(A god would debilitate you with its very presence, Toriji. And as I told you in IM, it is designed to seem that way, regardless of what you're used to.)

[exactly, he would think it was only a surge of energy. i don't intend to change the post just because of what i know. That is what he would do.]

(No, it isn't what he'd do, it's what you'd like him to do. If he "hangs out around gods," which he wouldn't, see above, then the surge would seem even more powerful than that.)

[Oh! I didn't see the 'even more'. My bad. And as for the god thing. I don't apreciate your intolerance of that fact]
Toriji braced himself against the wave of pressure and covered his face with his arms.

(It's not intolerance. It's the rules. Godlike power of any sort is not permitted.)
But the wave never hit. When next he looked around, the entire area around him was black, completely without definition. At first, it seemed like he was surrounded by nothing, but after a bit, the feeling of ground beneath his feet, hard stone, could be felt.

[once again, it's not his own power. He just spends a great deal of time around gods. That doesn't affect his own power.]
His eyes darted back and forth across the blank darkness, panis started to overcome him. But, he took in a breath and calmed him self. He threw up a fireball to see if it would still give off light.

The fire gave off light, certainly, as he could see it reflecting off of himself, but it didn't seem to touch anything else, wherever he was.

An illusion? No, I don't think he would do something so playful. I can't help but wonder what it is, but there isn't much I can do. He walked forward to test the bounds of his imprisonment. He retained a cool, calmness about him as he went because he knew panic would be his undoing.

As he continued walking, his light the only source, the glinting of crystal walls came into sight at the fringe of it.

Interesting. I wonder... He looked behind him at his sword and unsteathed it. He reached out with it to tap the crystal with it's siphrilite blade.

The crystal chimed softly at the tapping of the blade, but nothing else notable happened.

He rubbed his chin. Hmm, I must say he has conused me, but it seems he is waiting for me to lose my cool to attack. In that case, I'll be here for a while. He rammed the tip of his sword into the crystal to test it's durability.

Again, the sword chimed off the crystal wall, producing a gentle ringing sound. If Kali was trying to wait Toriji into aggression as the bone demon suspected, he certainly had a very backwards way of doing it.

Hmm? How wierd. It matters not the force, the impact is the same. Oh well, there's really nothing more to do. He sat down on the ground below him and crossed his legs into a maeditative stance. He gave a light hum and waves of energy exuded from him, but were quickly absorbed in a cyclic manner.

(I guess I didn't explain well enough. The chime was louder and more pronounced than when he just tapped it. It's just a gentle chiming as opposed to a sharp chiming.)
A pulse of light came through the opening in the crystal wall, just gently, just enough to catch his attention.
