- Weight: Average
Appearance Description:
Being children, Kopa and Shoka pay little attention to their style or manner of dress and option for whatever is comfortable rather than what is “fashionable” or “stylish”. Born twins, their facial and bone structures are identical and if it were not for their different eye and hair colors, they would be almost indistinguishable. Whenever they venture out into the world they will usually be seen wearing blue jeans (or shorts if it is really hot), a black (or white if it is really hot) T-shirt underneath a beige poncho like garb. Kopa has ropes attached to his poncho-garb that end with metal disks. They also carry with them at all times a pendant that is a simple cord attached to multiple metal strands that hold a gem in place. The gem is an earthy green for Kopa and a dark, misty purple for Shoka. Since they can both fly and hover off the ground, they can also be seen without shoes.
Personality:
--Shoka: Being gifted with an ability that is tied to emotion forces Shoka to try and maintain a calm and collective state at most times. Because of this he is thought to be stoic in nature and some even find him to be a little unfeeling. This is far from the truth however. Like his brother, Shoka is curious about the world and loves life itself though he would rather spend most of his time reading about it, rather than living it. He places value in friendship and any bond he forms with another individual is never based on blind trust. Shoka does not trust as easily as his brother and the process of gaining his trust is long and hard, however those that earn it know that he will be a friend for life.
--Kopa: The more eccentric of the two, Kopa is a curious boy with very stubborn side. He is a free spirit that loves to be wild. He enjoys living life and tries to make the best of what he has. He trusts easily and expects the same from others and is easily hurt emotionally by others because of this. Most people are fooled by him into thinking he has the intelligence of a child but having been brought up by a leading scientist in a technologically advanced civilization makes this far from the case.
History:
Kopa and Shoka were born in a lab in a dimension and on a world called Qualon, named after the gods that created it. They were created by a great (and often at times called mad) scientist known as Zionix. They were born out of an experiment that dealt with altering the genetic code of Qualonians to create super humans. This experiment yielded thirty children. As they were the last of the bunch, they were entrusted to Zionix’s care (The rooster was done alphabetically). While she didn’t care much for the experiments over time she formed a bond with them and eventually started to see them as her children.
Time passed and the children grew normally and were taught by Zionix in-between her duties and missions. While accompanying Zionix on a routine long-range teleportation jump to a base on the other side of the planet, the three were caught in the middle of what was later to be called “The Fall”. The mixture of divine power, magic, and technology propelled the twins into the future and Zionix across dimensions.
The two boys grew up in the new time and eventually helped save the world with the abilities born from the experiment that birthed them. They were granted the task of being gatekeepers to the afterlife and an immense amount of powers. However, the job is not a glorious one and with nothing to do the two abandoned their positions to look for their creator, Zionix. They learn of her being sent to another dimension and set out to follow however the barrier surrounding their own dimension strips them of their godly power and once more deposits them in their mortal bodies, the same as they were before becoming gatekeepers. Once more children of body and mind the two continue forward to find their creator and their way home.
Powers:
--Kopa: Kopa has the ability to create, destroy, and manipulate air on a molecular level through use of willpower. While he does understand what he is doing on a basic scientific level he does not really know much more than that much. His power is controlled through his willpower and belief in himself. The more he trusts in his power, the more he believes he can do it, the more he tries, the more powerful he can become.
--Shoka: Shoka has the ability to use Telekinesis and Telepathy. His powers allow him to move and manipulate thing by an unseen force created by his mind. He can also use his mind to hear others thoughts. Shoka’s powers are controlled through his concentration and focus. The more he concentrates and the more he focuses, the more powerful he becomes.
Equipment:
-Kopa:
--Poncho: His poncho is made of a strengthened material that is able to deflect some force away when hit by a blunt object or force though the effect is very minimal.
--Stone of the Spirit: He carries a necklace made by Zionix that enhances his natural abilities. It channels his willpower and beliefs and amplifies the output. The stone needs to at least a foot from his any part of his body to work. Normal people who come into contact with it will feel as if they are closer, more sure, and more trusting of themselves. The stone has been attuned to his DNA so only he is able to use it.
--Rope and Disks: Kopa has two ropes that end with one metal disk each tied to his poncho at the sides. He is able to use this to help kick up dust or other debris around him when he uses his abilities. They can also be potential turned into weapons. Even though the edge is dull it, moving at a fast enough speed can turn it into an effect weapon.
-Shoka:
--Poncho: His poncho is made of a strengthened material that is able to deflect some force away when hit by a blunt object or force though the effect is very minimal.
--Stone of the Mind: Shoka Carries a necklace made by Zionix that enhances his natural abilities. It allows him to concentrate more easily and deeper and lessens the burden on his mind when using his abilities. The stone needs to be at least a yard from his mind for it to work. Normal people who come into contact with it will feel a moderate calming effect. The stone has been attuned to his DNA so only he is able to use it.
Weakness:
Both children have always relied on their powers to do tasks for them. Their training when younger was always to help develop the powers and control them. Therefore, both are novices at combat with weapons and their bodies.
They have a child’s body which makes them more susceptible to things like illness, fatigue and exhaustion, and harm.
Their stone amplify their abilities and while they would still have powers if they were taken away, they wouldn’t be as strong.
