Ever since Brawl and SC4, crossover crazes have began popping up. Remember Marvel vs Capcom? Well, neither of them are involved, but the rivals of EACH of those companies are! www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpx0kgfEjQcReal? Fake? Discuss!

Unfortunately, this is a real deal here, and nothing good can come out of it.

My god... that's horrible.
P1. alot of DC's characters don't really have too much power to fight off the MK guys[ save for a special few]
P2 would the DC heroes really be able to perform a fatality on someone?[once again, doesn't appy to a few]
this'll be horrible. I'm a die-hard fan of both Capcom and Marvel, and I'd hate to see this happen to their genre.

I'm always excited for crossovers, no matter how terrible the game is. Though the recent trend for ALL games is starting to get... I dunno... not as exciting.
Though what dissapoints me more than anything else, is that after Mortal Kombat Armageddon was released, the team said they'd be making a new Mortal Kombat with new characters (perhaps keeping staples like Sub-Zero and Scorpion, possibly in the fluff or as hidden characters) as well as a new fighting engine for it... and they spent their whole time on this. Granted, this WILL make them money, so it will not be even close to being a nail in their coffin. I was really really really looking forward for a new engine after they repeatedly mucked up the Deadly Alliance one.
Highly debatable, DC is known for having characters with rediculous powers and capabilities, far exceeding those of the Mortal Kombat Universe, and that's not only applying to the staples like Superman (who is in the game by the way).
Actually, it was stated in an interview that they have to lower the rating down from M to T... thus... NO FATALITIES... instead they are getting a different kind of finishing system similar to that of Marvel Rise of the Imperfects... I think that's what the game was called...
What do you mean? As in a Capcom vs Marvel fighting game? That's been done, but if you probably know that and are reffering to something else, so what do you mean exactly?

This looks like it will be alot of fun, though it being rated T makes it start in a weird territory. However, if something like this could come into existence, than I'm sure the creators really wanted to make this game, and will have crafted it with love

Well, I'll probably get it. Is it just the DC heroes or will we be seeing some villains, too? Sub-Zero vs Mr. Freeze, perhaps? How about Darkseid vs Scorpion? Joker vs Liu Kang?

I think this is a bad idea. Even more so that I hear its going to be a T rating with not super awsome death moves. Although fighting games are not really my thing, I think it would have been more interesting if it was Marvel VS DC or MK vs DOA.
From what I remember, has there been ANY good games with DC characters in them?
Oh and Kainus what is SC4?

Perhaps the reason why you do not feel there have been any good DC games can be gleaned from your first paragraph. What seems to make a good game to you is impractical but gruesome death moves that nobody ever uses anyway because they need massive, impractical combos that nobody but the people that only play it for them know (the fatalities) or impractical outfits on busty women with exaggerated "bounce" dynamics (the only thing that separated DoA from all the other fighter games, as the fighting it had was actually rather blah and to call the character and level design mediocre would be extremely generous and forgiving). What makes a game good varies from person to person and a game usually has to be distinctly bad to not appeal to anyone.

Mortal Kombat is on par with DoA for bounce these days, but yeah. Mortal Kombat does not have good mechanics, I've discussed this with many people many times. People seem to say " I like fatalities therefor gameplay is better" which is something completely unrelated to gameplay. Mortal Kombat is awesome cheesecake though, for violence, and very fun to watch.
I sure as hell hope that we see some DC villians though, I think it would be impossible not to put the Joker in this game after his big role in the batman movie this year

Let alone big bouncing boobies, hence the reason I don't own Rumble Roses or the new one for the 360. I liked DOA because the control were easy and I liked the interesting fighting stles. Also I managed to pull off a 21 hit combo with Kasumi on average which is why she is my favorite character in the game. I think it would surprise you that I went a whole year with DOA2 hardcore before noticing the bounce opotion. But then again... I was more into Orge Battle 64 at the time. Which was another game with out gruesome goar or any naughtyness that happens to be my favorite game for the N64. DC games just haven't been good games to my knowlege. I'm not much of a DC comic fan and don't care for their games but I just don't remember a good game made that had DC characters in it. The only one that was somewhat interesting (Note: I only played the demo) was the Teen Titans one which happened to be simillar to X-men legends (Anoter great game that I played without goar or naughtyness). Out of all the video game sites that I've visited, I can't remember one of them talking about how good some DC comic game was.

In other words, i think they're getting into something they shouldn't and ruin crossover for people who may have picked them up for the first time
