If possible... would starting a rally/demonstration really call it to attention?
I mean, if every single member here on the EAB (and if I can rally the Vinny, GSF, and Sinner's Abyss... as well as MAYBE the clan I'm in on darkthrone... all the forums I go to) got together all their intelligent friends and started rallies across the country that caught local newspeople everywhere, started petetitions, voiced our opinions through our speeches, used our parents (or if we're over 18, do it ourself), and more... do you think we could get a movement going? I don't mean a nationwide change movement. That's impossible for now. I'm talking about a nationwide awareness thing.
Could it be possible?

I'll be blunt with you, Flame.........
No.
Let's face it. The world is going on a slow and steady desent into idiocy and self-destruction. May as well sit back and watch the bloodbath, and don't forget to stop at the gift shop at the end of the ride.

Heh, let's just hope that the utter destruction of our ozone layer and suffering of humanity doesn't happen in our lifetimes...

...just like our parents said, Flame, just like our parents said...
I find this absolutely hilarious...
I can just see my sister shaking her head and going all "wtf whores?" and laughing her ass off at them. She's 10, and part of this "younger generation" we love to degrade as being worse than our own. Point being, it's not the girls' fault, but the parents for not using discression, censoring them from this garbage until they're at least old enough to wear a bra...really...the Pussycat Dolls? Who even likes the Pussycat Dolls?! Better yet, who in their right mind would think that the Pussycat Dolls of all the other popculture groups and figures, would make such great idols for a 7-freaking-year-old girl?
And then find it a good idea to post their own children doing striptease acts, on the internet (youtube, no less), for a whole world of horny pedophiles to gander at what them girls ain't got.
It's been said before, but I think I'll repeat it. "Parents need to have licenses to raise kids."
Heh, psychopathic whores...Scary concept.
This all reminds be of the begining stages of the downfall of every single civilization before ours. History repeating itself, only with more advanced technology.
Oh well, the next generation is only marginally worse than our own...

I agree about the license for raising kids, hell you have to have one to get married, but the problem is that if you did need a license to have kids there would still be a hell of alot of unplanned pregnancies out there, we would have to solve that problem first without having the government rip the kids outta the parents arms because then we got a shit load of orphans. And EJP if your sister is that bad of a model i'd really hate to see those pics, i just do Cosplaying for fun and because the fact i pick the characters everyone loves i just so happen to get my picture taken in the pose they choose, so thats really saying something about your sister there.
And Scar made a great point about the media and the rolemodels that the kids of the new generations have to look up to, I mean you can even take a look at disney, they endorse Lindsey Lohan (dont know if they do anymore), Hilary Duff, The Chetah girls, all of them talentless husks in my opinion, there are more i really dont feel the need to go into detail. As for Paris Hilton I had a pic of exactly how I feel about the dumb bimbo but until i find it I cant post it, lets just say the world dosent need her

So... what? Is there something about you guys trying to get any reason to rant your asses off here? I had to see the whole video, and I didn't really have a problem with it. So girls like dancing, we all know that by now, and it's hardly a striptease, a striptease would have to involve actual stripping. If little girls started doing that, then we have a problem.
Seriously guys, you're getting riled up over nothing. Granted, I didn't like the video as I don't like the Pussycat Dolls and their attention-whoring ways, but you're all treating it like it's the end of f***ing civilization here. It's just some innocent little dance that's, albeit somewhat provocative, pretty much the modern equivalent of Elvis' swinging hips back in the 50s. You know you guys are the only ones being all alarmist about. Pipe down, it's not the end of the world.

As one of the uber-conservative Christian ZOMG j00 SK4NK HOE type people on this board, I'm gonna have to agree with Silva. You guys are kind of overreacting.
Personally, I'll give the girls a round of applause. While incredibly cheesy, some of those moves require major core strength, and a lot of those required quad strength. Granted, I'm not sure how tough they are to do when you're 30 lbs, but hey, more power to 'em.

