That's right. I wanna do it. I've recently been getting into KOTOR II, and now I want to stick a Star Wars RP into the mix.
Story is a lot like the TGE; I'll have some ideas, but I'll have a few people I hold in high esteem chip in on ways to spice things up, ways to direct, organize, execute, etc.
Basic thing is, turbo a thousand years into the future(as of where the novels are; check Wookiepedia for more info on where that is.) The Jedi Academies have been expanding and expanding, and the Jedi are as numerous as they once were during the heyday of the old Republic. Holocrons were even located concerning the old Jedi lightsaber combat forms, and the Jedi have since regained knowledge of those once-believed lost arts.
But, as is per usual, all is not well. The Imperial Remnant, which has been known for cycles of instability, has once again been taken over by a Sith Lord, and said lord was able to, through a series of blitzkrieg-style surprise attacks, take most of the Outer Rim territories of the Galactic Alliance, and poses a significant threat to the Alliance. Also as per usual, the Jedi are called on to do their duty and defend the Alliance.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There be the outline for the rp. Joiners are not required to be Jedi or Sith; Knights and Padawans are encouraged, and Masters will be accepted on a case-by-case basis, though I don't intend for there to be many.
Sith can only be Learners and Lords, though Learners will be encouraged primarily because they are generally independent of their masters.
Force-Sensitive non-Jedi/Sith will be accepted on a case-by-case basis, and military info and such will be provided as is needed. Smugglers and the like are also accepted and encoraged.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For characters created, I'd prefer that, somewhere in the character sheet, that the forms the character practices are written out; form info can be found onWookiepedia. This is primarily to establish strengths and weaknesses for each Jedi; someone who fights like Yoda, for instance, would find themselves fatigued quicker than some during long fights, and someone who fights like Anakin Skywalker could get outmaneuvered by a particularly crafty opponent. A swordsman fighting like Obi-Wan would find it difficult to win a fight; they could survive and not be defeated, but their offense would be weak compared to the offenses of others; Wookiepedia will instruct you on the abilities of each form to protect against blaster fire.

Blasters are guns. Pure and simple.
