The Burning Plains raged around the figure that strolled through them, but he seemed unaffected by its heat and flames as it sent his cream robes billowing around him, though as hot as they burned, they never seemed to reach his perfectly angelic face.
"Bone Prince!" he called out across the plains. "Come forth and show me what you desire!"

Toriji turned to his enemy, who was almost like divinity among demons. "I want you to know that I respect you a great deal, Kali. I look forward to what is sure to be an intense match of wits." He was still in his human form, even though he was in his home realm. He unsheathed his sword and laid it across his shoulders. While cracking his joints and knuckles, he spoke out. "Please feel free to make the first move."

The Man-Demon bowed in return, graceful, proper. "Ah, you honor me, your highness, to express your respect. However," he added as he stood up again, "as the ranking being here, it would only be proper of me to allow the first move to go to you."

"Thank you, but there is no need to refer to me as 'Prince'. My father is the King, that has nothing to do with my acomplishments. 'Toriji' will be fine." He lowered his sword down from his shoulder. "Rai, Shin, Po, Gen, Zetsu!" Two more sets of arms sprouted from under his already-existing ones. "Rin, Cho!" His sword was cloned and each hand held one. "Dance of the Burning Zephyrs." He charged in twisting his body in a contortionist fasion. Shor wave of energy jumped from his blades in the form of a white fire, creating an unpredictable wall of burning blades.

"You have much to learn about combat," the Man-Demon answered. "Foremost, always seek to use the terrain to your advantage. A combatant that can do that has an edge over his adversary, no matter how strong they are, as he need not waste the energy his opponent does to accomplish the same feat."
He reached out to one side with his hand, fair as a woman's, and swiped it over before him. In its wake, the fire of the plains, themselves, washed over between him and the Burning Zephyr attack, the flames swirling about each other before the former was absorbed in the more endless supply of the latter.

"Yes I must admit, there is much to learn, but I'm sure you realize that this isn't near the extendof my power. Just as I know that wasn't near the extent of yours." He spoke through the flames then threw all but one of his swords at Kali. He clapped all six of his hands together and mumbled some Seals as he slapped them on the ground. "Thousand Fists!" One thousand, large, earthen fists sprung from the ground around Kali and sped at him with bone-crushing force.

The blonde man simply watched as they came in, then began leaning to the sides as they came, dodging them effortlessly even as he spoke. "Then explain to me, if you know what you are presently attempting is useless, why waste your energy attempting it?"

"It's all a test. You know that I've never even seen you fight. That puts me at a major disadvantage. But I see that that was ineffective, so allow me to step up my attacks." He pushed his hands into the ground. He mumbled a few more seals. "Hell Fissure" aMillions of medium-sized fissures speard from his hands. the reached out to Kali pouring forth searing lava and sending out Hellhounds to dispatch him.

lava filled cracks in the ground below him. From those fissures, dogs crawl out to pursue Kali.

But all the Man-Demon did was chuckle. Even as the ground beneath him shattered, he simply floated above the lava precisely where he had stood before, and the hell hounds pounded after him for a moment, but then he met their gaze, and they stopped, whimpered and ran off.
"My ranking in the hierarchy of Hell is higher than yours, boy," the Nephilim lectured. "Summoning the minions of Hell will avail you not. They will not attack me upon your orders. By all means, however, do try again."

[they're not minions of hell, that's just their name. they have no internal inteligence, they're more like Toriji's puppets.]

(Ah, alright, so they're not actual Hell Hounds, just summoned dogs. My bad. Consider this post an edit.)
But all the Man-Demon did was chuckle. Even as the ground beneath him shattered, he simply floated above the lava precisely where he had stood before. As the dogs leaped at him en masse, he held out one hand toward them, and an invisible wave of energy washed over them, just the right amount to disintegrate them in mid-air.
"If you truly wish to face me, child," the Nephilim lectured calmly, "you will have to do it under your own strength. Summoned beasts and mindless spooks are far too easily dispatched."

However as Kali spoke, Toriji crumbled into dust. Though Kali was looking at him, that slight shift of movement was all he needed to substitute himself out of sight. He reformed like molten steel and began swinging his swords at him. "You can't forget that I'm a ninja. It'll kill ya in the end."

But the blades only moved through him, even as he just smiled and laughed at the boy. He was attacking a projection, an immaterial remote image rather than the Man-Demon, himself. "Who said I forgot, boy?" he asked. "To the contrary, I simply don't care. It's irrelevant. You waste your time making fakes when it doesn't fool me at all."
