon the dragon. The dragon is adept at close combat, but has horrible long-range combat ability. It has powerful clawing attacks and can bite hard enough to crush diamonds, but its only long range attack is shooting balls of light out of its mouth.
Darkness Spells (will not use unless for an absolutely morally good cause):
==Malevolent Illusionary Deluge-Gabriella attempts to trap the person in an illusion. When a person is trapped in an illusion, she cannot move or break eye contact with the person, allowing her to be extremely vulnerable. This move is best/only used on one-on-one fights or where she has an ally which can protect her. The illusion consists of manipulating the sensory nerves and causes the target to feel, see, taste, hear, and smell things which are not there. Rumor has it that some have gone crazy through the excruciating amount of “pain” felt in some of her illusions. Those with strong wills or strong minds can most likely shrug off this spell without even a thought. This mainly affects those with weak wills, weak minds, or those in a state of mental weakness.
==Beast Rider-Gabriella conjures a beast to ride while in battle. This “noble steed” can also fight while she concentrates on a spell. She prefers either a large tarantula or a large cobra.
==Cursed Phantom-Gabriella summons low-powered (roughly a low 4 in power level), high speed phantoms that run around the battlefield. They wield various weapons. They have no powers except for extreme speed. When struck by an attack, they fade into thin air.
==Umbra Ebon Eclipse-Gabriella can conjure a huge sphere around her, a maximum of a hundred meters in radius. The smaller the sphere, the more concentrated the spell is. Gabriella can lower the amount of radiant energy in the area. If the sphere's small enough, she can black out light completely, bringing in absolute darkness in the area.
==Swarming Plague-Gabriella holds her hands forward and a steady swarm of locusts flow out. The longer she conjures the swarm, the more magic will be drained from her. Every second takes more and more out of her.
-Equipment: Gabriella wields a baselard for close combat; she also has a Cho-Ko-Nu as a ranged weapon. Also, gabriella has a few bottles filled with a substance known as "Greek Fire” on her waist. She herself knows how to create it, though it seems she prefers to keep the secret to herself.
-Weakness: She hates close combat. Being a mage, Gabriella prefers long-range combat. Despite having a baselard for close combat, she is not too adept with it. She knows some parrying moves and some dodging maneuvers, but she has very low proficiency with it.
Gabriella also hates the sound of a trombone or a euphonium. It evokes a bit of a memory of her temporary collapse to the dark side and distracts her.
Being somewhat of a recluse, Gabriella also is somewhat... socially awkward.
Misc: Gabriella has a pet snake which follows her around when she is not in battle. It is not a poisonous snake and is rather friendly. When out of battle, Gabriella often has it wrapped around her shoulder or her neck. She can often be seen talking to it in a calm and friendly manner.
