Appearance: A man of Middle Eastern decent with darkened skin and black hair. Dennis has grown a slight beard and now wears a turban, much like his father. His eyes are grey. He normally wears either normal clothing, prefering a dark green, or millitary style camoflague.
Personality: Dennis is still wise beyond his years. He is very focused and approaches each challenge with guile and intelligence. He still has the heart of a child. He has deep interest in Middle Eastern music as well as Rock and Roll. Dennis enjoys challenging himself, and is the glue that has kept everyone from the old band in St. Ivalice together. He goes out of his way to check in on his old friends and has become a slight gossip.
History: For the ten years following his interdimensional escapades with Cassandra, Glenn and his father, Dennis was slowly starting to settle down. He eventually became almost a burden to the other three, no longer travelling with them. A few years after Dennis left high school, his mother died two weeks before he had recieved any word about it. This inspired him to make sure that he never missed out on anything his frineds and family were doing. It was then that Dennis went around to all of the college and universities that his old friends were going to, keeping tabs on them all and telling everyone how everybody else was. The one friend that he could not get ahold of was the one he was most interested about, Cassandra. It was then that Dennis recieved an invitation to the wedding of Cassandra and Glenn. This completely suprised Dennis, who had no idea of Glenn and Cassandra's feelings for eachother. Nonetheless, Dennis did what every good friend should and made his way to his old boss. It has been five years since that, and Dennis hasn't seen Cassandra since. He has decided that he needs to go out and find his old friend, setting out on another interdimensional journey.
Weapon: Two short swords, known as the Ebon Blade and the Adaman Blade. The Ebon Blade is a powerful sword with dark elemental properties, which makes it powerful against some creatures of the light, but makes it a poor defense against dark creatures. It has a black blade and a red hilt. The Adaman Blade is more powerful, being sharp enough to slice through even diamond, but it lacks any elemental properties. The blade is made out of a green, jewel like metal.
Powers: Bonecrusher: A counter attack. Energy from the enemy's strike is diverted to the swords, at which point Dennis will strike back for twice the damage the enemy's attack caused. Doesn't work for magic.
Blitz: Weaker than a normal hit, but the strike is made at an almost uncatchable speed, making it difficult to avoid.
Beatdown: The opposite of Blitz, Beatdown is an inhumanly powerful and lethal blow, but it lacks finesse and is easily dodged, making it a gamble.
Wild Swing: As suggested, Dennis makes a wild spin around, slicing anything close by with his two swords.
Backdraft: Dennis unleashes a powerful, fire element strike. However, Dennis recieves damage from the backdraft of the attack, hence the name.
Shock Wave: Creates a weak shock wave in a nearby location. Causing damage slightly weaker than a normal strike.
Air Render: Dennis strikes at air, manipulating it into carrying out the blow for him. Slightly weaker than the actual strike, but compensates with slight air element damage.
Powerbreak: An attack that also lowers an enemies strength temporarily.
Speedbreak: An attack that also slows the enemy down.
Mug: As the name suggests, attacks and also raids the enemy of valuables.
Sensor: Detects hidden and concealed weapons, or other belongings. Useful if Dennis doesn't want to fall for a sneak attack.
Dragon Force: Lets loose a powerful energy, raising Dennis' powers. This makes his attacks much stronger and gives him a much higher endurance rate.
White Wind: A spell that creates a soothing wind around Dennis and his allies that recovers health.
Magic Hammer: Dennis creates a phantasmic hammer and strikes with it, instead of causing actual physical harm, it destroys part of an enemy's magical power.
Blowup: A last resort, MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) attack. Dennis explodes in a suicide attack, causing a lethal blast, but knocking the young man unconcious in the process.
Angel Whisper: A very special spell, grants Dennis a one time safety from unconciosness and/or death.
Hastebreak: A technique that doubles the speed of either Dennis or an ally.
Bad Breath: A technique where Dennis conjures a very hazardous gas, causing random, but very bad, aftereffects, such as poison, temporary blindness, or lack of use in the limbs.
Holy Blade: An attack that coats Dennis' swords in a powerful holy light and unleashes said light upon striking.
Saint Cross: Similar to Wild Swing, Dennis sends out holy energy in four directions. The energy fades shortly after leaving Dennis, so it's good only for short range combat.
Sidewinder: An attack that is absolutely devastating to monsters and animals.
Aim: Vitals: An attack where Dennis strikes the vital organs, causing a random negative effect, much like Bad Breath, but with only one side-effect.
Steal: Dennis uses this to pilfer various goods, even during actual combat. This can even be used to disarm someone of their weapon or clothing.
Veil: An attack that's element varies, but causes a different side effect for each element. They are all quite weak compared to a good old fashioned attack, though...
Defense: A technique that Dennis can use in trouble. Basically a very efficient, magically boosted gaurd.
Cover: Dennis can choose one ally, and once selected, will be teleported to take a hit for that ally, and then get teleported back to where he was after getting hit, whether he likes it or not.
Sandstorm: Dennis' only Phantasm Skill, which he learned instead of Soil Evidence. In reality a technique he obtained from his father, Dennis creates a very painful sandtstorm that also serves to conceal him.
Superspeed
Sandstorm now enhances Dennis' stats. His speed in particular.
No matter what an enemy's strength, in a swordfight, it will always seem as though the enemy is as strong as Dennis.
Weaknesses: Dennis is very poor against magic users. His abilities lack the efficiency to combat them effectively, except Magic Hammer.
