Name: David Connor
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Power Level: Low
Timeline: Futuristic
Appearance: Connor is fairly handsome, but in an average sort of way. He's a fairly average 5' 11", with a toned build, and has thick, brown hair cut semi-short and combed over and blue eyes. On the rare instances he's not in his flight suit, he's usually in maintenance clothes and working on his mobile suit, though it's said he fills his officer's uniform quite well.
Personality: Connor usually has his mind on his gadgets, but on the battlefield, he's a quick critical thinker and strategist, thinking of any way he may best be able to push things to his advantage, be it in a mobile suit or in a diplomatic meeting. Despite this keen war mind, he's actually very dedicated to others and would risk his life for them if need be. He isn't actually fond of war, despite his talent for it, and while he won't hesitate to shoot down an enemy, he draws the line at women and children. He even will hesitate if he finds out his enemies ARE women or children. He lavishes attention on his mobile suit, always finding another tweak or modification to make. Most would encourage him to take some down time, but for him, working on the Lionheart is down time, and he enjoys losing himself in its circuits, equations, joints and cables. He finds it relaxing and mind-clearing. Much to the chagrin of his superiors, there have been numerous occasions when he has kept at it so late that he's gone to sleep in the suit's cockpit instead of returning to his quarters.
History: Connor has always been around the military life, as his father was a high-ranking officer with the Federation. It was of little surprise, then, when he joined the same field. He had always been fascinated with the mobile suits above all, and when he was sixteen, his family, wealthy due to his father's career, purchased the remains of an old Leo.
Connor fell in love with that pile of scrap. He analyzed, he disassembled, he saudered, often late into the night, until the break of dawn. And, much to his father's surprise as he came home one day, he turned it on.
It was of no harm to anyone, little more than a cockpit and some peripheral systems, but Connor even tinkered with those until he had it running battle simulations. By the time he was 18 and ready to enlist, he had a year and a half of cockpit experience already.
In flight school, he quickly shot to the top of the class, not with just his own skills, but soaking up those he was exposed to like a sponge, as well. He learned field tactics, flight maneuvers and weapons systems like others learned to tie their combat boots. As a graduation gift, his parents purchased a full retired Leo suit to replace his old scrap.
Full of ideas, Connor set to work, eventually rebuilding the suit's entire chassis, applying a new Neo Alloy hull, replacing the standard blaster with a bimodal one of his own, upgrading the beam saber to the latest issue, equipping a heavy gundanium shield on the left shoulder to slide down with a switch into a ready position, upgrading the cockpit, replacing the television head with a more mobile humanoid one, upgrading the radar and scanners, creating PAM - Probability Analysis Matrix - and replacing the dash thrusters on the back with a single, higher-output engine with fold-out sheet wings for aerial maneuverability. The mobile suit was his baby, and with one final act - a fresh paint job - it was ready for active duty as the one and only Lionheart.
Powers: None

Name: LNX-001 "Lionheart"
Age: N/A
Gender: N/A
Race: Mobile Suit
Alignment: N/A
Power Level: Low-tier High
Timeline: Futuristic
Appearance: A modified LEO mobile suit, the descriptive of "modified" is something of a misnomer. Though the Lionheart retains the stocky build of its ancestor, everything else about it is so removed as to be, for all practical purposes, another model entirely. Outwardly, it has a much more humanoid, rotating head with vulcan cannons, fold-out sheet style wings and a shoulder-mounted heavy shield, the only piece of Gundanium on the entire machine. Instead of the old standard army green paint job, the Lionheart is primarily royal blue with white and gold trim.
All this may not seem like much, simple modifications to a suit known for its modular flexibility. These outward changes are minor, however, compared to what's been changed inside. An upgraded cockpit also links to an experimental system Connor has built that he calls a Probability Analysis Matrix, or PAM for short. Frame, circuit, joint and hydraulic modifications have enhanced the machine's reaction time, while a new engine increases its speed and, alongside the wings, grants it atmospheric flight. The frame has been reinforced and the old, dated Leo armor has been replaced with a neo-alloy Connor has engineered. It's not nearly as strong as Gundanium, but it beats out the traditional titanium alloys used for stock mobile suit armor in both strength and weight, and is cheaper and easier to produce than the rare, expensive Gundanium alloy that can only be forged in zero gravity. Finally, because so many of its enhancements are experimental (hence the X in its serial), it has a more extensive sensor suite than normal. Though primarily for monitoring combat data for the purpose of working out system bugs, it is comparable to the equipment found on Command units and, if necessary, can function in a similar capacity.
David Connor also custom-designed the Lionheart's primary weapon, its Bimodal Energy Rifle. It is capable of firing concentrated, more powerful beams much like a buster rifle for use against hardened targets or advanced mobile suits or a dispersed, shotgun-like scattershot mode most effective against many weaker targets.
Personality: N/A
History: See Connor's
Powers: Increased reaction time and speed, sheet-style wings and thrusters for improved atmospheric flight, improved computer network, reinforced armor, old Leo armor is replaced with neo-alloy that David developed. Not as strong as Gundanium, but much stronger than standard materials and cheaper to produce. Possesses ZERO-like Probability Analysis Matrix (PAM) system and an extensive sensory array.