Speaking as a concervatively liberal moderate... It's just some innocent little dance that's, albeit somewhat provocative, pretty much the modern equivalent of Elvis' swinging hips back in the 50s. You know you guys are the only ones being all alarmist about. Pipe down, it's not the end of the world. Oh noes! A differing opinion from the majority! Don't mind us, we like to hear ourselves talk...or see ourselves type, whatever. I'm impressed someone made it all the way through to the end; I had to stop at the 1:00 mark. Was laughing too hard to continue watching. Wasn't Elvis, oh, 3 or four times the younger's age when he started his career and his whole hip-swinging thing? And she's only a couple years out of diapers? Of course it's not the end of the world, that's what I find so hilarious. However, parents need to learn, teach and use discression, if there is such a word anymore. "Somewhat provocative" my eye; when all that separates this dance from being a striptease is the removal of clothing, is it really appropriate for little kids? So what is unappropriately provocative then, if they dance like that in a bikini? In their underwear? Maybe a tubetop and short shorts? Tell me, where do we cross the line, because as far as I can see, it's all the same dance. The outfits don't make the dance. They could dance like that in a sweatsuit for all I care, that doesn't make the dance any less provocative. No, it's not the end of the world, but it sure as hell isn't helping matters. So yes, damn it, I'm going to rant and rave until it becomes clear that this itemization of the female body, which this kind of dancing encourages, is unacceptable bullcrap. I sure as heck don't want my little sister growing up in a world where the worth of a woman is only measured by the size of her chest. Personally, I'll give the girls a round of applause. While incredibly cheesy, some of those moves require major core strength, and a lot of those required quad strength. Granted, I'm not sure how tough they are to do when you're 30 lbs, but hey, more power to 'em. That's a point well made, and I agree; that kind of stuff is hard to do. That's why so many people that dance like that are so...skinny. Granted, they also vomit their food back up, but still... There are also a lot of other dances that are more of a workout and less "skank/hoe-ish" than this. What about ballet, Jazz/Swing dancing, or (a true full-body workout) Breakdancing, among other things? (among other things...aka "I can't think of any more examples") I don't blame the girls for choosing this; they're just following what the rest of America sees as okay for young girls to do, and yea, more power to them. But seriously, it's up to the parents to be parents, not friends. Their kids don't need friends; they have enough friends at school. They need to stop being afraid of their kids enough to step in and say, "look, you can like this stuff all you want, but you're going to have to wait until you're a little older." And until then, they can try out some other dances or activites...That's all it takes, just being a parent. [/rant] Just a conservatively liberal moderate point of view.

Actualy, I ment that you are doing more for your career as a model than she is. Even though you are not or ever will be one. You see, she thinks she'll be a good model by being a myspace whore. Which is one of the reason I don't like to go on myspace because I can't help it that my sister is in my top whatever of friends (I only have 8 people so I can't bump her off it and if I do, she fixes it so that she shows up) and I have to see her pictures which I don't approve of (I'm her brother and I refuse to answer the Q every dude asks me about her and I don't want to see my sister in "those" ways.) and if I still was at a point where I cared about my sister's image, I'd kill or have had killed the camera man. Hey Silva I'm against censorship on many levels, but it's up to the parents to teach their kids how to behave and tell them what is right. Weather its telling them that doing that makes you look like a whore or that by doing that you'll break your (Insert name of body part) (That last one always worked on me when I was kid and about to do something stupid) or if you have to go hit them for missbehaving. Most people here, I'm guessing because I'm one of them, are just fed up with having to see and hear about what some dumb girl did, that has 0 signifficants on everyone's life. Thus, we are doing the right thing and venting so we don't pick up that Remington M24 7.62mm bolt action rifle with the Night vision telesopic sight and mini digital camera that takes a picture the second of whatever is in your scope when you pull the trigger so you get to see the exact moment before your target dies, and puts an end to someone who is not at all important in any way.

Just deviating from the topic a little, but where might I be able to find/buy/"borrow" one of those Remington M24 7.62mm bolt action rifles with the night vision telescopic sight and mini digital camera that takes a picture of whatever is in my scope the second I pull the trigger so I get to see the exact moment before my target dies? Just asking. >.>

Just about any gun or hunting shop. Remember, you must be 21 years old to buy or own a gun or rifle. Also, in California, while transportings such fire arms in a car. The weapon must be unloaded and placed in the trunk while the ammo is to be held separate from the weapon in the front of the car in a locked box. Hopefully this has been helpful.

I happen to think there's something to get riled up about, but you have every right to disagree with me and most of the others who have piped up on this thread. This is still America, after all. My point, however, was less about the girls dancing provocatively, and more about what I think it represents. I think kids today are overexposed to these "celebrities" who don't do anything except party and have sex. I mean, honestly, Anna Nicole Smith's death was covered almost as extensively as the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Case in point, I believe the country needs to seriously back off its obsession with celebrities. Especially the no talent attention whores who have somehow become idolized by a lot of the country's youth. And EJP, even if I have to keep hearing about them, I wouldn't kill them. None of them are worth the time or the effort. Besides, with all the alcohol/drugs they get into, they're bound to kill themselves at some point. However, earlier in this thread I said intellectualism is being destroyed. After thinking about it a little more, I have to take that back. I guess I'm still sore about 2000 and 2004. Last year, however, is proof that people are still smart enough to not only realize when their government's corrupt, but also do something about it, so we're not as bad off as I previously stated. Still, we could stand to do a whole lot better. I'm sure we can all agree on that.

This is why i wnt to move. Though, this is better than the stuff here. here we have the no child left behind act coming to 75% of students, and then there is 10 - 13 year olds complaining of pregnancies, 14-18 having kids, and then finally, we have people shanking others for sitting in the same seat as them.