Weapons:
Left Arm - Heavy Gundanium Shield (Active Position)
Right Arm - Beam Sword, spring-loaded into the forearm
Head - Vulcan cannons mounted on either side of the top of the head
Left Hip - Bimodal Energy Rifle (Holstered Position)
Right Hand - Bimodal Energy Rifle (Armed Position)
Left Shoulder - Heavy Gundanium Shield (Passive Position)
Back - Booster Flight Pack
Weakness: It isn't as fast or maneauverable as many of the top-of-the-line supersuits, and since most of its equipment is still in the experimental stage, new additions aren't necessarily reliable.

Name: LNX-002 "Lionheart VOX" (Often called L2 or VOX for simplicity when distinguishing it from its predecessor)
Race: Mobile Suit
Power Level: Low-tier High
Timeline: Futuristic
Appearance: Though it maintains the color scheme signature of the Lionheart, majorly blue with gold and white trim, the VOX has an overall lighter frame, with a more humanoid build rather than the bulky, robotic one the original inherited from the Leo. It also possesses overly large, curved shoulder pauldrons to provide hard points for the disc-like shield system, which consists of half a dozen white, gold-trimmed discs on either pauldron. Replacing the cumbersome, inflexible sheet-wing flight pack is a quintet of armored thruster tubes, spread out like wings when active in flight mode and folded together at all other times.
History: David Connor loves his Lionheart. It's been the loyal companion he has always been able to rely on. But he also intimately knows its weaknesses, most notably that it's a host of beta tech attached to a horribly dated core. It's only a matter of time before another Ace in a next-generation mobile suit proves to be more than the old war dog can handle. It is a day he dreads, but one he knows he must prepare for.
Enter the Lionheart VOX.
Technically under construction for roughly as long as he's been remodeling the original Lionheart, the VOX is everything its predecessor promises with the limitations its weaknesses put on it stripped away. Each time something clears field tests on the Lionheart to his satisfaction, David installs it to the developing VOX. With greater payload capacity and capable of handling greater power output, it has everything its predecessor brings to a fight and more.
Nearly complete, or at least battle ready, as it's somewhat iffy if anything Connor builds is ever "complete" to his satisfaction, it still requires one critical component. Its higher performance demands a superior power core, and nothing short of a GN Drive will suffice. David has been pouring much of his intellect into figuring out how to construct one, but with no sample tech to innovate from at his disposal, he has not yet succeeded in reverse-engineering the technology. If he could do so, or if he could find a suitable core from an existing mobile suit, then the Lionheart VOX would be ready to launch in a day's time.
Powers: The Lionheart VOX boasts increased attributes in all fields over its predecessor. Being built entirely out of Neo Alloy with a chassis that better suits its battles, as well as improvements in nearly every system, including thrusters, weapons and even an accelerated version of P.A.M., it is faster, more agile, hardier and more powerful than the original Lionheart. The only area where it doesn't quite compare is sensors. Whereas the Lionheart was largely a beta project and needed intensive sensors to keep track of any potential errors, as a virtually finished project, VOX has sensors comparable instead to only a high-end mobile suit.
Equipment:
Power Supply - GN Drive (Required, to be completed)
Hull - Neo-Alloy, designed and developed by David Connor personally. Also the primary material in its chassis.
Operating System - P.A.M. 2.0
Main Weapon - Bimodal Mega Energy Rifle, Capable of a concentrated fire or a shotgun-like burst, overall output ten times that of the original Lionheart's rifle, attached via power cable to the body of the suit
Secondary Weapon - VOX Blade, developed to take full advantage, like the BMER, of the suit's powerful GN Drive, boasts a wider, larger blade capable of significantly greater output than traditional beam swords. This is hard-mounted on the outside of the left wrist.
Defensive System - Energy Shield Grid, formed when the discs are launched and uses them to form a grid of interlocking energy plates with a magnetic charge that repel or redirect hard round ammunition and nearly all but high-end beam weapons
Flight/Booster System - Armored Thruster Tubes. Realizing the vulnerability of the sheet-style flight pack of the Lionheart, Connor built five articulating thruster tubes onto the back of the VOX. These armored tubes can take greater damage and can still function even if the others are rendered inoperable.
Weaknesses: Technically a super suit potentially on par with a Gundam, the Lionheart VOX nonetheless has its drawbacks. Compared to its predecessor, it possesses a less extensive sensor array, comparable instead to a high-end mobile suit. Its main weapon, though the cable is plated in neo-alloy, runs primarily off of the suit's power core rather than its own rechargeable caps, and cannot function at anywhere near full power if that cable is severed, reduced to the level of its predecessor's BER and only for a short period of time. Finally, while its Neo-Alloy hull and chassis are superior to standard construction materials in terms of endurance and share Gundanium Alloy's strength of low weight, it isn't as durable or lightweight as the famous moon metal.
